Exceptional property and rare value,
especially considering the location in one of
the most coveted neighborhoods in the Bay
Area, or really, anywhere. Meticulously
clean, tasteful interior spaces, and tranquil
outdoor spaces that encourage relaxation
(the hammock was a big plus). Parking is a
snap right next to the entry. Extremely safe
location near the upscale restaurants and
shops of downtown Los Altos. Great vibe
and super communication with the owners.

It’s a very good place. My only complaints were the shower which badly needs a new and better head and some of the outdoor furniture was covered up. With great weather and our family coming in I didn’t understand why.

What stands out for us with this property was the beauty of the location and apartment unit, as well as the quiet neighborhood. Our host directed us to a wonderful walk just outside the door with beautiful views of the Bay Area. The unit is well cared for and very clean. Staying here made our trip to Palo Alto special.

We had a really nice six night stay. The guest house was very nice. Great location and beautiful setting. The beds were quite comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen except for breakfast but it seemed to have everything that would be needed. Nice parking area right by the front door. Joann was easy to communicate with. We recommend this property.

We had a ten star experience with our rental, and our hosts were very helpful and friendly - they helped make our stay perfect. The home is even better than described, everything went well. This was our second visit to this site and we hope to return again. Laundry, rooms, kitchen, cleanliness, parking, neighborhood...all great. Thanks to our hosts!

Nice property close to Stanford

The guest house was clean and quiet. The communication for check in and out was easy. Coffee and tea were provided.The washing machine was not working.

Very Cute little house. Had everything needed for my short stay. Joanna was very pleasant and helpful for all my needs. Would recommend to anyone if visiting the area.

Cozy gem in a quiet upscale neighborhood

This is a beautiful, bright, cozy, outhouse home in a quiet up scale neighborhood. The apartment is bright and the high ceilings give it a very airy feel. The beds in both the well sized bedrooms were comfortable. We did not cook in the cozy kitchen, although it seemed to be adequately equipped. The bathroom was clean with a tub. There is a well equipped outdoor space in a quiet big yard. There is a TV placed on the center table in the living room with Roku, although the set-up is not ideal for family watching together. I also do not recall seeing a formal dining table although there is a nice office desk and chair in the living room near the mantel piece. The location is unique - it feels like it is miles away from the hustle bustle although the amenities and other towns are just a few miles away. One thing to note is that it is quite dark at night on the roads due to lack of streetlights. All in all, it was a lovely experience.

Beautiful garden

The apartment is a private, fully stocked, well designed unit with sky high picture windows overlooking charming garden area. Serene drive to the house under arching canopy of trees. We were in town for Stanford alumni reunion. Stayed 5 days. Enjoyed proximity to university.

Beautiful guest house

Perfect in every way. Beautiful furnishings, super cozy and comfortable bed and kitchen had everything we needed. Easy drive to Stanford Hospital where we had an appointment. We will be back in December for a week long stay. Looking forward to another wonderful stay at Joanna and Mike’s beautiful property.

Wonderful place so close to Stanford

We had a great week staying at Joanna and Mikes place. Very comfortable and close to Los Altos Hills neighborhood which is great for shopping and dining.

Location, Location, Location…

This apartment was very tasteful and functional. We had plenty of room for myself, my husband, and our daughter. The gardens and patio were beautiful, with plum trees that you could eat, although it was so hot we didn’t get to spend time there. Easy walk to downtown Los Altos where we discovered a new favorite restaurant. There was a cute Fourth of July parade in downtown Los Altos and walking trails all around. Super relaxing stay! Exactly what we were craving coming back to the Bay Area!

Cute place

Quick and easy drive to Stanford hospital. Great place to recover as the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Nice walking trails in area.

Great, short stay!

We loved the quiety neighborhood setting of this property. Just the right size for the two of us. Beds were comfy (as well as cute!) We were easily able to connect to wifi and roku tv. Thanks for having us!

Lovely Los Altos

Idyllic setting in a beautifully appointed wing of a lovely home

The cottage like wing of this home was completely private, set in a gorgeous natural wooded area of Los Altos. The 2 bedrooms were spacious with very high ceilings, arched windows and especially comfy beds. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one could possibly need and living/dining room was a welcome refuge after a day out and about. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the best, it was a 10+.

Great location

We enjoyed the little cottage in a wonderful setting for walking and enjoying the countryside, yet close in to many towns in the Bay Area. The host was super easy to communicate with, and helpful. It was a lovely reunion with my friend from Texas.
