We last stayed here in October 2020 and loved it. Rebooking for our multigenerational family vacation was a no-brainer. The home remains clean, well-maintained, spacious, and in a great location. The property itself deserves 4–5 stars.We paid extra a week in advance to heat the pool. Upon arrival, it felt cold, the hot tub was equally cold, and leaves covered the pool. There was no skimmer, despite management expecting us to clean it. The owner came the next day, confirmed the missing skimmer, purchased one, and cleaned the pool.We then learned the pool and hot tub couldn't operate simultaneously and that we had to call Corey, the property manager, to turn on the hot tub. Scheduling issues repeatedly left it cold. A technician eventually discovered the pool timer was set incorrectly and overriding the app. Once fixed on day four, everything worked flawlessly.Unfortunately, our questions were met with defensiveness and rude communication. After checkout, Corey called my mother-in-law and threatened a negative review in return if we left one, warning it could affect our future VRBO bookings. We followed the house rules, paid in full, and checked out on time.By the end of our stay, we would have rated the experience 3–3.5 stars. The biggest disappointment came afterward, when we felt intimidated into leaving a less honest review.We never spoke directly with the owners but requested to. We recommend carefully reviewing the pool and hot tub restrictions before booking.
