This house was exactly as described though it's hard to put into words just how great it is! Surprisingly spacious with plenty of rooms for everyone, including on the TWO outside decks/porches that wrap around the front and side of the house. My wife and I loved enjoying our morning coffee on the top porch while looking out to the ocean while the kids/teens enjoyed the "lower deck". Location is incredible - SO easy to get to the beach with plenty of room to pitch our umbrellas and enjoy time in the Gulf. We forgot something a time or two and it literally took 10 minutes to go back, get the item(s), and be back on the beach...VERY convenient!Then there's Seaside and all the food trucks / restaurants. Very walkable to get into "town" (10 minutes) and enjoy all the Seaside has to offer.Between the beach, good food, shopping, and just a great place to relax, our vacation at this home is one we won't ever forget and one we're likely to want to try again!

AMAZING

This house was absolutely perfect. The beds were so comfortable with top notch blankets and pillows. The bikes were such an amazing touch. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect! Only steps away from a beach access point. And it was only a couple of blocks walk to the town Square where everything happens! The house fit our entire family, and we have room for more had they been invited. The kitchen was more equipped than any I have ever seen. I don’t believe there was a thing we needed that we could not find in that kitchen! Although we did not use the bikes, there were six available for our use there. Our golf cart was waiting at the property when we arrived, and picked up the day we left. The pool was heated as requested and my grandchildren really enjoy it. My only suggestion is that they update the description of “where you will sleep“ and the pictures. The second bedroom on the main floor was described as having one double bed and a set of bunkbeds. The pictures also indicated this. In actuality, there were two sets of bunkbeds in that room. We made it work, but had kind of planned around the set up shown in the pictures. We would definitely stay at this property again! We had a great time and the space was perfect for our family.

Great location

Overall, nice stay. I had read the other reviews and would say it's all pretty accurate. Construction is all over the area, so it didn't bother us (I'm not sure you can find a street in the Seaside area without construction - try Watercolor, which is mostly now developed, so there is less construction). But we preferred being able to walk across the street to the beach, easy bike ride to tennis courts/playground, easy walk to the amphitheater. It's really a 5 bedroom - downstairs bunk room would be ok for teens, but not overly comfortable and would be tough for younger kids. Having bikes was helpful - had an issue with 1 and they sent someone to replace the next day, so very responsive. The ping pong table has a lot of bumps on it so the ball didn't bounce (not sure if fixable, but we had chosen this house over another in same area for the ping pong table). We had 2 families, so we chose the location and space.

The Perfect Beach Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing vacation at Just in Thyme! Check-in was seamless and much appreciated after a long drive. The home is very clean and spacious with high ceilings and room to spread out over 3 levels. The top level has a second small living area with upholstered chairs, game table, TV, and small frig. - it's perfect for a second space for large groups. Hardwood floors, moldings, and soft paint colors give the home a cozy and upscale feel. The kitchen is very well stocked and has all-new stainless-steel appliances and updated lighting (not shown in current pics). We slept very comfortably and loved the memory foam bedding! (our room had a beautiful, updated ceiling fan - not shown in pics)The location of Just in Thyme is fabulous as it is slightly tucked away on a beautiful tree-lined side street but within very easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We enjoyed bike rides (bikes included with the rental!) to Seaside (.4 miles away) for eating and shopping followed by extended rides on a paved bike path over Western Lake to the local state park. A few other highlights during our stay were a fresh fish market just down the road, short evening walks to dinner in Seaside, morning coffee (home has a large 14-cup coffee maker) in the oversized and comfortable furniture, cooking meals in the well-stocked kitchen (everything is labeled and easy to find), a dining table big enough for our group to have meals at one end and an on-going puzzle at the other and opening the balcony doors to the ocean breeze. We had a fabulous week and look forward to our next stay!

Thyme Street Vacation

Over all the place was great! Very close to beach and Seaside. There are 2 downsides that I will Mention: 1) Construction next door started at 7AM Tuesday - Thursday 2) The Bikes are not good. The chains kept falling off leaving kids strained and 1 adult injured.

Very nice home and great location

There were 8 adults and two children (ages 1 and 4) and 1 7yr old cocker spaniel. There were more beds and bathrooms than we really needed. The pool was a little small but enough. The kitchen well stocked with dishes and utensils. The location was great with a short walk to the beach but expect a steep set of 3 levels of steps to the beach. Plenty of parking and 7 bikes but a few of the bikes were in poor shape. We stayed over the weekend but there is a home being built right next door and the construction was pretty loud when we first arrived on Friday afternoon. I typically expect a 3pm check in with rentals but this rental stated a 5pm. They did text me that it was ready early which was great! We had an issue with a carbon alarm going off and text response was prompt even though it was a couple of hours for maintenance to arrive, but it was quickly taken care of. My biggest complaint is the check-out policy calls for all dishes to be washed and put away and all garbage from every trash can to be removed from the house. This is another one that is not my experience on property rentals!! Typically we’ve only been required to put dishes in the dishwasher and start it before leaving and remove the main kitchen garbage! It’s difficult to understand paying $695 for cleaning but still having to spend some significant time “cleaning” before leaving. Overall, the house and location was nice but doubt that I’ll rent from this property management again.

Family/Friends girls getaway

We had a fabulous time. The property is perfectly located near shopping and a few steps from the beach. I was very impressed with the property management company. I reached out to them a few different times with questions. Someone responded to me very quickly EVERY time! I highly recommend this property.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great management and communications.

What a property. Extremely good value for the money we paid. Says it sleeps 16 and although there are 16 spots to sleep, the unit was plenty big and felt like it could have hosted more in a pinch. The kids wanted to be close to Seaside, and we certainly were. Very easy bike ride or walk if that is your preference. Beach access was very easy and close - right across the street, everyone enjoyed that. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with pretty much everything you can think of. Ice machine was very useful. Large refrigerator, all utensils, cooking supplies, crockpot, blender, modern washer and dryer, swimming pool, outdoor shower, community boogie boards and beach toys from previous tenants – everything we needed was there. And more. The beds were very comfortable, things appeared as clean as they could be. I was prepared to complain about the bikes having some problems, but when I reported the problem to property management, they had four new bikes in place as soon as possible. I couldn’t believe it. We really enjoyed the stay and if we ever need such a big place again, I’d definitely book this property.

Excellent location for all things Seaside!

Walkable to Seaside center, the beach, everything. Great communication, spotless home, perfect amt of space for our family of 14. Kitchen was very well stocked. No longer has construction next door, house is complete. Enjoyed early morning and evenings on the decks with family. We will definitely be back and definitely staying at this home again! Tk you 30A for an awesome family vacation!

Thanksgiving Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This spot was in a great location relative to seaside square and pricing was good. The house has great spaces and areas to gather. Outdoor area ping pong table is unusable with poor supplies and non-functioning net that could easily be rectified. bike tires needed inflating before guest arrive. all upper balconies were covered in thick dust from construction demo debris right next door, so wasn't ideal to hang out on porches. Main issue we had was musty odor on bottom level so that small room was not usable for us. once we got A/C going it helped throughout the house, but not down in that room at the entry level. Excellent communication and information provided before we arrived with all info you could ever need. Plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking. House is a tad dated, but it worked for us last minute when our first booking elsewhere was sold.

Great house, great location

This was a great house for our extended family of 10... plenty of space for everyone, location was perfect for the beach and Seaside area, and beautiful views! We also loved that our dog could stay with us. A great management team... one small problem at check-in was promptly taken care of. One recommendation... although the kitchen was very well equipped, it left no cabinet room for groceries. Maybe reorganize to help since groceries on the counter all week were a pain. Only 1 complaint... construction on a large house across the street was majorly annoying. I understand it can't be helped, but when you pay that much for a week at the beach in a house that is advertised with 2 floors of wrap-around porches for enjoyment, the construction should be mentioned somewhere in the listing. Construction starts promptly at 7am, so no morning coffee on the porch. Overall wonderful house that we will definitely consider again.

Perfect location and size

The property was convenient to the beach and just a short walk from seaside which was great! The home was very clean except underneath surfaces like the sofa and tv stand. The pool was smaller than expected but good for the kids. The home is 3 stories so be prepared for stairs. Overall we had a great time.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a great time here. The house was very clean, plenty of space for all our family, and location was perfect for beach and Seaside area! The kitchen had everything you needed for cooking, the bicycles were a great asset to have as we rode them daily! My only complaint is all the construction going on in the area! No way you can sleep late with all the large machinery backing up and beeping very early in the morning. Also, there are no curtains! So no way to block out that early morning sunshine. And the pedestal sinks in most of the bathrooms makes it very inconvenient to have any place to store or keep your toiletries in the bathroom. Most bathrooms also don’t have cabinets to put your items in. We found this to be very inconvenient. Overall, the house is great and the location is fantastic! The construction won’t last forever and of course the home owners can’t help that. Probably would stay here again.

Great House

We had a great time in this house and it worked great for our family of 12 plus 2 small children. Well stocked for kitchen needs as well. The bicycles were great for riding the community and visiting the shops and food trucks just down the road. I do want to mention that the beach access is close by but you have to go down 4 flights of stairs to reach the beach. This would have been helpful to know ahead of time since we had our elderly parents with us. Overall, great house and great location.
