Welcoming retreat with numerous comforts and amenities surrounded by lake, mountain and many outdoor experiences just outside the door.

Comfortable, spacious split level mountain home with stunning views of the Pintler mountains and Georgetown lake from most rooms in the house. Plenty of cushy seating in living room with giant picture windows facing the lake and mountains. Fully equipped kitchen including dual fuel range with double ovens, gas stove, huge refrigerator and freezer, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of dishes for your crowd, including gear for buffet style dining. Master bedroom with full bathroom and 4 additional bedrooms. Porches on front and back with outdoor barbecues. Outdoor patio space and fire pit, as well as yard big enough for kids to play. Downstairs recreation area with gas fireplace, sofas, television for movies DVD library) and wet bar.

Surrounded by beautiful scenery, and close to local attractions. 15 minutes to Philipsburg, 24 minutes to Anaconda, 12 minutes to Discovery ski area. Fishing in Georgetown lake or nearby Rock Creek and Big Hole River. Golf at Fairmont or Anaconda's Old Works course. Mountain biking trails including downhill runs and lifts at Discovery ski area. Road biking all around.

Internet access with WiFi is capable of streaming movies and video chat. Sonos sound system for your music and other audio streaming. Minimal television or radio reception.

Rowing machine for exercise.

Great place to enjoy winter sports!!

Loved our stay. We were close to Discovery for skiing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling just minutes from the house. The house was perfect 9 guys and it never felt crowded. We would go back in a heartbeat!!

Loved this house.

We had such a nice time at this beautiful home. Perfect location to go to Discovery and do some skiing or go down to Georgetown Lake for ice fishing. There was space for all of us, and we have nothing but positive things to say about it. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Fishing trip

Great family getaway. Nice house with plenty of amenities for a full family. We had 6 adults, 3 kids, and a baby.. fit everyones needs.

Lots of space- great location

We stayed at the property for a family ski weekend and it was spacious and well stocked. Lots of room for sleeping and for being together. Super communication and follow-up to questions.

A beautiful home with a view

This house was perfect. Right near the lake, a great size, clean. It is out of town, so make sure to grab some groceries.

Enjoy the Lakeview; then go skiing!

Close to downhill and XC skiing. Great view of the lake and sunsets Flexibility for all to be together in one room or to have separate areas for reading, watching TV, etc.

Great weekend getaway

The property was great. It was close to the lake and had plenty of room for our large group. We loved the large kitchen because we did a lot of cooking for our group. The exhaust fan over the range did not work and we set off the smoke alarms however everything else worked out great for our stay. Thank you!

Fabulous home on Georgetown Lake

This home was beyond our expectations. We had 10 family members and were so comfortable. The chef’s kitchen is perfect and the view is spectacular. Highly recommend!

Great place with large group

The house exceeded expectations in a situation we thought would be difficult - two families of five and another couple (grandparents). There were enough bedrooms, bath and shower facilities were excellent and there were large, open gathering places. We will stay here again if the opportunity arises. And, it's ten minutes to the ski hill at Discovery.

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Georgetown Lake. The house was large enough for our party of 9. Two of the rooms have bunk-beds, so that is one thing to consider if you are traveling with all adults. Definitely a plus, if you have kiddos. The house was equipped with all you need to make delicious meals. As others have mentioned, the hood over the stove is broken but we just opened the windows if we needed air flow. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others looking for a stay by the lake.

Wonderful Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The view were beautiful. we saw wildlife everyday. The house was just as the photos showed. Big enough for everyone to have their own space. Plenty of supplies in the house. Our stay was very nice. Only negatives was the grills wouldn't light and the vent in the kitchen over the range did not work. We would stay there again.

Terrific group property

The property is located in a prime spot for lake fun or skiing. Beautiful house with ample space for a large group to gather. Access to the home is very easy. Very easy check-in/out. The view is fantastic, sunsets should be enjoyed from the front deck (or front room) every night. Every amenity you need for a comfortable stay are on site, especially the well appointed kitchen. Overall a lovely experience. Thank you for making the home available.

Large house with lots of room to stretch out!

We enjoyed our time here. We had multiple families with kiddos. The kitchen was great for cooking for large groups! The views from the deck are beautiful. I wish the yard didn’t have so many thistle bushes. It’s more like a field. The house is a bit dated but great for large groups. Very close to the boat launch that’s a plus if you plan on boating.

Very nice spacious house. Still concerned that the vent over the gas range doesn’t work. It wasn’t working last year when we were there. Gas stoves need to be vented.

Beautiful county. Skied and ice fished with the kids. Quiet location. Great sleeping arrangements. Beautiful view. No snow removal while we were there. Hooded vent over gas range not working. That was a concern for me. Thank you

Yearly family get together.

We have 4 couples, adult female and one 5 year old that gather after the holidays are over to enjoy some relaxing fun family time. The house was perfect for us all to enjoy each others company but to also spread out for time alone if needed.

Guys fishing trip

This is the third year that our group of 7 guys stayed in the house. We love the access to areas of Georgetown Lake that we enjoy fishing. We will probably stay there again next year, but are hopeful that the cleanliness of the house will improve to previous standards. A clean refrigerator, outside grills cleaned and we would love at least half of the kitchen supplies removed and replaced by common useable items - mixing bowls, decent knives. If you plan to stay there and cook, you would probably want to bring essential spices and good knives to work with. There is plenty of old spices and other goods that are left by previous tenants, much of which should be thrown out. Little things like no salt in the house made us realize that we need to bring essentials.

We have long family heritage in Georgetown, Anaconda and Butte. Mom grew up snow skiing at Discovery and water skiing on Georgetown lake. It's a great privilege to share with amazing friends and neighbors, and that's what keeps us tied to this place.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

We hope that you will appreciate that Georgetown is about comfort, family and friends. We are grateful for the natural surroundings, and we strive to maintain a place for people to enjoy the setting, including the wonderful folks in the adjacent communities, particularly Philipsburg, Anaconda and Butte.

Winter in the Montana mountains is bracing and challenges the spirit. You can go cross country skiing right out the door on varied terrain leading up, down and around the lake. Discovery ski area is a local gem, with fantastic powder, many runs ranging from bunny slopes to double black diamond, and great amenities. There are also well-groomed, world class cross country trails about 10 minutes down the road to Discovery ski area.
