great peaceful ranch getaway

We certainly enjoyed our stay. House was exactly as advertised and thoughtfully set up for guests. We were not missing anything we needed, and felt right at home. Thank you for a perfect weekend!

Beautiful countey home

Despite the rain and mud we had a great time. The property was perfect for our family and our fur family too. We definitely recommend the Artesia Ranch!!

Mother's Day w/ my Family

Your house was PERFECT for our family on Mother's Day weekend. Very quiet, wooded area with lots of room to roam. We would recommend this Ranch house for anyone staying in the Comanche County area.

Amazing

We stayed here for 12 nights. I can not say enough good things. We had the most amazing time! Suzie is amazing. Property is very clean and beautiful! We LOVED it.

Quiet country space!

Being from the country, it was a nice place to chill with friends and enjoy the scenery In a similar atmosphere. The pecan trees were stunning and your cattle operation was amazing.

Peaceful

The house was very clean. We loved that we could bring our dogs. Nice fenced area for dogs. You can see the cattle from your window. Beautiful pecan trees throughout.

Peace and Quiet

Very relaxing; well equipped; and spotlessly clean. Lots of room for you and your pets to play. Great spot to unwind, or a short drive to some really good wineries. I'll be back.

Absolutely gorgeous! Quiet and peaceful. I thought we lived in the country, but this was COUNTRY! Everything inside was clean and comfy. We had a party of 6. The accommodations couldnt have been better! Susie, the manager, was super sweet. If she was my neighbor, we'd be friends.

Beautiful Ranch Setting

This home is on a 2200 acre working cattle and pecan ranch. The home is very nice, but the setting is what i loved the most. We were all grieving over a family member who had passed but the home was a wonderful , peacful pkace to spend with family and friends during such a difficult time. The hostess was so nice and very responsive to us.

Horse Show Gals

My friends and I stayed here for a couple of nights while we were attending our horse show. The house was very clean and had all of the amenities which was awesome! We were able to have everything we needed to cook our meals. I personally recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay in Hamilton. It's on a beautiful piece of property! The property managers are very accommodating and kind!

Great Location and Hospitality!

The house is on a working cattle ranch, was roomy, comfortable and cozy. The owner is on property, was very helpful and friendly. The house was a short easy drive to the Circle T arena in Hamilton. I would recommend this location and will likely stay again when in the area. The only downside is there is very limited cell service (none for Verizon) so take care of your electronic communications prior to heading to the house. I personally enjoyed to peace and quiet! I recommend this property when staying in the area or just looking for a peaceful quiet getaway!

Unique Experience

.We loved our stay at Artesian Ranch; the house is very comfortable and attractive with a large well-appointed kitchen. Next time we go, I might even cook! The pecan orchard is gorgeous and the cattle give a real pastoral, idyllic sense. This property is so beautiful and quiet, even though it is a large, working ranch. The Stallings' work and obvious appreciation of the land is evident. We are anxious to try the Akaushi beef we purchased from our host, Susie. She was a delight to meet. We ventured to Hico for the Steak Cook-Off – unique affair for sure.

Labor Day weekend Getaway

We were extremely pleased with this outing. Property was like brand-new, in a classic ranch setting under wonderful pecan, oaks, and others and the best dark sky stars. Suzanne met us at the drive, with all the details and a short tour. The house was very well supplied, and perfectly comfortable for our family gathering. We had requested their locally sourced Angus beef, and it was waiting in the freezer, and sumptuous from the grill! Morning group coffee under the pecans, with foxes running across the meadow to the river was idyllic. Our idea of night life is dominos at the dining table, so did not mind the 12-14 miles to either of the towns. This was just what we wanted, and we would gladly be their guests again.

Good To Be Back

This was our second stay and there is no doubt we'll be back. The house is perfect for our needs, is always clean, well equipped and we love the fact it has a garage so our car is protected and kept out of the sun. We love the location and the ranch on which the house is located. The surrounding scenery is lovely and its great to see the cattle, donkey's and horses to name but a few. Yesterday evening we were walking our dogs in one of the fields and three horses came running up to check out our Greyhounds. Susie, the property manager is fantastic, very helpful and always making sure we have everything we needed and that the property is perfect for us. This is our second time to this property and we will definitely be back. I'd highly recommend it.

Perfect escape from the city

Loved our stay. Well appointed and property managers are so friendly and have great communication. Property is in the middle of a cattle and pecan tree farm, so it is very serene and relaxing, and perfect place to truly unplug. It’s less than 20 minutes in either direction of grocery stores, a winery, gas station, etc. Do know that when you come here, you’ll truly be “unplugged” as cell network doesn’t really work unless you are on ATT. I didn’t realize this coming out, but it was also a blessing in disguise. 😊 We brought our pups with us and they enjoyed the fenced yard. It was nice to let them run while we enjoyed the outdoors too. Hope to be back!

Family Friendly

The house was perfect for our Thanksgiving get together. Susie was extremely accommodating and responsive to any questions that we needed. She loaded up 3 large tables and chairs for our guest! From a family that uses VRBO at least 6x a year, this was by far the cleanest home we have stayed in. Thank you for your hospitality.
