Charming place. Short walking distance to the downtown shops, I recommend Essence of Coffee for breakfast, and also quick access to the interstate when needed. The hosts were very accommodating to my special parking needs and were very quick to answer any of my questions.If I go back to Rapid City, I'll definitely try to book with them again.

The location was great for walking to restaurants. Nice area with easy access to get to Mt Rushmore and the National Parks. You won’t regret your choice

Communication was excellent before, during and after our stay. We didn't have any issues while at the residence, but Jami checked on us to make sure we didn't need anything . The place was neat, clean and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and shops. Check in and check out was simple. A stay!! Thank you!

I really liked this place overall. Great location. Extremely comfortable bed. I had similar concerns as others over the bathroom. While cute and historical, it lacked in function. For just one person, it worked great.

Lovely stay for exploring SW SD

I spent a wonderful week in this well-located clean apartment in Rapid City. I vistied all of the parks in the area, hiking, biking, and driving. This location was a convenient to all, though getting back to the east entrance of Badlands or Minuteman is a bit of a trek. If you are comming from the east, I suggest you hit those on your way out. A drive out to the west side of the Badlands loop for sunset another time is not too far. The place is located near the center of town, though the walk to many restaurants is probably on the long side. The apartment has everything you need and even a sitting area outside if the weather is right. The parking lot is private and hidden off the street despite the central location. The hosts were super responsive and accomodating. I had one small issue when I checked in late at night but while I was out in the morning, it was taken care of and they checked in to make sure everything was OK. (They asked mey permission before entering the unit and let me know exactly when they were there and what they were doing.) Some reviews mentioned the size of the unit. I found it to be roomy - and the size (600 sq ft) is listed on the VBRO page. The only thing I would agree with is that the bathroom is very small. Something to be aware of but not a show stopper UNLESS you have a disability that requires to use an assitive device or need more room to maneuver. Then, it might be a real concern. I would definitely stay here again.

What was advertised!

The lodging was inexpensive, clean, cozy and near downtown. That’s what I was looking for and it’s what I got. I’ll likely return.

Close and easy to airport

We picked this location for proximity to airport as well as parks we wanted to visit. You will be downtown so it will be a bit noisy at times but worth it. If you enjoy a good steak, don't miss 'Sear' only 1 mile away and very inexpensive. The house is older so plan accordingly; the bathroom is tiny with no electrical outlets. The host is fantastic. Very responsive. We would stay here again.

Great Location

The location, the outdoor patio, and the apartment were all great, except the bathroom. The bathroom needs a little table next to the sink for toiletries (my husband shaved at the kitchen sink) and something to at least hold a bar of soap (if not shampoo, too) in the tub/shower since the edges of the tub are rounded.

Great little hub to see the black hills from.

Great little place to venture out of to see all the sights. It is small but is perfect for 2 people to be comfortable. It is clean and cozy. The ac works well though we didnt need it. The shower is a tub with shower head and the step out is quite high so be careful. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend!

Cute Place & Great Location

Great location - responsive hosts

We stayed in Rapid City for three nights and scheduled day trips throughout the region. The space is comfortable, clean, and perfectly located for our purpose. The host is very responsive and the unit is exactly as advertised. I would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect place to stay! I came for Hills Alive. The location was perfect for me. I felt safe while staying alone. Its also close to shopping. The home was tastefully done and very clean. Everything i needed was there. I had a very comfortable stay.

Matt and I love to travel. We love luxury, comfort and convenience everywhere we stay. Our goal with our vacation rentals is to provide a luxurious experience to all of our guests. We try to ensure that our properties are comfortable and have everything needed for that home away from home.

We have five renovated homes in the "Village at St. Joseph" that accommodate each size of family and/or a group of friends. The Village allows guests to stay in the same area, yet also have their private spaces. There is a three-bedroom home located next door to this one-bedroom apartment, as well as a two-bedroom apartment upstairs and a studio apartment within the same complex. There are three additional one-bedroom homes available in the Village. We have created an outdoor commons area for all the guests to enjoy the beautiful area and create unique memories. The homes are downtown and within walking distance to all our favorite breweries, coffee shops and restaurants, as well as boutiques. The homes are also within walking distance to two of the main hiking and mountain biking hills downtown, M-Hill and Skyline Recreational Park, which allows guests to a quick workout in. This location is ideal as it has direct access all the main intersections of Rapid City, easy access to I-90 and Mt. Rushmore. I love outdoor work and spend quite a bit of time landscaping the property, adding new beauty to the landscaping every year.
