Charming House 'l'Estrambord'

Introduction:<br>In the heart of the village of Mirabel-aux-Baronnies, between Nyons and Vaison-la-Romaine, is the house "l'Estrambord", which means "great enthusiasm" in Provençal.<br><br>The 125 m2 old house has been tastefully furnished, a happy mix of authentic styles, original and with contemporary comforts. There is original décor, refined lighting and art objects. Its façade is covered with vines and roses. <br><br>The estrambord has a beautiful terrace above a small village lane. It has two floors. Two bedrooms with independent bathroom and toilet. <br>From the terrace there is a remarkable view of the small road without traffic (!) and the old roofs of the village. <br>The terrace gives access to a bedroom (bedroom 2 in the photos) with a shower room and toilet (bathroom 2 in the photos).<br>The living room with fireplace is on the first floor. The room is pleasantly cool in summer.<br>Then there is another bedroom, a bathroom with sunken bath and toilet.<br><br>In the immediate vicinity are Roman towns such as Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine (with their art festivals in the summer) and the spectacular scenery around Mont Ventoux.<br>A small barbecue is available on request. There is an enclosed area to store your bikes.<br>A unique house, both charming and comfortable, with art decoration and tastefully furnished without the soul of yesteryear having disappeared.<br><br>The environment:<br>L'Estambord is located in the heart of the village of Mirabel-aux-Baronnies, between Nyons and Vaison-la-Romaine in the Baronnies region. <br>Les Baronnies, in the south-west of the Drôme, is the land of aromatic plants. The landscapes are very varied due to the sunny climate and good soil conditions. There are deep valleys, vast forests but also lavender fields and an extremely rich flora. The region is geologically very interesting because of the confluence of the Pre-Alps, the Rhône Valley and the Mediterranean. <br><br>Activities:<br>In the surrounding area, you can go on beautiful hikes to discover the varied landscape and aromatic plants of the region. Many cultural outings are also possible as well as visits to exhibitions, festivities and museums. Some suggestions:<br>- The Silk Museum in Taulignan<br>- The lavender museum in Coustellet<br>- The lavender distillery near Nyons<br>- Roman remains in Vaison-la-Romaine<br>- The Ancient Theatre of Orange<br>- Various castles in Grignan, Suze-la-Rousse and Aulan<br>- The Pont du Gard near Nîmes<br>- Beautiful golf courses near Montélimar (18 holes), Clansayes, Orange or Avignon<br><br>Information Mirabel-aux-Baronnies<br>Mirabel-aux-Baronnies has a total of 1,500 inhabitants and is located 10 km from Vaison-la-Romaine and 8 km from Nyons. There is a tennis court in the village and a swimming pool 1.5 km from the village, at Camping 'le Sagittaire'. There is also a large swimming pool in Nyons (with lawns and slides) and another swimming pool in Vaison-la-Romaine.
