Family Stay

Lovely bungalow with great views, nice and spacious, plenty of room for everyone. Spotlessly clean throughout, plenty of storage in bedrooms. Fantastic shower. Well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Would definitely stay again if visiting North Devon.

Fantastic property in great location

This was our second visit to High View and everything was as good as last time. Helen's communicaiton prior to the visit was great, the house is a perfect base to explore the local area from as it's a 5-10 minutes drive to Saunton Sands or 15 minutes to Croyde beach, 25 minutes into Barnstaple and a 10 minute walk into Braunton itself. We'd happily visit again.

Gorgeous property with amazing views. Everything you could need little things like not having to wash up for there to be enough plates for your next meal make all the difference. The children loved the outdoor shower.

Nice well equipped house in quiet location but within easy distance of everything you need. Deck is nice for a quiet drink in the warm weather at the end of a day out . Braunton makes a great base to explore the north west Devon area. Helen was really helpful and made the whole stay very easy and stress free. Thankyou

Exactly as described and more

Beautifully decorated clean house, everything you would need throughout your stay.Amazing host, nothing is too much trouble...Stunning views from decking/terrace.Excellent location for visiting all local beaches and exploring village of Braunton which has a lot to offer.Don't miss fantastic sunsets from Crow point and Baggy Point!

Fantastic property, host and location

We had a fantastic stay at High View (despite some typically British weather) and Helen couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The house is very well equipped, with little touches from Helen such as including products for the dishwasher & washing machine making the stay so much easier. Our children (3 and 6) thoroughly enjoyed their stay, as did we, and the property is walkable (down a steep set of steps) into Braunton. Saunton Sands is a mere 8 minutes drive away and Barnstaple approx. 20 mins for larger shops, indoor activities for kids in bad weather etc. We would happily stay again and highly recommend both High View as a property and Helen as a host.

Beautiful Holiday Home

Our family stay at Hill View was great the property is perfectly located to Braunton Town centre and breath taking beaches are all a short drive away. A wonderful break away.

Excellent holiday cottage

We had a fantastic time staying at this holiday cottage in Braunton. It’s a lovely property, very well equipped and excellently located. It was the perfect base to explore many local beaches including Croyde, Woolacombe, Saunton Sands and Westwood Ho! From the property it was an easy, traffic free, walk into Braunton. The decking was ideal to relax on while admiring the views. Helen was a great host, who provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. We look forward to returning in the future. Lovely Autumn stay

High view is a great base for the area. Close to all the key beaches - we managed the sea every day. Clean, comfortable and well equipped house. Many thanks for a lovely time!

Lovely property situated in a nice quiet part of Braunton,

Property was ideally situated, up in the hills overlooking Braunton. It had been kept lovely and clean. All the amenities you need, can even use their chairs and surfboards for the beach. Would definitely recommend this property. We are hoping to go back again next year. Thank you Helen for a lovely stay.

Summer in devon

The property was very lovely and perfectly positioned. The kitchen is so modern and has been very carefully thought out, we lacked nothing. It was a very comfortable stay.

Lovely bungalow - spacious, comfortable, warm & welcoming

The bungalow is in immaculate condition with everything you could want (except a teapot - so we bought one and left it for others!). Very comfortable and well laid out. Excellent shower over the bath. The decking area was great, like having another room. Braunton is a lovely village with local shops and some great restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The museum is well worth a visit, very small but with a varied collection. We'd recommend both Braunton and High View.

Great little bungalow

We stayed here for a week so the children could learn to surf. The bungalow is in a great location-5 mins to the small town of Braunton, there are enough places to eat here for a week so no need to drive. It was a ten mins drive to the beach- Saunton-this is one of the nicest beaches I have been to, not too busy and a beach cafe and toilets. The bungalow is immaculate and felt like home the minute we walked in.

Beautiful house and location....perfect!!

The property is lovely, very well equipped, clean and modern. It's location is ideal with lovely views, 5 minutes walk into the village and 5-10 minute drive to numerous beautiful beaches. Ideal for a family with a nice outdoor space. We will definitely return. It was perfect. Thanks you!

Fantastic well-kept property in great location with beautiful view

We had a fabulous week at High View. The property has been thoroughly modernised and is very well kept. The view from the living room, bedroom and decking was beautiful, and it was great to sit out with a drink after the kids had gone to bed. There were some very nice touches, such as the welcome bottle of wine and coffee, and communicating with the owner was a pleasure. We are surfers and the outside shower made de-sanding kids and wet-suits really easy, and the storage for surf boards was great too. You can walk to the centre of Braunton in around ten minutes and drive to the great beaches at Saunton and Croyde in about the same time. We did not want to leave at the end of our week, and so hope to go back!

Lovely bungalow in a great location. Very comfortable with everything you need.

We loved the location great base for visiting the surrounding area. The verandah is a great place to sit and relax and take in the views. Added bonus is the garden area which was great for catching the evening sun. Helen the owner has made the bungalow very welcoming including the bottle of wine on arrival. Nice walk down to the village with some great places to eat especially Squires fish restaurant.

Fantastic place to stay in Braunton

Had a fantastic stay at High View! It was immaculately clean and there was everything you could need. The decking overlooking Braunton provided some nice outside space and being able to walk into the centre was great! Helen was a joy to deal with and made our stay so easy! Thankyou! Would highly recommend!
