Lovely getaway!

We had a great time here for Memorial Day weekend. The lake is beautiful and so much cool wildlife with loons, bald eagles, and herons in the dock. The sandy beach and swimming area is perfect for little kids.

Beautiful Getaway

The O'Neill's home and property is beautiful. The house was very clean and well stocked. The bedrooms where great and the sheets were amazingly soft. Communication was excellent. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Very Clean

Nice place, perfect for families with small children. Parking for snowmobile groups is a little tight but we made it work

O’Neill’s Paradise!

We cannot say enough about our stay at this wonderful home! It is so cozy and roomy! We were here over Christmas and it truly fit everyone’s wants and needs. Super comfortable furniture…and lots of it to lounge and read or sit and visit. Well stocked kitchen for our holiday meals. Tim was super easy to communicate with. Would stay again in a minute! Great property on a great lake. The town of Nevis is very close and has some fun things going on during the week if there is a rain day. You are also about 10 minutes from Park Rapids. The cabin itself is very roomy. I will advise there aren't a lot of adult beds. This cabin really caters to the young kids. The beach and outdoor areas are great for that! The bunk beds are a bit small for 6'0" and taller people. But for what we needed it was just fine. Your host is extremely on top of things and was great to work with. 10/10There are a host of things to occupy your down time at the lake. Would recommend staying here. 10/10. BB June 2026

We're so glad you and your family had such a great stay! Yes we have the 6 regular twin beds on the bunk beds but we also have the king bed in the loft, the two XL twin beds on the main floor, and the queen and full size bed in the basement. We try to have a variety of sizes so families of all heights are comfortable. We're happy to have shared our Lake Belle Taine lake home with you and your family!

Wonderful, comfortable, spacious!

This was the absolute perfect place to stay with a group of friends, to play games, relax, cook, and enjoy the lake. The cabin is large, well-appointed, and comfortable. The host was more-than-accommodating and communicative. I would definitely recommend it!

Birthday getaway

Awesome views, so much space for our party of 8, really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and deck, we had a great weekend made better by the cabin atmosphere. Thank you so much! Definitely a trip to remember

Perfect cabin for young kids

Given that it was late fall and we weren’t sure what the weather would be, this turned out to be a perfect cabin getaway that is very kid friendly. It’s a relatively short ride to lake itasca which is absolutely worth the trip. So many amenities here it would be an amazing cabin to visit in the warm months

Beautiful Home - Beautiful View

This home was everything it promised to be in the listing. It is welcoming, spacious, and comfortable. It was the perfect spot for our group of 9 to celebrate our 14th annual get together. The views from the deck are so beautiful! We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning taking it all in. We highly recommend this property - you won’t be disappointed!

As expected!

For our family with 4 young kids age 6 and under, they really provided everything needed to keep them entertained inside and outside. We appreciated the all the water toys and the accessibility of everything. The rooms were nice and gave us options for sleeping arrangements. Tim is great to communicate with, very prompt responses. We'd recommend this property!

Awesome Vacation

This property was perfect for our family. The lake was exceptional for wakeboarding and tubing. We had plenty of room and the house was fully stocked and well maintained. Communication with Tim was easy and extremely timely. There were no surprises with this rental. Everything was just as he stated. Thanks for everything Tim.

Beyond expectations

We had a small family gathering to celebrate our son’s 10 birthday. Since it was his second socially distanced birthday we wanted it to be special. This rental went well beyond our expectations. Tim was an outstanding host and communication before, during, and after our stay was easy and helpful. The rental was immaculate and was cleaned the day of our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked and made it easy to make great birthday feasts! There was still ice on the lake, but we loved waking up for beautiful sunrises and enjoying the view. We’d love to return in the summer to enjoy all that the lake home has to offer! Ping pong and the grand piano were favorites for the whole family! We had a wonderful time at this rental and can’t wait to return for summer time adventures!

Great fall get away!!

Fall fishing trip

We rented this place because it had 10 separate sleeping beds. It worked out great. Layout is nice and there was room to hang around the large dining table or spend some quite time in another room. We had 3 boats and could dock one and pull the others up on the beach located on the property. Caught enough fish for a fish fry on our last day. Our group has stayed at many places over the years and this one we can highly recommend. Thank you for sharing your lake home. Out group had a great time!

Great for families!

This property was perfect for our large family. It had everything our kids (1yr-7rs) might need and had plenty of space for everyone! We enjoyed waking up to watch the sunrise off the dock, fishing for sunnies on the lake and ending the night by the fire. Tim, the owner, was fantastic! We didn’t have any issues that needed addressing, but he was very responsive to all our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

End of Summer Trip

We had a wonderful time at this lake house! The lake is crystal clear and the outdoor space is ideal for large groups. Nice eating area on the deck and many additional nice added benefits for families with kids (indoor and outdoor toys). The fire pit, kayaks/paddle boat/canoe and ping pong was fun for the entire group. Tim is very responsive and welcoming. The house is very well set up with clear directions. One thing to consider is that some of the mattresses might need to be replaced. We would definitely look to potentially come back next summer!

Spring fishing trip

Place was excellent for our spring fishing trip. A lot of room everything in working order. New easy to walk stairs to the lake. Would be a great spot of large family with kids of all ages. Tim was easy to work with and responded to text quickly. A suggest Tim, add a 6 foot hose to your outside water for rinsing feet and proved a table for fish cleaning. Well be considered for a return stay.

Wedding Weekend in Minnesota

The O’Niell cabin is absolutely stunning! We had the pleasure of staying there while visiting Minnesota for a friend’s wedding. The location is perfect, close to several attractions and restaurants (start your day with a delicious breakfast at the Great Northern Cafe!) The house was incredible. The lot was much bigger than we thought from the pictures, truly breathtaking!! Looking out over the lake and watching the sunrise is such a peaceful way to start your day. Would stay there again, highly recommend this property for families of all sizes and ages. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Sandy shores

Property was beautiful. Pontoon rental was very convenient. Lake is clean with Sandy beaches. Golf course in Park Rapids was wonderful. Would definitely go back!
