The location was central and easily accessible to the beach and the boardwalk. The pool was beautiful with exceptional oceans views and very friendly bar staff. The second bathroom cylinder sink lacked surface space for placement of personal items and additional bars for towels. Beach towels would be appreciated. The hot toilet water in the second washroom was unexpected.

This condo has a great location and an amazing roof top pool. We had to move from another property in PV to Pier 57 on the day of the cartel insurgency. The staff at Pier 57 were great, allowing us early access to the unit so we could have shelter from what was happening on the streets. We ended up having a wonderful time over our 2 week stay. Evander and the rest of the pool bar staff were amazing and so much fun!

Excellent for groups and Great Location

The rooftop pool and view was spectacular, with excellent staff who made sure we were taken care of. The location near the Los Muertos Pier was a huge plus. Communication between the host and our group was open and easy… we will definitely keep this in mind if/when we visit Puerto Vallarta!

Killer rooftop pool!

Nice new property with a great rooftop pool. Paying directly at the property to the host was wierd as I thought it should go through VRBO. GREAT LOCATION!

Pier 57 has very nice amenities including its rooftop pool and is in a great location. Can’t complain about that. But the balcony in our room was under construction which meant we were unable to use it our entire stay and the host never communicated this to us before our arrival. Additionally when we arrived we found an active camera in the room. The host messaged us and said that this was a mistake and the cameras were only meant to be there for unoccupied units and said they would come by and pick it up however they never did so which made us uncomfortable. We would rent at Pier 57 again but we would look for a different unit, there are plenty of others available in this building.

Great location and pool, modern space

We enjoyed a six night stay here, and were thrilled with the proximity to the beach, the Malecon, restaurants, and night life. The area felt safe and inviting. The condo/home was bright and modern with huge windows and a charming balcony. We made use of the washer/dryer and enjoyed having a second bathroom. The highlight of the stay had to be the stunning rooftop pool area. Certainly a gathering place for people in the building, we enjoyed the views and the friendly bar service (10a-10p). Host communication was timely and helpful, and we were greeted promptly upon our arrival for a tour and to get our keys. When we return to PV, this property will be at the top of our list.

nice unit in a great building

Pier 57 is an excellent building -- one of the city's best rooftops with large pool and tended bar, elegant units, helpful staff, perfect location. This particular unit has a city view and looks out over what seems to be a common area of the adjoining property, which sometimes has some noise (although sometimes pleasant noise, like decent music). So those looking for 24/7 ocean views or 24/7 quiet might want to choose a different unit, but I did not find the occasional noise to be a problem, and I found the rooftop and daily visits to the nearby beach to afford plenty of great views.

one word - WOW

I booked this vacation rental in Puerto Vallarta for my 30th birthday, and it was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had the most stunning views of the ocean and surrounding mountains. The private pool was perfect for relaxing, and the outdoor space made every sunset feel magical. The location was ideal—close enough to town for great food and nightlife, but still peaceful and private. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure every detail was perfect, even surprising us with birthday touches that made me feel so special. Every room was comfortable, spacious, and felt like a luxury resort. My friends and I made memories that will last a lifetime, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate this milestone. I’ll absolutely be coming back—this place is a dream! Highly, highly recommend.

Good Stay and Will be Better next time

My past stays thru VRBO were pretty seamless from reservation to payment and communicating with the PMs. This time was different as the Pier 57/ALILA have their own system. The PMs should prompt their guests for payment and information on how to pay from the time of reservation. -Also when to pay the security deposit as their online check in was requesting $1000USD after I already paid it. Late check in seemed very difficult as well, but it was a busy weekend and the front desk security do not seem engaging as other properties I've stayed at nearby. The condo, location, and pool were amazing and worth the stay.

Enjoyable Stay at Pier 57

The property is in a great location, very easy to walk to the Malecon, restaurants, the beach, etc. The pool and property were very clean and well maintained. The pool was relaxing, ample seats in the sun and shade. The service at the pool was great, able to order drinks and food which is a nice amenity to have. The condo was also very clean and was stocked with what we needed for glassware and utensils. We would suggest allowing each person in the room to have a key card as not everyone left together or went back to the condo at the same time some days/nights. The second bathroom in our condo would benefit from having some shelves added by the sink or a basket system under the sink as there was no where to put any of our bathroom items therefore all of our stuff sat on the floor with a few items on the soap holder and small edge of the sink. Aside from that we would stay at Pier 57 again.

Great location

Location was great. Fatima was incredibly responsive. The place was nice, clean, comfortable bed, nice place overall. A little noisy with people coming and going but management was good about making sure the house rules were abided.
