Magiske solnedgange og solopgange med Maui i horisonten, blide nattevejr regner dig til at sove (og gøre regnbuerne) og en stille og fredfyldt så svært at finde - dette er magien i Hale 'Io. Frodige omgivelser, sexet pool med skjult klippeslid og vandfald og udsigt, der aldrig afslutter. Se hvaler fra lanai- eller havdækket, vågne op til fuglene, lyt til vinden - det taler virkelig til dig her.

Specialbygget hjem til afslappet familieliv. Frodige grunde, økologisk frugtplantage, rigelig parkering, pool-indgangspool, storslået køkken - 2 opvaskemaskiner, 2 mikrobølger, 2 ovne, opvarmningsskuffe - egnet til den færdige kok. This was an absolutely stunning property with amazing views that are almost dreamlike! The host was amazing, and the property was clean and well stocked. It was a little inexpensive side, however, it was probably worth the money!

This is THE place to stay if you want ultimate luxury in the seclusion of natural beauty. The views of Waipo Vally are unmatched. Proximate to Honokaa and Wainea, lots of food options exist, and its not far from Kona or Hilo... best of everything! Kids will love the pool as will kids at heart! And there are mysteries to be discovered in the vast collection of books... and the discovery will lead to higher perspectives... loved it! Will be back with the kids one day, but this was the PERFECT place to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Thank you to Noelani and team for such a great property!

Our host has incredible communication skills. Easy to reach and so helpful if needed. The house is a total dream. The pool and the tunnel slide are a hit. The view, amenities, comfort, all amazing. This was our second year and we will be back. We’ve built some fantastic memories here. Mahalo!

We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs over the years, and this is hands down our favorite place we’ve ever stayed. From the house to the pool to the fabulous view from the lanai, it doesn’t get any better than this. Absolutely magical!!

We had an amazing time. The property is incredible. We were reluctant to stay on this part of the island, away from where we thought most things to do were, but we were wrong. The property is so amazing that we really didn't want to leave for excursions. We ended up relaxing, swimming, cooking, and just enjoying the amazing view. Honoka'a is a great town for provisions and the local fruit trucks and stands are great.

Perfect place!

The stay was perfect and was exactly as described in the listing. We love the location, the house and the Big Island. It’s hard to imagine ever coming back without staying at this beautiful house. The hosts were also very responsive and helpful. I couldn’t recommend this house any more!

The house was better than the listing. We’ve rented many nice houses on VRBO, but this was the crème de la crème. Great condition, well furnished and supplied. I would rent again in a heartbeat!

Amazing place for any group

The house and location are just as beautiful as presented, and the manager was very communicative and helpful and went out of her way to help us get the most out of our time there. Close to a cool little town but remote enough that you feel like you have the island to yourself when you’re in the yard. We watched dolphins leaping along the shore from the deck (high up but could still see them) and the walk to the beautiful beach and back up is not so bad if you’re reasonably fit!

Awesome house and view

This is our second stay here (last one was in 2014), having fallen in love with the house and view the first time. The house remains beautiful and well-kept, the view is still extraordinary, and Victoria was excellent at communicating with us (she went out of her way a couple of times to make sure we were happy). We spent nearly the entire stay at the house enjoying the pool and the view and enjoyed every minute of it.

Pure Magic

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Noelani thought of everything and was always available. The home had everything we needed. The view is incredible. The yard, the pool, slide, hot tub… We rode horses for a couple of days at Kahua Ranch, traveled mauka to makai on UTVs, and chilled at the house the rest of the time. We loved the birds, the frogs, and the mongoose. It was an excellent visit and we will definitely be booking Waipio Heaven again.

Best place I have ever stayed

We are a well traveled family and all agreed that this home was the nicest and best view we have ever had. Fully stocked kitchen, GORGEOUS views, mater suite that is amazing with and outdoor shower - all highlights for us. I don’t think words can express how much we enjoyed this home. We had many family dinners, played games and also did a fair amount of exploring. We did yoga cliff side, massage on the lower deck and truly soaked up the views. Thank you for an incredible week!!

Incredible views! Seeing it in person is just amazing. We had a group of 4 adults and 3 kids that stayed here and we all fit comfortably. Clean, spacious and a great, responsive host. The pool was also amazing! It was like finding a swimming hole in the middle of a rainforest and the slide was a hit for the kids. The outdoor shower in the master suite was one of my favorite parts of the house. I didn’t think I would like it but it was so relaxing out there, especially at night with the moon peeking through the trees. If you have younger kids, here are a few things to be aware of: the main house has the master bedroom and the “secret room”. We didn’t feel the secret room was a safe option for our youngest (steep stairs, mezzanine style loft with pony walls and very high bed). The other 3 bedrooms are accessed by walking outside across the patio. Great rooms over there! But if you’re wanting to stay in the master and kids to stay in other rooms, you’ll be separated. So keep that in mind when considering bedroom set up with younger kids. Other things to note: the little town of Honoka’a is cute but half the stores/restaurants were closed even during their “open” hours. You need to drive quite a bit to get to other things not right there in that very small town. You also need to drive to get to most beaches. The black sand beach that is right there was closed when we went unfortunately. Let’s be honest though, we didn’t want to leave this house very much anyways!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Hawaii. The property was spotless, beautifully furnished, and truly felt like a home away from home. The private pool was a standout feature—ideal for refreshing morning swims and tranquil afternoons. Surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, it provided a peaceful and private oasis. The house was incredibly spacious, with cozy bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful details that added to our comfort. Best of all, the actual views exceeded our expectations—they’re even more breathtaking than the photos suggest. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and recharge.
