I felt in love too...funny, nice and pleasant! It was a pleasure to host this group of friends for their vacation in Sardinia. They were cooperative and respectful of the house, I highly recommend Micheal and his friends.

It's surreal you had the courage to write this. The communication was terrible, even before they arrived. Half an hour after checking in, they told me that neither the oven nor the refrigerator were working. I demanded that I replace them, but only the next day did they tell me that they had tripped the power by turning everything on at once. They didn't even want to give me my ID cards, it took 2 days to be able to send them to the police late. They insistently demanded extra sunbeds by the pool; I bought 2 the next day and brought them to them personally. There are 10 mattresses for the sunbeds, also for chairs and garden, but they don't listen. In fact, of the many beautiful homes that have hosted you, there is not a single review about you. There were 2 dogs, they only mentioned a small one, and they made a mess everywhere. They moved very heavy furnitures from the pool to the house, and when I asked if they would kindly put it back, they waved a €10 bill in my face, telling me to do it myself. The parents had an accident the day before checkout and had never taken out the trash during their stay. I simply asked how many bags there were so I could manage it for the next guests, and they said 1. Then the bags were 5 and I took them as well. Instead, they hid other garbage in the garden. Given the situation, I personally called the place where they were going next and allowed them a late checkout, all without asking for extra money, as per the contract. Customer service told me to keep my deposit for everything you did, and I gave up. This wasn't enough simply because you're very rude people.

The worst guests I've ever had since the review is completely made up and VRBO has proofs of it. They arrived one hour and a half ahead of schedule but I let them in since it was very hot. Not in compliance with the reservation, they showed up with 2 extra people and 1 dog (I hadn't been asked about them). They didn't even ask if something was due for it. Talking to VRBO, they said I shouldn’t have let them in, in the first place since they disrespected the agreement and I could make them leave anytime during their stay. The house was transformed in a camping site since they moved all the beds in one room. The first night the electricity went out and they complained about the electrical panel, but it was brand new, it went out just because they turned everything on and the system was overloaded. They said the air conditioner was broken because hot air was coming out, actually they set it on heat. On the second day Hubert texted me: “grazie mille qui è tutto molto bello e perfetto!” (thanks a lot, everything is handsome and perfect!”). On the third day they told me the garden was dirty and I showed them some pictures, taken previously, of the working gardeners. The next day I paid for some more gardening. I specified I was ready to give them back the rent and I suggested them to find a more suitable house, but they decided to stay. Then they made up that the swimming-pool was dirty and with no chlorine in it. I showed them the chlorine in the pool, after which they said the cause of the dirt was the old engine, but I showed the invoice of the purchase made the previous month. They independently decided to use the robot to clean the pool maybe because the dog went into it. Inside the robot I found black dog’s hairs. On the fourth day, despite giving detailed instructions on recycling, they mixed glass, waste and plastic and I got fined. I didn’t ask for the money back, but nothing changed. The house was built in the 70s, but it has been renovated several times during the years: the 3 bathroom are new, just like the floor. In the kitchen it's all new, just some furniture will be renewed since they are dated, not broken. During the stay they never complain about the mattresses. They broke several things and I didn’t mention it. The house was always open when they went out even if I strongly suggested to lock it. The air conditioning was on 24/7. I tried my best to please this guest, but it’s hard to satisfy someone who invents non- existent problems.
