Brignogan-Plages is a small seaside resort on the Côte des Légendes in Finistère. A land rich in tradition, its coastline—dotted with strangely shaped rocks—seems straight out of a fantasy tale. This town has managed to preserve its old-world charm with its beautiful seaside villas.
The authentic, untamed bay bordering the town welcomes many migratory birds every year… but that’s not all. Lovers of board sports and other activities are just as fond of the area.
A must-see: the little Pontusval lighthouse. First lit in 1869, it’s a real star! It’s the most photographed lighthouse in Europe
Not far from there, the Pol Chapel (1870) stands among enormous boulders topped by a watchtower. Between these two landmarks lies a “dragon’s egg”
A little further on, you can also admire “Le Men Marz,” a Christianized menhir eight meters high
As the resort’s name suggests, there’s no shortage of beaches: those at the lighthouse, Pors Paol, Les Chardons Bleus, Le Bilou, Les Crapauds, Le Petit Nice, and Le Lividig. The bay, which opens up widely at low tide, is ideal for beachcombing (G34), scuba diving, and water sports.
Mini-golf, biking, tennis, archery—there’s no shortage of sports and recreational activities.
And “where is the vacation rental?” you might ask! Well, it’s right across from the Chapelle Pol. We’ll welcome you whether you’re traveling with friends or family.
