Just to mention that Budens is a typical Algarvian village, which has been very handy for our guests to buy provisions from the well stocked supermarket, and visit the local restaurants. However, the nearest town is Lagos, which is 15 kms away. This very popular bustling town has a wide array of shops, restaurants, cafes, a museum, as well as a beautiful promenade and marina. We provide every bathroom, including the poolside toilet, with soaps and toilet tissue. If you do decide to visit the Algarve again, we would be very pleased to have you stay. Dear Sue, thank you for your response. We're pleased you enjoyed your stay. However, we are unsure of your 'meaning 'basic bathrooms and beds,' as none of our guests, or returning guests, have ever mentioned this before. Our bathrooms are very well maintained and modern, and the third bathroom was completely refurbished just over two years ago. The beds are regular double and single sized with good mattresses and toppers, Kind regards, Kathy & Francisco

Santa Maria is a very private, secluded and spacious villa, and more than adequate to accommodate 2/3 families. The pool area is large, with ample space for children to run around and play. The paving around the pool has been checked and amended. We now have a seating area under the shade of the trees, outside the walls of the villa. It's lovely to go there if you just want to have some time to yourself to read, or just enjoy the peace and serenity. The villa is well situated, being close to Salema beach and amenities. Salema is a picturesque fishing village with a beautiful beach, and ample restaurants and cafes. However there are several outstanding beaches along this coastal strip to choose from. A great place for old and young alike to holiday.

Dear Marie Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We are very pleased you enjoyed the villa and surrounding areas, and had an enjoyable holiday. We have endeavoured to equip the kitchen for everything that one would need, or have in their own . The villa is self catering, and I feel to leave oil, and condiments out for approximately eight months would be unhygienic. You were a delight to deal with, and I hope you choose us again. Thank you for feedback Tommy, I do apologise for the problem with the hot water. It is regrettable that things can go wrong anywhere, anytime, and It’s unfortunate you didn’t contact myself or speak with Nazare regarding the hot water problem in the ground floor bathroom. When you left Nazare noticed this, and it was literally repaired in minutes. The water pressure in the villa is very good, the problem can occur when there is a mains burst, which will effect all the houses in the area. Best regards, Kathy & Francisco
