Great location, and stay. The complex is next to the whalers village which is very noisy , specifically in the morning with trucks backing up and compressors and power sprayers, this was very annoying !

Large unit with a great location and very clean! You can use the elevator to get to the beach or walk down three floor and be right there.

This property is difficult for me to review because there were a lot of pros and cons for us. Overall I do feel satisfied, but I am not sure I would stay here again. The cost felt fairly premium, and I am just not sure it felt “premium”, to me.Pros:- lots of stuff to borrow and use in the room for kids (high chair and pack and play, beach toys), beach with the lounge chairs and umbrella, floaty, and general kitchen stuff like plates and cups and cleaning supplies (sponge, soap, paper towels, stain remover, Kleenex etc).- good tv and entertainment options for kids too- great space for a family and all that comes with it.- great location/resort and pool as well as washer and dryer on the floor as well as cart to bring up groceries- this is definitely a unit built for a family with kiddos and I do really appreciate that.Cons:- cooking in the kitchen was almost impossible with the state of the cookwear- lots of stains on the carpet and not in great shape.- Deck lounge chair was missing straps under where your butt rests (i.e very uncomfortable).

Fantastic place in Ka’anapoli

It was the first time we stayed at the Whaler and we really enjoyed it. The place is well maintained and the service is fantastic. It’s well situated just beside the Whaler Village with all his stores and restaurants

Outstanding location

The Kaanapali beach location is the best of Maui. The Whaler is outstanding for ease of access to everything you need to relax.

Good property at an amazing location

We enjoyed our stay in this property . This is very good place at a great location. The morning and evening views from the patio is super. The whaler village is just next door with lots of good eating and shopping options. Property is clean and well maintained

We liked everything about this property. Beautiful condo, clean and safe. On the beach and close to restaurants and shopping which are literally just steps away. I would definitely recommend!

Great stay

We really enjoyed our time at the Whaler. The unit was great with everything you need at your fingertips, from kitchen to beach stuff! Great view of the water and we could listen to the sounds of the waves rolling in. Restaurants and shops are just a few steps away which just makes this a great location. Look forward to coming back!

This is a beautiful Condon great beach and sunset views. Perfect location and quiet. Nice beach and pool area. Great for the 3 of us. Thank you for putting us up.

Wonderful Week @ the Whaler!

My family enjoyed the stay at the spacious, updated unit at the Whaler Ka’anapali. Place was as presented, warm and welcoming! Great location and friendly front desk staff. Just a short walk to our hosts’ place at the Westin Resort which is separated by a great shopping mall, all right off the ocean! Would recommend booking!

Amazing!

The whole property is immaculate! Quick three minute walk to restaurants and shops at Whalers Village. Our rental was up to date and clean. The kitchen is perfect. We had a great view of sunsets from the lanai. We highly recommend.

The Whaler 359 is absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. You are literally steps from the beach and the Whaler Village where you can find shopping, food, and a general store. Bring your snorkel equipment and enjoy black rock which is a very nice place to snorkel (you can see if from The Whaler). Great view of the beautiful sunset each night, I would defiantly recommend The Whaler and I would stay here again when I return to Maui.

Great location

PROS The location is wonderful - close to many great restaurants shops. Grounds are pretty and pristine. The unit is spacious and fully equipped.CONS No washroom facilities at the pool - seemed very strange! The sofa in the unit was really dirty and stained - kinda gross.
