Na Craigean Lodge - Glengoulandie

Na Craigean Lodge har en lys, rummelig, åben plan stue / spisestue og køkkenområde med hvælvet loft, egetræsgulve og gulvvarme hele vejen igennem. Fra de komfortable sofaer får de store billedvinduer mest muligt ud af den fantastiske udsigt over Schiehallion og også hjorten, der befinder sig på den anden side af dammen.

A wonderful lodge near the mountains

Hi Avril, I’d really appreciate it if you could message me and let me know what faults need attention. We like to keep the lodges in top condition so I’d like to fix/update or replace anything you’ve noticed. Can you let me know what you mean by welcome pack? We supply washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, hand soap, sugar, sweetener, tea, coffee and biscuits? We do have book on the hall table that has house rules and information about the local area and restaurant recommendations. Again I’d appreciate your feedback. Kind regards, Anna

Beautiful Lodge and Setting

Enjoyed our 5 nights at the lodge. It was well equipped for a relaxing stay. In a remote location, but we were able to explore many other areas within a couple hours of the lodge each day. Lots of other amenities (restaurants, groceries etc.) available in nearby Aberfeldy.

Amazing stay!

We had an amazing time in Na Craigean, absolutely beautiful location and perfect for exploring the local scenery. Everything that was needed was provided, we had a slight problem the first day but the owners solved it right away. Would love to go back!

Perfect Holiday Home and Location

Holiday home was pretty much perfect. Clean and well maintained with lots of homely touches. Situated in a lovely environment with beautiful views to the pond, fields and out lying area. Good location perfectly situated for exploring the local areas and further afield if desired.

Stunning Location

Great lodge in a stunning location. Plenty of beautiful walks. Pitlochry is a lovely place with lots of places to eat with really good food. Only fault was some of the kitchen pans were not clean and it could have done with more cutlery. But would love to stay there again.

Snowed in!

Great stay at the lodge…beautiful surroundings, the deer opposite and the swans on the loch. Lodge was very luxurious. 18 inches of snow fell with storm Eunice on our last night… but the hosts were very good about letting us stay an extra night until the roads cleared and the kids just loved it!

3 days in the country

fantastic location, very clean, spacious and really well furnished lodge. perfect for the full family. had an issue with the hot water but was resolved pretty quickly considering it was Sunday morning!! will recommend to all who I know as well anyone I do not know!!!

Perfect holiday home

This property, as well as the site and area surrounding, far exceeded our expectations. One very small thing, we were unable to view the TV. Other than that we cannot fault it. Perfect in every way.

Beautiful cottage

We had a fabulous time at Na Craigean cottage. The cottage is exactly as shown in the pics. The cottage was clean & well equipped. Grandparents & kids enjoyed equally. It is a bit of drive to the closest grocery store. Overall, a fantastic experience!!

Alternatively Tesco and Asda deliver to the lodges and guests often schedule deliveries to arrive shortly after check in. Saves packing cool boxes or multiple trips to the shops! Great lodge, stunning location

Great lodge with fantastic views and stunning scenery all around. Booking was easy with no issues and easy access on arrival thanks to the details provided by Anna. Lodge was lovely and clean with a supply of toiletries provided in each of the three bathrooms. Rooms are a great size and we appreciated each room having its own thermostat to control the efficient underfloor heating so we could have the bedroom cooler than the lounge. It was lovely to arrive and find a fully decorated and lighted Christmas tree, together with a gift of chocolates and wine, thank you! We would love to return in the summer when longer days and brighter weather would encourage us to explore more of the area.

Serene Location

This was a nice retreat for a few nights. It was able to accommodate our group in one place. It was quiet and the surroundings were very peaceful. While the place was "clean" it needed a little help cleaning up the cobwebs as they were found throughout the place, inside and out. I guess depending on what you're used to, the mattress in at least 1 bedroom could be updated as it was sagging. The kitchen was well stocked and it was a comfortable space. It would have been nice to have some blankets to use outside and enjoy that space more. A great spot and with a few minor changes, it would be practically perfect.

I will feedback your comments about spider webs, I know the vaulted ceiling in the living area can be tricky to reach but we have high cleaning standards and will rectify that one straight away! Also could you let me know which mattress you found unsatisfactory so I can investigate it. A good nights sleep is so important and a good mattress is key. BLOWN AWAY BY THE VIEW!

Myself, my husband and our two children have just spent six nights at this beautiful lodge, we did not want to leave! It was spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could ever need, spacious and boasted the most magnificent view of the loch with its resident swans and ducks, the mountains and the deer park beyond where red deer can be seen roaming. We loved the peace and quiet that the location offered, but did not feel isolated as we were only a short drive from the shops and restaurants of Weem, Aberfeldy and Kenmore. Everything ran so smoothly that we had no need to contact the property owners Anna and Mark, but I have no doubt that should we have needed them, they would have been super helpful just like they were in all our communications in the run up to our stay. This lodge absolutely made our holiday!! :)
