THE VILLA, Grenada, Caribien, Luksus villa, stor swimmingpool, havudsigt.

Hi Sasha, Great to hear how much you all enjoyed the villa and the pool. Hopefully we can welcome you back sometime ( and arrange for one of our trusted taxi drivers to meet you at the airport take you to the villa --stress and hassle free ). The car rental firm we suggest to guests will, if you wish, also have your car a temporary Grenadian Driving Licence waiting for you at the villa. All the best John Owner

Hi Carla We are really pleased everything went well -- and , yes our property manager is a gem. Stay safe. All the best. John & Paty

Hi Guy Many thanks for the great review. I will pass on your kind comments about Ursel. I hope we may be able to welcome you all again in the future. All the best. John

Hi Colin, Many thanks for your review and 5 star rating for our villa. Much appreciated. Yes, our villa is very private and Belle Isle is a peaceful and tranquil location. I have to disagree with your "very remote" comment since the villa is a long stones throw from several owner occupied villas and is only a few minutes drive to the local store and Pharmacy and St David's Police Station. Also the award winning La Sagesse Bay with its' sandy crescent bay - restaurant and beach bar, and the restaurants, spas, and facilities of two 5 star luxury hotels, is only an easy seven minute drive away. Also the whole area is unaffected by the ever increasing traffic jams and delays and University student construction work in the far south of the island. We find the villa is ideally located to easily access the whole of the island. Regards John & Paty --Owners

Hi James -- Delighted you had a great holiday. Ursel says thank you for the kind words. I hope we may be able to welcome you back again in the future. All the best John Owner

Hi Keith and Jenny - Many thanks for the review. Yes, we agree that it is advisable to rent a car. In fact this is the case no matter where you stay in Grenada. We are really sorry to hear that you felt that the villa/Belle Isle was remote. As you know we lived in the villa as our family home for 5 years and we have to say that neither we nor any of our previous guests had this impression. We think the attraction of Belle Isle is that it is totally unspoilt and offers easy access to a number of local beaches as well as the airport, the capital St George's, Grand Anse beach and its restaurants and bars, and all of the key tourist attractions on the island. The Villa itself is perfect for holiday-makers who wish to relax in a private detached luxury property in peaceful, quiet and beautiful surroundings ---undisturbed by any background traffic noise. Because the villa is on a cul-de-sac ( ie no through road ) there is no traffic noise --- all you will hear is birdsong during the day and the Cicadas at night. As you know, Belle Isle is not a high-density housing area ( such as Lance aux Epines with its 6000 students --and Fort Jeudy ) and the plots of land are large and well spaced out.- but you are still no more than a few hundred yards from some of the other villas and most villas are owner occupied ( not holiday rentals ). In addition local shops ( pharmacy, basic supermarket, post office and St David's Police Station ) are literally only a couple of minutes by car. Anyway, many thanks for visiting Grenada and staying at our villa All the best John and Paty Daniels Owners

Hi Lara and Marc, many thanks for the review and we are delighted that you loved our villa and enjoyed your honeymoon. Absence of spices :- As you know we encourage our guests to allow us to organise one of our trusted taxi drivers to meet them at the airport and take them to the villa via the best supermarket in Grenada where they can purchase food, drink, and condiments and spices of their choice. We did, of course, leave you a complimentary bottle of chilled champagne and two bottles of wine. Bedrooms :- The villa has five bedrooms and we do explain in our literature that when a couple book we assume that only one bedroom will be required but that we are always happy to service and make available another bedroom for couples who prefer separate bedrooms. In addition we always leave open the bedroom (#2) which has double doors opening onto the balcony overlooking the garden and pool so that all guests can enjoy that facility. Guests love sitting on the balcony for an early morning coffee as the garden comes to life and perhaps for a pre-dinner drink in the evening as the sun sets. We therefore always automatically make this room available. We hope we can welcome you to our villa again some time in the future. Regards John & Paty Owners

Hi Kim Many thanks for the review and we are pleased to learn that you loved the villa. Belle Isle is indeed a haven of peace and tranquility. We think the villa is ideally situated to easily access everything that Grenada offers --- from the south ( the capital St George's and diving from Grand Anse) to the rainforest (Grand Etang National Park)- to the west coast ( Gouyave Fish Friday ) and to the north of the island ( chocolate Factory,- Cocoa & Banana Plantations, -Rum Distillery, Concord Waterfall, & Levera National Park). Also the award winning La Sagesse Beach and bay is only a very short drive away. With regard to driving at night I am sorry to hear you found this a problem but there are three excellent restaurants only a 6-7 minute drive away using uncongested roads. ( La Sagesse and two at the 5 star Six Senses Resort La Sagesse ). For longer drives we usually suggest guests take advantage of our local "tame" taxi driver Boney --especially if they wish to enjoy a drink with their meal. I hope you all decide to visit Grenada again in the future and you will, of course, be very welcome to stay again at our villa. All the best John Owner

Hi Jonna, Delighted you had a good time and loved our villa. Thank you for being the perfect guests. All the best John Owner

Hi Sandra Many many thanks for your review and we are delighted you had such a good time in Grenada and enjoyed our villa. Also thank you for the feedback about the Scuba diving and the fact that the reefs are untouched which I am certain will be welcome news to other Scuba divers. We hope we may have the opportunity of welcoming you back sometime in the future. All the best John & Paty

Hi Mary Ann, Thank you for the terrific review. It was a pleasure having you and your daughters visit Grenada again and we are delighted you all had a great time. As you know, we will be very happy to welcome you again in the future. All the best John & Paty

Hi Mike Many thanks for the great review -- much appreciated. And thank you all for looking after the villa and taking care of everything. It was a pleasure having you all as guests and we hope that we can welcome you again some time in the future. All the best John Owner

Hi Sandra Many thanks for the excellent review and I am delighted you all enjoyed your visit. I am sorry to hear that some of the beds were found to be on the firm side but am glad that this did not spoil the holiday for any of your group of 6. We really do try to make our guests comfortable and would have been happy to bring in one or more new ( soft) mattresses. I hope we can welcome you back to Grenada and the villa sometime in the future.-- perhaps for another birthday celebration . All the best and thanks again John Owner

Hi Daniellia, Many thanks for the great review. As the University Campus is located way down on the southernmost tip of the island I am afraid it does take time to get to it and I am sorry to hear this detracted from your visit. In other respects The Villa is, of course, perfectly located for holidaymakers to easily access and explore all of the island's many beaches and attractions. Also, thank you for your praise of our Property Manager and Bonney ( taxi driver ).- they will be chuffed ! Regards John Owner
