Our goal was to sit back and relax and this place gave us the opportunity to do just that. We enjoyed spending time on the deck, especially stargazing at night. The porch provided a great place to relax on the couple days of rain we had. My only warning to future guests is to be aware that the golfers on the fairway are sometimes loud expressing their frustrations and sometimes use language that is inappropriate. There is nothing the host can do about that. Overall, it was a comfortable cabin for the two of us.

The outside landscaping of the rental was beautiful. The inside was nice, with a nice fireplace, but did not match the outside. Could definitely use some updating, cohesive decorating, a new upstairs bed, and MUCH better cleaning. It appeared on bathroom sink had been totally missed during cleaning. The Galena Territory was a great location. This rental is on one hole of the golf course. We did some walking on paths and biking. Ate in the Galena Territory for a couple meals. It’s a short trip to Galena. The Owners club is like going to the YMCA. The outside pool looked fun, but rainy when we went there. We did appreciate the s’mores fixings. Great touch.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, the Galena Territory location, the golf course views, walking and biking paths, and the Owners Club amenities. We’re especially happy that you enjoyed the s’mores fixings—we love being able to add those little touches for our guests! We so enjoy making upgrades to make our home enjoyable place to stay. We’re also addressing the cleaning concerns you mentioned, as we want every guest to arrive to a home that is thoroughly cleaned and ready for their stay.
