Good Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time vacationing. The walk to the beach was rough, there was a free trolley but to get to the ocean you had to walk a pretty far ways through the sand either way you went. The cleanliness of the property was okay. The floors were slightly dirty, we had to wash most of the dishes prior to using any, there was hair on some of the Lenin’s, and there was a large stain on one of the pillow cases that looked like spaghetti sauce. There was also a lot of confusion about parking. We understood there were two passes provided, but we had a third vehicle. It took 5 phone calls and a tow notice for us to understand that the “overfill” spots were not overfill and needed a pass as well. Any other cars had to be parked about ten minutes away at a self storage facility. Had we known this we would have planned better.

Great location and cute condo

The place was lovely, but there were some left over items from the family before us including food in the fridge and socks in the washer. Also, there were little kid handprints that had not been wiped from mirrors and the TV. The shower in the principal bedroom had a very loose knob that kept falling off so we could not use both shower heads. Plus, the comforter in the main bedroom smelled a bit stale and not totally clean. All in all, it was nice. These are comments for the cleaners and owners to note for the next guests.

Had a good stay there. The only thing I would say is the queen bed needs a mattress topper or new mattress.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, our stay was amazing, but here are a few suggestions: ittle touches would be very nice such as soap dishes or dispensers, beach towels, a little more dishwasher soap and toilet paper, dish rags. The couch was quite dirty and we felt uncomfortable sitting on it. The master bath shower curtain was very moldy & should be replaced. The king mattress seemed very lumpy and could be replaced.

Nice Stay despite a few issues

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: WIFI in the unit was spotty at best. Made it difficult for remote working while we were there. Midweek we had an issue with the keypad lock. Would not work. Waited 30 minutes for maintenance and had to change out the deadbolt. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.

Seagrove Beach@Beachside Villas

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was convenient to the beach, which was why we booked the property. There were some negative reviews about the condo but they were dated from 2019 and 2021 and the ad said modern updates so I decided to go ahead and book it. The pictures do not show everything that needs to be repaired or replaced. It looks like the only thing that was updated was the kitchen backsplash, counter, and some of the floor. The kitchen cabinets were old and scratched or dented. A lot of the outlets didn't work, the living room TV was not connected and we couldn't get it to work, the fridge had a leak, the faucet in the shared bathroom leaked, the ceiling fan in one of the rooms didn't work, there was no remote for the TV in one of the rooms, and the kitchen table was scratched and looked dirty. The floor in the living looked dirty and the couch had stains on it. This a great location but this unit needs a lot of work. The master bedroom needs darkening curtains or shades. The bathroom in the master also needs updating. I did not understand why there were two showerheads and only one worked. The walls were painted but you could tell it was not done right you could still see some of the old color. The fixtures in the shower and sink need to be updated they were all mismatched. I've stayed in a couple of condos/houses from Vrbo and they have always been immaculate and in excellent condition. This was disappointing especially since so many fees were added to the condo cost. I understand the cleaning fee but there were at least 2 other fees that were included. This condo was not worth all the extra fees when it needed so much work. This condo could be really nice if it was maintained and renovated. I would stay at Beachside Villas because it is a great location but not in this unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the area of Seagrove Beach but dissatisfied with rental. Exposed Electrical cords under TV very hazardous for small children, screen slider on door was broken, vertical blinds in master were missing louvers, floors were dirty, some outlets were not usable, etc. Unit needs major maintenance. As far as beach access, was not easy even tho there was a shuttle. We had a wagon and small children and the walk from trolley to beach was difficult due to no boardwalk. We will definitely go back to area but will not stay at Oceanside Villas.

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying in Beachside Villas for a decade and this condo was the worst one we have ever used. Everything was dated, kitchen was under-stocked, not enough outlets or storage for personal items in bathrooms or bedrooms. As far as 'steps from the beach', that has all changed this year, as well...having a 'shuttle' was nice but no substitute for being able to walk right onto the beach. Sad changes all around the 30A area.
