The property is fantastic. Gianluca was a pleasure to deal with. The property is super clean. Anything we needed host Gianluca was super quick to respond and help. The only problem we had was our trip was morning enough. We been Tuscany many times and we would simple not ever look further and come back again. Fantastic and highly recommended!

Fantastic villa with excellent service, particularly the private chef (chef Nello)

We stayed at an alternative villa which was in a beautiful location with excellent facilities.

It is a very clean new beautiful home with beautiful views of the valley towards Montalcino. However the VRBO location map and description put it within “walking distance” to Montalcino and this is completely wrong. The house is 1 hour from Montalcino City. If you are a wine lover of Bolgheri and montalcino wines this is great as it’s right in between the two wine regions. But if you want vicinity to Montalcino only this is not the house to rent. Owners are very nice and we even got to see them harvesting their beautiful olive groves. Also if you are a photographer you can get amazing shots of the morning fog over the valley. Gorgeous!

Cara Carolina grazie per la tua positiva recensione. E' stato un piacere ospitare te e la tua famiglia. Siamo davvero felici che ti sei trovata bene alla Dimora Montorsi e se siamo riusciti ad accontentarti é davvero un bel risultato perche' non é facile accontentare un ospite esigente come te! Per quanto riguarda le distanze, Montalcino citta' si raggiunge in 40 minuti di auto, mentre il comprensorio del Brunello (Castello Banfi/ Col d'Orcia/ Argiano/ Sant'Angelo in Colle) si raggiungono in soli 25 minuti di auto.

Privacy and nature

A beautiful house surrounded by nature. Total privacy. Said that the location is quite remote, but excellent for those who look for that.

Wonderful Villa

Wonderful villa in an amazing location! The villa is located in an unspoiled nature reserve. The owner is very kind and always available. Montalcino is very close and Val d'Orcia is the most beautiful area of ​​Tuscany. My family and I will be back. Highly recommended! David from Miami

This was an awesome stay! The property was super cool, views that went on forever, and felt like the authentic Tuscan experience far from the crowds of the cities. We spent many hours by the pool simply taking in the sights and sounds of our surroundings. The house was clean, well laid out, full of cool art, and had everything we needed. Gianluca was a great host, and made check-in and checkout very easy and smooth. We were also greeted by a bottle of wine and olive oil which were both produced on the property….so cool! Roccastrada was a few minutes drive for local restaurants and the grocery store. Montalcino and the coast were easy drives as well. As was Massa Marittima, which was another nearby fun day trip. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone else looking to get the real Tuscan vibes. Kyle, May 2026

Extraordinary house!

This beautiful villa in Tuscany was one of the most amazing houses that we have ever rented. New, clean, luxurious, functional, spacious, great pool and outdoors, amazing views, are the words that will describe it. Amazing Experience

This was such an amazing trip. Beautiful home, beautiful location, everything was perfect. Highly recommend hiring the private chef. That may have been our best meal the entire time in Italy! Fantastic owners who were so eager to help us with anything we needed!

Un paradiso in terra

Una favola ma tutto reale. Per un posto tranquillo, con solo silenzio intorno, con la natura cosi' vicina, con solo una decina di minuti dai ristoranti e supermercato, e con l'aiuto e disponibilita' assoluta di Gianluca e Jenny, i proprietari, farete la scelta piu' buona.

we stayed only one week but could have stayed many more weeks , this place is so peaceful and quiet and with a beautiful and very well maintained villa, We will come back for sure and highly recommend. The owners Gianluca and Jenny are always available and very nice people

Unvergesslich!!!

Wunderbare Lage, umgeben von Natur. Unvergessliche Sonnenuntergänge. Wir besuchten die prestigeträchtigen Keller nur wenige Minuten vom Anwesen entfernt. Der Küchenchef hat für uns typische lokale Gerichte zubereitet, die wir am Pool probieren konnten. Alles perfekt!

Fantastiskt hus i en helt gudomligt vacker omgivning! Toscana när det är som bäst! Rekommenderas!

Ett hus av högsta kvalitet beläget i en underbar omgivning. Huset ligger helt för sig själv, enda ljud som hörs är fågelkvitter och utsikten är helt enastående! Man behöver dock en bra bil, eftersom det ligger avskilt och vägen ner är smal och guppig. Vill man mitt i det Toscanska landskapet är det här helt rätt hus. Otroligt gott om utrymme, det är som tre separata lägenheter, varje med ett sovrum med dubbelsäng och ett med två enkelsängar. Totalt 12 bäddar. Varje lägenhet har sitt eget badrum. Rekommenderas starkt!

Fabulous!!

It is a truly unique and particular place, a full immersion in nature, the best place to enjoy the beautiful Tuscany! A beautiful saltwater pool welcomed us, and the interior of the farmhouse ... spectacular!! Really comfortable, we enjoyed a lot, especially the little ones who could freely travel between the garden and the pool. Nearly we could reach pretty countries, a vacation that will surely bring us to heart and we will never miss !

Un beau site mais une location à améliorer

Les points positifs : le site est grandiose,la maison avec tout le confort du neuf Les points négatifs : Montalcino n'est ni de près ni de loin à 6 km mais à 28 km,le torrent un mirage sauf peut-être au printemps,l'équipement un peu léger ,l'accueil a minima et surtout il est demandé aux locataires de laver les draps avant de partir ce qui implique des cycles de 10mn de lavage !!!La qualité de l'hygiène est gravement compromis. Un grand plus:On peut faire appel à un cuisinier aussi sympathique que talentueux...pour un prix très raisonnable.

Dear guest, I immediately reply to his review. The Abbey of Sant'Antimo and the Brunello of Montalcino area is only 6 km from the Villa, as is clearly indicated in our ad (are you able to read??). The village of Montalcino is 25 km away. The torrent did not have water this year because in Tuscany this summer was not raining. There was no water even in the rivers ... Drought has caused great damage to vineyards and olive trees. The villa is a private house and not a hotel, there is no reception service, because everyone who loves us enjoys total privacy. However, I am the manager and are always available at any time and for any need and problem. Bed and bath linen is supplied and washed by us, no one told him to wash anything (this is totally false). In the private villa there are so many services that sometimes even the 5 star hotels have. Here are the paid services: - Linen change and pool towels - Daily housekeeping - Breakfast Service - Private Chef in Villa - Grocery shopping service in Villa - Babysitting Service - Massage and Music Therapy - Reiki massage under the secular oak - Professional photographic service - Horseback riding in Nature Reserve - Live music and Medieval music - Tuscany private Tour - NCC Taxi service The Villa is new and very clean! Maison idéale pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis

Maison agréable à vivre. Beaux volumes intérieurs. Bonne répartition des chambres en appartements séparés.Très tranquille. Piscine peu profonde appréciée des enfants. Je regrette que la baie vitrée la plus proche de la terrasse soit fermée. Ce serait mille fois plus pratique si elle était coulissante.
