Dette charmerende hus ligger i en stille gade med dejlige naboer. Vores hus har fantastisk naturligt lys og masser af vinduer. Varm gaspejs, aircondition og et velassorteret køkken. Beliggende i hjertet af NE Portland er du i gåafstand til de velkendte distrikter Alberta St., Mississippi St og N. Williams korridor. Lidt mindre end 2. 5 miles fra Pearl District og Portland centrum. Oplev det lokale, rigtige Portland! Fuldstændigt adskilt og privat.

Denne hyggelige bungalow har sin egen private indgang og private baghave / gårdhaveområde, er perfekt beliggende i indre NE Portland for at give dig en ideel hjemmebase til at opleve alt hvad Portland har at byde på. Optimal for 2-4 rejsende med to soveværelser og et bad. Dette hus har alle hotellets komfort og hjem kombineret til et!

Det ene soveværelse har en kingsize-seng / det andet en queensize-seng. Kan ændres til en tvilling over fuld køjeseng efter anmodning.

Rigelig parkering på gaden uden begrænsninger og placeret på en vigtigste cykelkorridor.

Alberta Arts Home

Great location, comfy home with everything we needed. Older home, we’ll-maintained; walking distance to Alberta, Fremont, Starbucks, Whole Foods. Great walking neighborhood. Owner was responsive but we didn’t have any problems to speak of. Guest room bed a little creaky, master bed very comfortable. Great stay overall!

Great experience

Very nice neighborhood to walk my dog- felt safe. Kitchen was well stocked, nice to have laundry room available. Very good king bed in master, lamps by bed. Great art on the walls. A good supply of towels. Needed supplies and host got them the next day. My only problem was the old fashioned tub as I’ve had hip and knee replacements and it was hard to get in/out…I managed!

Alberta Retreat Lives Up to its Name!

What a lovely cottage, well-appointed, clean as a whistle, kitchen well-stocked. Kimber was available on a moment's notice and always ready with a solution. The neighborhood is to die for. It feels like a throw back in time, with a boy down the street standing in the street to shoot baskets into a hoop up on the curb. Neighbors super friendly. GREAT restaurants and stores within walking distance. The back yard is an absolute oasis!! I put up a hummingbird feeder out the breakfast nook window, and it was so well attended I have decided to leave it for future guests. It feels very good to be able to give a tiny bit back to such a grand place!

Really a bummer staying here

The house smelled so strongly of cat pee it was a pretty miserable month-long-stay for us. Previous tenants' cats had been urinating and defecating in the basement which has an open stairway directly into the kitchen. We let the owner know and she acted surprised, but I have no idea how you don't catch that after what looked like months of it. People had thrown cat litter on top of the old pee but nobody ever cleaned it up. Turning the air conditioning on magnified the smell 10x so we had to leave it off in a 100+ degree heatwave. The place wasn't very clean- dead bugs in the windowsills I had to vacuum out, missing shower curtain so we had to wait a day to even shower, old trash under the clawfoot bathtub and old used soap, and a wad of damp laundry left in the dryer. I have never had a stay so uncomfortable or lacking any amenities. We didn’t feel like it was safe for us to stay in with the level of ammonia smell but we had no other options so we just left the windows open and my husband cleaned up as much as he could to try and get the smell under control. My one-year-old had a nose bleed for two days that would not go away and obviously I can't definitively say it was from the cat pee smell, but I have to wonder, as he's never had a nosebleed before that. So sad to have booked this place. The owner was nice enough in conversation, but I feel a little betrayed we spent our hard-earned money on this place and put in the effort to fly here with our one-year-old.

This entire event was heartbreaking for us as well. I hadn’t been in the house for a few months due to my husbands unexpected heath emergency, I trusted my cleaning staff to fill me in if there were any issues. Unfortunately they did not. Once Sadie and her family arrived and informed me the condition of the house I was quick to offer cleaners, disinfecting, ductwork cleaned, ozone treatments, anything to make the stay more comfortable. All the while being at the hospital with my husband who was undergoing a 12 hour surgery. ( I only mention this because I wasn’t working on all cylinders and obviously my cleaners weren’t being reliable. ). Sadie refused all offers of correction. I just felt horrible. It was a horrible situation all around. I felt as if I did everything I could in good faith to make things right. Sadie didn’t want to leave as that was also a hassle as they were traveling with a kiddo. We also refunded them $500.

Cute home and ideal foodie location!

The home was perfect for our family of four and two pups. We loved taking them for a walk every morning and meeting other dog owners. We walked to dinner almost every night and would always stop at salt and straw on the way back. Our welcome fruit basket and an assortment of teas was a sweet gesture. Would love to stay here the next time we come into townn!

Good location but overpriced for what you get

The property is in a very good location and the house is cute and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the fireplace and A/C were both needed during our four-month stay. As a long-term rental, the kitchen is not really set up to cook easily as it is only minimally stocked. The house was not adequately cleaned prior to our arrival and basic items (toilet paper, dishwasher soap, etc.) were very low or out. Host responded promptly and also credited us two nights fee for our inconvenience, which was appreciated. It is worth noting that the kitchen table and chairs are plastic. We have stayed at many rentals while traveling, and at this price point, we were a little disappointed in the overall quality of this rental. The stairs into the basement (for the washer and dryer) are precarious and one needs to be very careful when using them.

Stay at Alberta Retreat

We very much enjoyed our stay! The home was as advertised and very comfortable. The neighborhood/location was awesome! Kimber was responsive and easy to communicate with regarding the few concerns we had with the property. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Incredible host and perfectly located, quiet home.

The host, Kimber, was so gracious. She was incredibly response throughout and the house was perfectly maintained. It is located in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood, close to parks and within walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops, including Salt’n Straw and Wholefoods. 100% recommend! I will certainly return whenever I get back to Portland.

Can't say enough good things

Kimber's place is really a great find. It is located in the charming Alberta Arts neighborhood, which offers tons of great walking, restaurants, bars, etc. The house is very spacious and clean (the pictures really don't do it justice) and for the price it is an exceptional bargain. It gets tons of natural light in the bedrooms and living area, and also has a large basement which can be used as storage. My girlfriend and I stayed there for just over a month, and were very pleased with the various amenities offered. Kimber was very hands-off, but communicated when necessary to discuss anything related to the property. We prefer it this way. I find it difficult to come up with any major negatives about the place. The front door key could be a bit fussy at times to turn, and as with any place there are things that don't work the way you're used to which you need to figure out! While the neighborhood is very safe, be sure to lock your car at night since parking is only on the street (we had our car rummaged through one night after we accidentally left it unlocked, totally our fault). If you're on the fence about this property, book it. It was such a great deal for an extended stay in the city of roses!

Such a great stay! Love this house!

We stayed here for a month and a half and were in love with this house. It was so cute and cozy - we curled up in front of the fireplace almost every night. It's in such a great neighborhood, a quick walk to Alberta street with lots of restaurants and bars (and Salt and Straw ice cream!) The neighbors are so nice and the property manager was super helpful and quick at responding to our questions! We had a great experience and wanted to stay longer!

The Perfect Rental

My husband and I spent a month here- it was absolutely PERFECT. The house is clean and comfortable- it had everything we could have needed. Kimber was so responsive and helpful. We traveled with our two dogs, and every morning we would walk to the park and get to know the neighborhood better. The neighborhood itself is friendly and safe. The house is walking distance to Alberta, so you are close to bars and shops (everything was closed due to covid during our stay, otherwise we would have walked down everyday). Also a two minute drive to Whole Foods. We used this trip to help figure out if we should move to Portland- and because of our amazing experience here, we are convinced! We will always try and book with Kimber in the future. Stay here!!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much, Kimber!

Highly recommended !

I stayed here for several weeks while house-hunting/planning my next move and it worked out well. The house is very attractive, clean and comfortable. Private little backyard for contemplation, quiet and peaceful neighborhood, centrally located, lots of stuff nearby that you can walk to or with a short drive, friendly neighbors and community. Kimber is super nice, attentive, helpful with info and recommendations. Highly recommended !

Beautiful Bungalow in friendly neighborhood

I was here for a two month stay while I looked for a home to purchase. I was very pleased that the property was exactly as described, pictures were accurate, and no surprises. The home had everything that was needed, it was comfortable and cozy. The host was great, she was there when I needed her and very responsive to anything asked. I would highly recommend this property!
