We absolutely loved our six night stay. This is a cozy, comfortable cottage. Efficient. Every thing works, is well placed, even the bedside lamps on the wall. We slept well. We really enjoyed the patio. Story is a great location, in the middle of the foothills of the Big Horns. Tisha went above and beyond to help us out when our car broke down. If/when we return to do more hiking, we are staying here.

Lovely house & thoughtful host

Great house, very well kept with lots of thoughtful touches provided by the host. Location between Buffalo and Sheridan was ideal for our stay.

Church volunteer group

Our stay here was incredible. The property was beautiful, and the town was breathtaking. I strongly recommend anyone wanting to stay in Story to choose this property to stay in!

Very nice stay

Great spot for a group of guys hunting. Close to state land. Clean and well equipped for a stay of short or long period.

Peaceful cottage

The cottage was very clean and decorated with a designer’s touch. It made a great base camp for exploring the surrounding area. We enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again.

Big Horn Forest Adventure

This was a cute cottage with a great central location to our outdoor activities. The outdoor spaces to barbecue sit around the firepit and relax on the patio were great. Tisha provided everything you could have possibly needed! Great place to stay!!

Cozy convenient modern cabin

Unbelievable location convenient to everything. Cabin & amenities exceeded description. They have thought of every need a guest may want and more. The decor was perfect and kitchen well stocked for cooking all meals. I would book again next year!

Cozy cabin

Wonderful place to stay! Very clean and well kept! All necessities needed for a home away from home! Gracious hosts Tricia & Dean.. checking in to see if we needed anything and will to accommodate our requests 🙂 Will definitely stay in here again when in Story, WY and Big Horn Mountain area!

Wonderful little cottage!

The cottage had everything we needed for our vacation get away to the Big Horn mountains. The location was great! We enjoyed the decor, the games, the wrap around patio. Walking distance to a great little bar and grill. Loved all the extra touches. We hope to return soon!

Lovely Cottage

Very cute and well appointed property with very tasteful interior touches. The covered deck outside is very nice and spacious. Incredibly comfortable and Tisha was very prompt in her communication. Also, nice extra bathroom necessities priovided and treats in the kitchen!

No air conditioning!!

We had booked for 4 nights. No where in the description did it say cabin did not have air conditioning.It was 98 degrees when we arrived and when I asked about ac was told that is what the fans are for and leave the windows open at night. If that would have been in description we would not have booked.I would have thought in this day and time air conditioning would have been in any summer rental. We only stayed the one night and were not offered any of our money back. Didn’t expect all the money back but only staying one night of 4 booked it would have been nice. When asked about the ac was told no one had ever complained before. Hard to believe. Lesson learned.

Hi James, we were sorry to hear that you decided not to stay with us, and leave early. Nowhere in our amenities does it show that we have a.c.. If you look at all of our reviews, you will see that no one has ever had a complaint. It was the hottest day we had this summer the day you checked in, and the thermostat inside the house still showed it was cool in the house (78*)...

Pretty little cottage at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains. There were no surprises on check-in. Everything was as described. Will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Story, Wyoming!

Couldn't ask for more!!

Majestic! The cottage is one of a kind. Beautiful stone work, decorated with warmth, spacious and cozy. The owners put a lot of thought and work into it. I would definitely recommend this for a couples get away or a family vacation. There is an outside feature that is so realistic but I will let you find out that feature on your own. The surrounding scenery is breath taking and lots of wildlife to view.

Bighorn Getaway

If you’re looking for a cozy getaway minutes from the Bighorns, this is your place. The cabin is nothing short of amazing and has all your needs taken care of. The hosts are very responsive and will take good care of you.

This house is rustic (but new) and fits the area. Story is just beautiful! The home was well stocked with amenities and very clean. Tisha your host is close by if needed and was very kind and helpful.

This was a great place to stay while visiting Sheridan. The drive is only 20 minutes away.

What a wonderful place to stay. The cottage has everything you need to relax after a long day. A full kitchen, laundry and patio to enjoy the beautiful July nights had us feeling like it was a home away from home.
