Nyt tilbudt efter omfattende, smagfulde renoveringer, er vores meget charmerende lille vintage sommerhus (alder: 100 + år) en del af vores familieforbindelse i hjertet af Sonoma County's Wine Country. Kvarteret Burbank Gardens Historic District ligger 5 blokke syd for centrum af byen og er det perfekte udgangspunkt for besøgende at udforske vingårde, kysten, vandre- og cykelstier og bugten. Gåafstand til butikker, caféer, gallerier, teatre, parker og offentlig transport. Let motorvejsadgang. Tæt på Parkside Cafe, Spinster Sisters Restaurant, Astro Hotel, Julliard Park og The South of A (SOFA) Arts District.

Vi bor også på ejendommen i en 2. bygning, hvor vi haven, går, cykler og har vores kunststudio. Dette er et meget køligt og interessant byområde! Tjek Art Alley.

Patti is a terrific host! This was our third stay, and the place was even more perfectly set up than on previous visits. In the Santa Rosa winter, the heating in each room kept the cottage warm. The lighting is great, bed is super-comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped, and shower is delightful and stocked with toiletries and towels of every size. Everything works great, including the laundry in the outdoor area. The place is quiet, making it easy to sleep, work, read, and relax. We had a perfect stay, and look forward to returning to this cozy, colorful, and welcoming home away from home.

The home was very central to our stay, warm and inviting, clean and comfortable. Our host, Patti, was kind and helpful, and responded immediately to any request. Our stay was perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this home.

The cottage is charming and comfortable. It is located conveniently and its walking distance from a main attractions in downtown Santa Rosa. Patti is a great host and keeps the house clean and with all conveniences for a nice stay. I recommend this place 100%.

Great base in an interesting historic and artsy neighborhood central enough to enjoy everything Santa Rosa has to offer, even without a car. The cottage is nicely decorated, wonderfully comfortable, and equipped with all that you could need for a longer stay: full kitchen, 2 real bedrooms with ultra-comfortable beds, great shower and bathtub, washer and dryer, and lovely backyard area for sitting, sipping drinks, stowing bicycles, watching hummingbirds, and enjoying the breezes.Communication with Patti was friendly and seamless, and we felt right at home and, on leaving, already eager to return.

Great property for a visit to Santa Rosa

We loved the property and had a great experience in Santa Rosa! The location was perfect for us as it was walking distance to downtown. Everything was perfect and as advertised. We will stay here next time we travel to Santa Rosa and would recommend.

The Best Vacation Rental!

I have stayed at The Cottage multiple times and each stay gets better than the last! I can’t say enough good things about it: Safe & quiet neighborhood, great location, super clean, fully stocked, great patio, lovely front porch, communicative host and great little touches that make it feel like home. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back!

The property owner is amazing! The house had everything we could have wanted to make our stay comfortable and convenient. There is plenty within walking distance to see and do. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely little gem

Beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. Comfortable beds, great kitchen. Also appreciated the back patio which was nicely lit at night and wonderfully landscaped in front and back. Loved it!

A charming little place with all the comforts and conveniences one could wish for. The owner is super nice and helpful. The back yard is charming and beautifully lit at night. All 3 of us were happy and comfortable.

Stay at the Cottage

This cottage is clean, cozy but spacious, and in a great location for both walking around downtown Santa Rosa and driving around Sonoma County. It has a wonderful outdoor space and is fully stocked. Patty makes this place feel like a true home away from home. I will definitely be back!

The Old Cottage

The property was an excellent selection for our 4-night stay. So much nicer than a hotel. Very clean, well appointed with full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bath and nice den. Quiet neighborhood with on-site parking. The owner was delightful to visit with while we toured the back yard flower beds. Would certainly rebook in the future.

Absolutely Wonderful!

The cottage met and exceeded our expectations! Comfortable beds; very clean; very cute porch and patio. The neighborhood is walkable and safe. There is guest parking provided in front of the porch. We had the opportunity to speak with Patti a couple of times and she is delightful. I highly recommend this VRBO and if we ever find our way back to the Santa Rosa area again, I hope it is available.

Great little cottage near downtown SR!

I stayed at the cottage for two nights. Patti was a wonderful host! The cottage was very clean and well-equipped. The area is quiet and residential, but close to downtown and convenient to freeways. Folks with mobility issues should be aware of a large step down in the middle of the cottage, but it is well marked and wasn’t a problem for me. I would stay here again if I’m in Santa Rosa!

2nd Stay at the Cottage

It was my 2nd stay at the Little Old Cottage and it was even better than the first! This is one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed at and I can’t wait to come back again! Patti is a great hostess who pays attention to everything. The house has ample supplies and all of the little things that really make it feel like “home”. The location is great and is walking distance of downtown. Plus, you can’t beat morning coffee on the beautiful porch! Highly recommend!

Super spot in Santa Rosa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage in Santa Rosa. The cottage had everything we needed and was very well equipped in the kitchen although there are so many good places to eat. The neighborhood looks a little run down on initial impressions but feels very safe and is situated perfectly for accessing downtown. Definitely a case of not judging a book by it's cover. The porch is a super place to hang out and watch the neighborhood wander by. Beds are comfy and garden looks great but didn't take advantage of on this visit. All communications with host Patti were prompt and efficient. Would happily stay here again.

Cozy place

The property is fairly small but they make fairly good use of the space. I think that the neighborhood may be getting better as there are two buildings that look they are going to be replaced which should help the area a lot. One is an old style motor inn and it's hard to know what the other one was. that are currently boarded up and that's a really good thing for the neighborhood. Lots of places are walkable. Parking is really tight. Fortunately this place has a dedicated spot in the front yard. If it didn't have that, it would be really impossible to find a place to park because beyond that dedicated space, there is not much else without going out onto SR avenue. All things considered, it was a good spot for us to "hub" out of for the family event during that weekend. I think I would consider staying here again but just be advised that the place is pretty small and if you only have one car to park, you'll be ok. Really nice host. Great follow up and everything works. Kitchen is beautiful and if we had felt like cooking, it looks to be pretty well equipped for that.

Clean, comfortable property in good location. AC worked well and bed was comfortable. Plenty of room for two but could easily accommodate 4 if willing to share a bath.There is a well marked and lit step between living room and kitchen that takes some getting used to but we were fine. Could be an issue for someone with poor balance especially in middle of night.Good communication by host made everything easy. Overall a great experience!

We love living in town, although our neighborhood feels like the country, with giant redwoods, heritage oaks, and rambling cottage gardens. We garden, do a little light carpentry, bike, and volunteer with Meals on Wheels. We enjoy practicing the art of being hospitable, which we learned at the knee of our folks, who hailed from Texas, where nuestra casa es su casa!
