First the good. It was great to have a 5 bedroom home. The kitchen was well stocked. We liked sitting out on the porch. Thank goodness there were lots of fans... we needed all of them, as the house was very hot. There are things that could be easily fixed and improved. If I had one week - I would 1) fix the main toilet seat that is broken, so you don't slide off and break a hip, 2) secure the refrigerator so it can't slide out into the kitchen when you try to open it - this is dangerous, 3) reverse the handle on the refrigerator door, so it opens towards the kitchen, it's awkward the way it is, 4) secure the baseboards in the kitchen so they doesn't stick out, 5) rewire the house so you don't have extension cords hanging everywhere as a fire hazard, 6) replace unbroken ice cube trays, 7) have the house thoroughly cleaned - under the living room sofa, and the baseboards - very dirty, 8) add screens to several windows so you can open them - the house was extremely hot, 9) add a plumbing device so you don't get scalding water in the shower when you flush the toilet - very dangerous for children, unpleasant for adults, 10) add modern side table with modern device outlets and a small lamp so you can charge your devices and read in bed. Some of these are major hazards that should have been addressed. Some are inconveniences. For the price of 3900 canadian dollars for 3 nights - I would have expected excellence and a safe space for my family. I was disappointed. So sad.
