No notes! My family of 4 had a complete blast. Everything was exactly as pictured and described. Such a beautiful lake - so clear! Only wish we’d stayed longer. Ryan is a great host - very fast communication. We had zero issues during our stay.

Really nice setup. The open space on the top floor has great views of the lake and is very pleasant. The bottom floor tv area is cozy for 2. Great variety of lake toys. Clear water off the dock. Fire pit area is nice. Most significant drawback is a single bathroom.

We had a wonderful time at this charming lakehouse. We had everything that we could possibly need - from shower supplies to life vests to DVDs and games to a paddleboard. Our whole family loved our time here!

Perfect lakeside getaway!

We loved our stay here! The property is super quiet and remote, and the house itself was well-stocked and very clean. Would definitely book again.

Very comfortable stay

Enjoyed our time at the Beach Bungalow. Very comfortable and clean. Lake was amazing. Had a great time. Could use a knife set and a grill upgrade.

Just What We Needed

The view from the cabin is unbeatable. A great staycation for us on a gorgeously clear lake. Perfect swimming.

Beautiful waterfront cabin

Ryan was so accommodating. His cabin has a beautiful view of Lake Sylvia. We enjoyed watching the loon family. The crystal clear water is stunning. We brought our boat and caught fish too...

Amazing Fall getaway!!!

We had the best Fall getaway at this awesome cabin! The lake was outstanding! Clearest water ever. We enjoyed the view, fire on the patio and several Fall hikes on trails nearby. The weather was Fall like but we got out the kayaks. We also enjoyed everything Annandale had to offer. Great small town! We highly recommend thiis cabin!

The property is beautiful, has great views and plenty of toys for the kids. The kids caught sunfish from the dock, and really enjoyed the lilypad for swimming. Ryan and his wife are great hosts. The only downside is the 38 steps down to the house, but the stairs are well lit and gradual (also the weather was super hot and then cold and rainy, but the hosts have nothing to do with that, it's just Minnesota in the summertime, variable.) We've been there a couple years in a row and enjoyed it both times. Thanks!

If we could, we’d live here!!!

We had a wonderful time here! The weather was warm so we got to swim and kayak. We also were able to just unwind. The view is amazing and the sound of the waves reminded me of Hawaii! We would love to wake up every day here :) Also, we went in a hike and enjoyed the nature parks nearby. We will definitely come again!! Thank you Ryan for being so helpful with the little questions I had here and there!

Beautiful Stay

We had a great time at the lake house. We came from out of state to see family and friends, everyone had a wonderful time and the lake is just so clean and very beautiful, would very much recommend. Our only issue was the lower deck, we thought we would be able to use it with visiting family and friends but the whole deck is on a slope and part of it broken and not walkable, that was a little disappointing as we were counting on that space to entertain visitors. Other than that, the place was great!

Beautiful house on a beautiful lake

This house was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed using the kayaks on the clearest lake we’ve ever seen. Some of the other things we enjoyed…fishing right off the dock, listening/watching the loons, making bonfires nightly, going into Annandale to antique shop, playing board games with the most fantastic view of the lake and just enjoying a very peaceful and quiet location on the lake. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect setting. Lovely breeze. Never had to use ac even though it was 100 degrees in Minneapolis. Directions to use TV were not present. An amazing array of water sports, though we were too old to use them.

Incredible Views and Beautiful Property

My wife and I travelled to MN to visit her family and spend a long weekend at the cabin. It was exactly as shown in the pictures. The inside is designed perfectly and the view of the lake is incredible. All the beds were comfortable and kitchen was spotless. The outdoor area has lots of seating and is spacious and the lake is stunning. The owner Ryan provides kayaks and water activities, as well as corn hole and ladder golf. All much appreciated. Ryan was quick to respond to all my questions and was amazing to deal with. Huge thank you Ryan for being so accomodating to all our requests. Highly recommend!

Clean and cozy with lots of water toys

We enjoyed our stay, especially the comfy couches and beds, great view, place to dock our boat, clean water and numerous water toys available to use as part of the rental (lily pad, kayaks, paddle board) as well as yard games and board games and numerous seating areas. The 3rd 'bedroom' probably wouldn't qualify for a real estate listing, so be aware it's just a bed in the the family room on the lower level with no door for privacy from the upstairs (accessible via spiral stair case). This didn't bother us since we only needed two bedrooms for our stay anyway, but just a heads up. Also, the cabin is down about 30 steep steps from the parking area, so be prepared for that if you have anything heavy or awkward to carry or mobility issues (frequent trips to load and unload the truck gave us a quad workout).

Lakeside Family Vacay

The East Lake Sylvia Cabin was perfect for our summer vacation to MN. The house was well-appointed and the hosts were very kind and available. The location of the house was directly on the shore of East Lake Sylvia, swimming and watersports were perfect! Not to mention the weather was "a million dollar week", undoubtedly arranged by our gracious hosts :) Our group consisted of me and my partner, two kids11 and 8, and my parents. The cabin with its 3 bedrooms housed us all comfortably and there were additionally 3 couches inside. The only issue we had wasthe stairs down to the cabin from the road and parking area, which were a concern for my older parents. But we were careful and managed the 39 steps when needed and kept them completely off the spiral staircase inside. Beyond the house, the area was lovely and the neighbors super friendly. We rented a boat and it was so much fun to explore the lake and tube with the kids. I would highly recommend renting this cabin and hope I get a chance to stay there again myself!

We enjoyed this sweet spot. The lakeside view was delightful. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the water by either swimming, floating, paddling or fishing. The deck gives a place to enjoy the sunshine or find shade. If indoors, the windows can be opened to feel the breeze and hear the waves and loons. You can easily get your steps in with the 38 stairs from your parking spot to the cabin door. Thankfully we had some strong young people who carried our luggage. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great little getaway right on the water! The house was clean and comfortable for our entire family. We enjoyed the dock area and the open living room area. A few things to be aware of - there are 38 steps down from parking to the front door and then more steps down to the lake. It was fine for us, but would not work well if you have mobility issues. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs and is an open room with no door to close. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a great week on the lake. The views are amazing and the lake was quiet!
