There was a very strong odor as soon as you open the door to the kitchen and living room area. One set of sheets was stained, or looked like someone had laid down on them. One towel had a mildew or old makeup on it.

Svar fra VrboOwner den 21. aug. 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Darlene. We’re sorry that these issues affected your stay. A strong odor is not typical for the suite. While our historic building’s original brick can occasionally have a distinct scent in the warmer, wet months, the strong odor you described is not the experience we expect for our guests. All sheets and towels are removed after every stay, professionally laundered off-site, and replaced with fresh linens before the next guest arrives. The condition you described is not our standard and should have been caught during the final inspection. We have addressed this with our housekeeping team to help prevent it from happening again. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

We had a terrific stay! The property was immaculate, with super cozy beds and a comfy seating area. The unit and building were quiet and we could relax and sleep well. The unit had a great kitchen and laundry to help us feel at home. The location was very convenient with tons of amazing restaurants, a corner store and coffee shop within easy walking distance. The center of the French Quarter, a supermarket and car rental were all about 15 minutes walk away. We loved our visit and would stay again in a heartbeat!

These accommodations are clean, comfortable, spacious, and centrally located. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom clean and new. The statement about parking in the listing was somewhat misleading, there is no onsite parking. Parking was on the street or a block away. It worked but would have preferred onsite parking. All-in-all, I’d stay here again and likely will. Highly recommend!

Thank you, Abigail, for the detailed review and for recommending us—it truly means a lot! We’re thrilled you found the space clean, comfortable, and well-located, and that you enjoyed the beds and overall setup of the home. We also appreciate your feedback regarding parking; we understand how important that can be. We have indicated in our listing details that we do not have onsite parking and we also inform all our guests if they ask regarding it so we we apologize for any confusion caused by our end. It is great to hear that you had a positive experience and would consider staying with us again—we’d be more than happy to host you on your next visit!

This place was PERFECT! We stayed for the weekend of Mardi Gras - it was a truly awesome location with great amenities. Very comfortable beds/linens and easy keyless access. They even waved the early check-in fee since it was Mardi Gras weekend, which was an awesome bonus. Cami checked in on us via text and was very available when needed for questions (which was hardly at all). Overall, this was a delightful unit (quiet and great bathrooms as well). I would absolutely stay here again!

Thank you, Lauren, for such an enthusiastic and detailed review. We’re thrilled that the condo, private terrace, and location made your Mardi Gras weekend so memorable, and that you found the beds, linens, and amenities especially comfortable. It’s wonderful to hear the keyless entry and early check-in accommodation added to a smooth arrival, and we’re glad Cami’s check-ins struck the right balance of attentive and unobtrusive. We truly appreciate your kind words about the space and would be delighted to host you again for your next New Orleans getaway.
