This was a perfect place for our girls trip. The location was perfect. Loved being able to walk out the door and walk into town. Especially loved the bakery across the street! There were four of us so having the three bedrooms and baths worked great. We loved the updated and modern look of the place and having the outdoor space was a definite plus. Would have been nice to have the ice maker and water dispenser working on the refrigerator. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Great location, walking distance to everything! It would have been nice to have a key pad for entry instead of having to get a physical key several miles away but it worked out fine. Very clean and spacious.

We love this house! There are 6 of us that rented it for the 2nd time for our girls trip. Its as close to the shops as you are going to get. There is great food close by. The house is nice, always clean and has an open living room and kitchen, so great for gathering after a long day of shopping!

We have been coming to Brown County for Thanksgiving weekend every year for 25 years. The first several years we came we always stayed at North House but our family outgrew it and so for the past 5 or 6 years we have stayed at various other locations in downtown Nashville. This year with there being a smaller group of us we decided to go back to North House. While the convenient location can't be beat, the house itself is definitely in need of some TLC.

A cute place to stay. We walked everywhere. The tvs could use an upgrade and there was no spatula for the grill. Overall a great stay!

Excellent location

The location was great!!! Parking was not easy with a big truck and we had 2 vehicles. Carpet was dirty looking, stained, a couple holes in the wall that I took pics of and some of the baseboards were dirty. Overall the location made up for all of that! Would definitely rent this property again.

Quaint home in a good location

We were in town for our son's graduation from IU and decided to stay in nearby Nashville. It is a quick trip to campus and turned out to be a great little town that is very walkable. The house is on the smaller size but has plenty of space for lounging and we appreciated the hot tub. It would benefit from some updating. It is also right across the street from Nashville Chophouse which is a nice steakhouse for a graduate dinner. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Great location but the house could use updating. TVs are old and not clear, carpet is stained. The beds were comfortable though. Hot tub had too much chlorine that it burned your eyes when jets were on

IU graduation weekend

We weren't able to spend as much time at the property as we would like, but we did find the place clean, the beds comfortable, and the towels plentiful. I do think it's time to upgrade the TVs; the one in Bedroom 1 did not work at all.

Friends reunion

The North House is great location in Nashville Indiana, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Quite dated house which could use a deep clean. The musty odor was a problem for me personally because I’m allergic to mold.

We are very sorry you had issues with the musty odor. There is a basement there that has a dehumidifier but it must have gotten turned off and not checked. We have let the owner know and to check it more often. Thank you for letting us know. We do hope you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you booking with us for your next visit.

I rented this adorable home for 3 nights/four day mom daughter trip. Four of us in total. It could not have worked out better. The pictures online do not do it justice as it has been recently remodeled, including new roof, kitchen, family room, bathrooms, and upgrades to existing bedrooms. Very modern bright comfortable and welcoming. It was the perfect place for us. So fun! Right across the street is a lovely bakery so how cool was it for my girls to walk across to get a fresh danish every morning. The location is perfect because it’s on the edge of the main drag yet easy walking distance to town/shops/ restaurants while not being right in the middle of busy town. Quiet with a lot of privacy. I have been going to Brown County annually for 30 years and have walked past this house many times. Had always been so curious about it. How lovely to finally stay there with my girls. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be looking to stay at the North House again-every year!
