Norway Hus er et perfekt sted at slappe af og nyde din ferie.

Interiøret byder på masser af naturligt lys med et stort køkken, 1/2 bad og vaskerum, køkken spiseplads og spisestue, alrum og separat stue, der fører ovenpå til tre soveværelser og fuldt bad. Det store soveværelse og bad på det første niveau er rummelige og luksuriøse. Smukt indrettede, men alligevel Door County afslappet møbler og indretning gør dette hus specielt.

Den skovklædte have er også stor! Et dæk med bord og stole, grill og et ildsted, samt plads til gårdspil til familiens sjov. En kort gåtur ned ad Anderson Lane til Eagle Harbor, restauranter, bibliotek, butikker, bådhavn og lancering og offentlig strand er en ekstra fordel. En stor lukket veranda tilbyder et skjule-seng og spillebord.

Great house for bigger families

We had a great stay in Ephraim! The layout of the house was great for multiple families with a king bed and en-suite on the main floor and the other rooms and full bath upstairs. We really enjoyed spending time in the backyard - grilling, having a fire, sitting on the deck. The setting is very private and we enjoyed the roughly 15 minute walk to “downtown” Ephraim. The house felt a bit dated, but it was like being at grandma’s house. We’d go back!

Friends Getaway

Beautiful home, lovely views of the fall colors of trees from the front porch, spacious and comfortable rooms. Comfortable beds and very clean!! Had a wonderful visit in Ephraim

Charming!

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Norway Hus! Not only is this a prime location with close proximity to Ephraim, Peninsula Park and Fish Creek, the home is VERY clean and well stocked. We visited with grandparents and adult children and there was plenty of room to spread out for everyone. The property manager was easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. We will be back!

Great stay!

We enjoyed the home very much! It has a spacious kitchen, allowing us to cook and share meals together. Bedrooms were comfortable. Firepit was nice to use. Good location to everything in the county. Owners were quick to respond to all communication. We all enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank YOU!

Wonderful Door County Stay

This house was perfect for our family’s get-together. It was immaculately clean and spacious, and its location was perfect for our family—near Ephraim’s Anderson Dock and near the delightful country roads. We just loved it!

Lovely and very spacious home located in an ideal spot in Ephraim

This is a lovely home and has much more space than the photos show. Everything was very clean. Very comfortable beds too which made for a very restful sleep alter spending all day outdoors. Everything you need is provided. Excellent yard for the kids to play plus a fire pit! We loved the back deck. Close enough to walk to the Ephraim Yacht Club, restaurants, water, etc.We definitely recommend.this home.

Ephraim Getaway

Large property with a Tranquil setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck and watching various wildlife; rabbits, deer, squirrels and birds. It was close enough to the town to be able to walk everywhere. The house was fully stocked for cooking meals. The beds were comfortable.

Door County Get-away

This property looks "vintage" on the photo, but is very updated and modern on the inside. It's very spacious with three separate sitting/living/dining room areas, a large kitchen and four bedrooms. It's exceptionally clean. Plenty of towels are available, coffee and filters. Bring your own spices if you're planning to cook. Lots of outdoor space if you have a large group. Our group of four friends enjoyed our visit to this property very much. We would definitely return.

Lovely Stay

Girls trip with 6 women. Lovely space. Deer spotted multiple times in the yard. Bring your charger blocks, no USB charger ports available. Looking forward to staying here again.

Great house in a beautiful location and pet friendly!

Our family stayed in this lovely home and loved the house, yard and location. We were close to all the Door County place we enjoy. The house is located in a quiet, wooded area that's within walking distance to downtown. Super comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and cozy areas for the family to gather.

Great place to relax.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay with no noise this is it. Quick drive to Sister Bay for shopping and dining. Large bedrooms and plenty of room for an extended family and friends.

Great stay!

The property was perfect for our family of five and two dogs, with plenty of space for everyone and good WiFi for those of us who had to work. The dogs loved having room to run around outside, too. The house was thoughtfully equipped, and everything we needed could be found in a drawer or cabinet. It’s about a 15 minute walk into Ephraim, which we did several times, or a short drive into either Ephraim or Sister Bsy. I would absolutely stay again. It would be GORGEOUS in the fall with the leaves changing.

Perfect for us

Very pleased with Norway Hus. Found the house incredibly clean with tons of space downstairs to stretch out. Host was very responsive. Shops, restaurants and beach in Ephraim were easily accessible. We really enjoyed our stay!

Door County Charmer

My brother and I grew up coming to Door County but hadn’t been back with our young families since. We all absolutely loved staying at Norway Haus. The location was perfect, being close enough for a quick drive into town and also centrally located for exploring all of Door County. We loved the large property for lawn games (we brought our own croquet set) and the kids had space to throw a frisbee, kick the soccer ball and run around. We spent lots of time on the back deck and enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife including deer, wild turkeys, and a porcupine. The beds were comfortable and the enclosed front porch was great for late night adult cards and games as not to disturb the sleeping house.

Ephraim with familia

Ephraim is a great location for Door County. Kind of a midpoint on the peninsula for our activities. Norway Hus was a perfect location about a half mile walk to Rt 42, it is very quiet yet close to the action. Kristy was a most considerate host, and I can’t recommend her enough.

Family get together

This was our first experience in Door County. The area was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. This was a family get together with our adult children, seven total. The house was perfect. First off it was very clean. There is more than enough room with the size of the house for everyone to spread out between the living room, front porch and tv room. We did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen very well stocked with most everything we needed. The house was well supplied with towels, bathroom items, cleaning supplies, washing machine, etc. The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows and blankets. The yard has a nice deck, grill, fire pit, fire wood and room for the dogs to run. The neighbors are a decent distance away giving us privacy. The house was very homey. It’s a short walk to town, but it is downhill. We enjoyed long walks, biking, miniature golf, hanging in the yard in our hammocks and playing with the dogs. We couldn’t have had a better rental. It’s a wonderful place for a sizable group.

Lovely home for a family gathering

Located in a quiet forested residential neighborhood this home was the perfect place for a summer vacation. Large trees shaded a lawn for kids to play while adults relaxed on a backyard patio or large front parch. There is a large well equipped kitchen, den/TV room, large dinning room as well as a front sitting room. Every room is tastefully decorated to add to a welcoming, peaceful atmosphere, We can’t wait ro come back.

Relaxing oasis

Very easy check in. The property is off the beaten path, very peaceful but still close the everything. Great morning walk down to the waterfront. Grandkids loved the big yard and fire pit. Everything you need is there. Very well kept up, comfy beds, kitchen well equipped. Loved the master bed retreat away from the other bedrooms.

Excellent home, excellent location.

We rented the Norway Hus for our annual family trip to Door County. We had a fabulous time. It’s an older home, with all the charm that goes with the home of that era, but with all modern conveniences. It was so clean, comfy, and cozy, and a perfect location. Brad, the host, communicated well. We’d definitely come back!

We spent a wonderful week surrounded by sweet peas in a very beautiful space....inside and out. We could bike to popular sites and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Host had thought of everything to make our stay fun and easy.

Norway Hus is a real gem!

Highly recommended for your stay while visiting Door County. Among the many great features we enjoyed were the three separate living/family rooms - each with it's own charm and furnishings. The wide carpeted stairs made for easy access to second floor. All beds and furnishings were very clean and comfortable. Kitchen is spacious with big island bar and stools and well stocked cabinets with nice, clean dishware, pots and pans and small electrical appliances. We easily walked to Ephraim with small kids in stroller. It's obvious a lot of loving, expert craftsmanship went into the refurbishing of this unique older house which is decorated with a variety of interesting artwork and furniture. It was a real treat to call this place home during our stay in beautiful Door County.

We are life-long residents of Door County and have raised our two daughters here. We purchased this house from a family who summered here for about forty years. This house has so much character and the yard offers a private retreat for family and friends.

There are several spacious rooms to do a variety of activities, whether it is to read, be artistic, or focus on exercise, there are spaces to enjoy those things. The kitchen and dining areas flow out to a spacious deck and yard area, which will bring the group together for many great memories.
