We rented this property for a three night stay. Selected the property due to the proximity to all of the things we wanted to do while in L.A. and it was located in a neighborhood I’m familiar with.Late in the evening, we were asked to relocate to another of their properties because they forgot that the property was going to be fumigated the next day.I was offered a new property in East LA and a 120 refund. We had no choice to take the other property.The other property was in a much crowded part of the city and in an alleyway with businesses adjacent to it. So the noise in the alleyway began at 7 a.m. The showers delivered nothing but scalding hot water. One of the beds in the room where I slept had dirty sheets. And the one and only couch smelled like dog.It also added an extra half an hour, at the very least, to our daily drive. Because of all of this, I asked that we’d be refunded a full night. I was told that the team would discuss and get back to me. As of today, a week after we checked out, I have not seen any refund of any kind. Not the 120 they offered nor what I asked which I think is fair for the inconvenience of time lost and putting us in a property I wound’t have selected. When I reached out to inquire about the refund, I was told that the team had been too busy and that they had not had time to discuss.The first place was nicer. Nicer location. Cleaner. In a quiet neighborhood, but I can’t really review that property, so I’m reviewing the management.
