Property was cozy and nice. We would have liked to control the air temps more but maybe that was something we should have discussed (it kept resetting and not lowering to desired temps). The condo has everything you need. Elevators are slow but its a BIG condo building. Views were amazing!

Great Vacation

Our stay at Tidewater Resort 1716 was really really great. The apartment was clean and very pretty. I was especially happy to see a nice washer and dryer. The apartment provided everything that we needed for our home away from home and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Great location, we will definitely be back.

We have been to multiple locations in Florida but this was our first trip to Panama City Beach. This was by far our favorite place we have been in Florida and the condo was amazing. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We could watch dolphins in the Gulf without ever leaving our room. We will be staying here again for sure and will recommend it to our friends.

Elevator

The only complaint would be the elevator wait time is very long and that can be aggravating. However, over all the visit was enjoyable!

Nice room! Elevators was beyond horrible. So bad that I will not stay at this property again.

Clean room, clean building, and has everything you would need at this property. Only down fall is the elevators. Completely ridiculous to have to stand and wait 20 minutes to get somewhere. Sometimes even longer.

As far as the elevators go, you were visiting on the busiest week of the year for a beach front property, there are going to be delays. Every high rise condo will have elevators wait times which are worse than the off season. All you can do is try to avoid the rush using the tips we provide.

unit 1716 is the very best

when buying a house it is location, location, location. when renting it is location, finding a nice place, and being able to communicate with the owner. location-Tidewater has the best location in panama city beach. many places to shop and eat within walking distance. It also has the best excerceroom, with a lot of equipment, along with roman spas, sunas,steam rooms, lockers and showers. anice place-unit 1716 is like new. It has been newly painted along with mpstly new furniture and a new mattress The new owners are excellent.They are always available, and willing to help.

Great location, great condo!

Condo was excellent. Great location right on the beach. Great view of the beach and gulf. Condo was well stocked with quality cookware, dishes, silverware, etc. Condo looked exactly like pics online. Balcony furniture was nice. There is an elevator close to the unit. The only negative we encountered was the mattress on the bed in the master bedroom. We both have had some back problems in the past and require a high quality mattress. Other than that, we couldn't ask for a better experience. You will love this unit!

Vacation

Your condo is absolutely decorated and you have everything that anybody could ever need and it was so much appreciated. I only have one complaint and it does not reflect on the owners at all for me . The floors were filthy. I have a 1 year old granddaughter that we brought the walker for and right when we got there and was unpacking we put her in the walker to run around. Her feet were black after I got her from the walker and we had not ever even left the condo yet . They definitely do not clean the floors . They might have been swept but they were not clean. Other than that we enjoyed our condo very much and we thank you for sharing it with our family. 🌞

Thank you for your kind remarks regarding the decor. We work hard to keep the condo in extremely nice condition including the cleanliness and if you look at all the other reviews you can see that this is the case. Our housekeeper's number is posted in the unit as well as ours and if you had any issues upon arrival you could have called us or her and we could have addressed this right away. I can't see that there would have been any issue with the floor, as our unit was deep cleaned just prior to your arrival. My housekeeper also messaged me that you left my unit in disarray, rearranged my living room furniture and decor and didn't follow check out instructions.

Wintering at Tidewater / PCB

The Homeowner manages this rental and is great to work with - responsive to all inquiries and concerns. The condo is accurately depicted in the listing; well kept and adequately equipped. FYI: this was my second visit to Tidewater; I stayed in a different unit last year from Jan-Mar 2023, so I had a good idea of the facilities and reasonable expectations of the amenities. I gave the online listing only 4 stars because of what I consider an omission: in Nov'23 the HOA made a decision to switch from Comcast cable to WOW! cable/streaming. When they made the conversion they eliminated program scheduling. Functionally what that means is that when you open the cable guide or Roku streaming menu on the TV all you see is a list of channels numbers and names but with no detail about what's currently playing or hourly schedule showing future shows. There are some offline workarounds and some people may have online accounts to Roku for streaming; for those of us who don't - ultimately it takes what should be a seamless easy process and turns it into a project. For short term rentals this is probably not a big deal but for a 3 month stay it was frustrating on a daily basis.

Excellent property!

We stumbled upon this gem for our home away from home stay. We had never been to PCB and chose this location due to the amenities and location. Only thing I wasn’t big on was the construction but it wasn’t Dallas by any means. The elevator times also weren’t bad! Just avoid them at 10 AM and 4 PM and you’ll be good! The maintenance elevators are what we used most and they were easy to deal with. The unit is a good size, beautiful and clean. I have absolutely no complaints. The master shower was our favorite so we used it primarily because the size and shower head/water pressure. Our son loved the bunk beds so that was nice because he was steps away from us. I wanted to stay a full week due to us not taking a trip in 2 years so we only got to stay here for 6 nights and checked into another hotel for our last day which was a huge mistake! I wish we would’ve just chose another week or came later because everything was terrible at Top of the Gulf and we were so blessed and spoiled with the Stephen's unit at Tidewater. If you are having any second thoughts, don’t! It’s fabulous! Thank you guys so much for everything’ Y’all are wonderful host and have such a beautiful condo! We will definitely be back in the future!!!

All the comforts of home…at the beach!

We loved our stay in this condo and felt right at home! The king size bed was great! The full kitchen with all the right tools to cook meals and having a Keurig made it even better. The view from the balcony and the comfy outdoor couch made for a perfect spot for morning coffee each morning! I’m many posts I read the the elevators had been an issue but we never waited too long and all of the staff we encountered were very courteous and helpful. The location was perfect and close to our favorite gym, the ball park, and Pier Park! It rained our entire trip except for one day but we enjoyed every last minute of our trip! These hosts were amazing with communicating and making sure we had everything we needed! We will be back!

Amazing

View was amazing. Condo was perfect. Great customer cervice with condo owners. You will not regret your stay.

Perfect location

Renting from Lacee and Bryon was a perfect choice for our family vacation. The condo was excellent in cleanliness and decor it also had a great view of the golf and the pier. It was a nice walk to pier park. We would definitely recommend staying here a perfect location close to entertainment, shopping and restaurants.

Wonderful holiday stay

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful condo. It was so nice to be right in the beach as you walked out the back door of the complex. In the mornings we’d walk downstairs for Starbucks (which is right on site) then sit on the balcony and just listen to the waves. The condo was very clean and the owners have paid a lot attention to small details. The decor is perfect with a beach theme! It was nice not to have to crawl behind things to plug in all our devices. The owners have desktop chargers in the master bedroom, bunk room and living room. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back! Panama City beach is the most beautiful beach we’ve ever been to!

New Year's Eve in Paradise!

I stayed with my son and his family for the holiday and it was wonderful! The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had before and during our stay. The condo was exceptionally clean upon arrival and we had everything we needed for our stay. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. We went to Pier Park for the New Year's celebration. It only took about 5 minutes to drive there and we had dinner at Hook'd, enjoyed shopping and live music prior to the beach ball drop at 8pm. At midnight, we were able to enjoy fireworks right from the balcony! I felt right at home in this condo and it was definitely the cleanest and nicest condo I've ever stayed in. Will be back for sure!

Love this place!

We have stayed at Tidewater in this Unit (1716) several times over the past few years and have always enjoyed our stay. Bryan & Lacee (new owners) have updated with a new mattress in the bedroom, new living room furniture, fresh coat of paint and lovely beachy decor. We slept great on the new mattress and were really happy with the new furniture-very comfortable! The place is so cute and very inviting. There is nothing like the view of the Gulf from the 17th floor balcony and you definitely feel like you are living the life! There’s a newer front-loading washer and dryer in the unit, which is helpful and convenient when you’re staying for a longer period of time. All the amenities you need to stay in and cook are available as well as plenty of restaurants and bars close by. Pier Park is within walking distance of Tidewater and a great place to spend an afternoon shopping, grabbing lunch or relaxing with a drink in hand. We truly do love this place and it’s perfect for us, when we want to get away to Panama City Beach.

Awesome Vacation Rental

We’ve stayed in the property with the previous owners multiple times. The new owners have updated the unit and it looks amazing. Everything was there that we needed. The owners were easy to work with and easy to get ahold of. I would most definitely recommend and stay here in this unit again. Comfortable beds dishes pots and pans. We felt right at home except with an ocean in our back yard.
