It was a perfect home for our vacation with our 2 grown kids and their spouses. A great location, view, host, stocked cooking supplies, games and we even got to see 3 cubs and the mamma bear.

We stayed here Oct 2026 family of 4 and absolutely love this cabin. The view was amazing. Had everything we needed. Even saw a bear from our balcony. Great location! Not far from downtown and come out right by Aquarium parking garage. Kids love the game room and theater. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Well, equipped home with fantastic views of downtown Gatlinburg. You can’t beat the three levels of decks with day and nighttime views. It takes a couple of times to get used to the drive to get to the home and I was thankful we only had one vehicle because I’m not sure how easily two vehicles can maneuver around each other on driveway. Wonderful cabin style home that felt modern.

Beautiful cabin but the drive up to the cabin was terrifying. Also, it was described as behind the aquarium but it is about 2 miles from the cabin.

So glad you loved our cabin, but you are mistaken about distance. My cabin is exactly .9 miles (less than 1 mile) from Ripley's Aquarium, and it is directly behind it. The road is Greystone Heights Road, and it is a main road up the mountain to access all the cabins in the community. It is a narrow, winding road that many people think they can walk. We don’t recommend it.

The best of both. Wonderful views of the mountains as well as the lit up nightlife of town. Plenty of space to relax after long days of taking in the sights. A game room with plenty of action as well as a theatre room for a family movie night. At the end of all of that, a nice hot tub to sooth away the soreness of a long days hike! We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Lots of great things about our stay. The place was very clean and had plenty of supplies. The owner was very accommodating making our reservations. Great views of Gatlinburg and the mountains. The game and theater rooms were great for all ages. We highly recommend staying at Alway a View. Be prepared to drive up the mountain with hairpin turns but it's well worth it!

Very clean and beautiful cabin. Great views. Not walkable to town. Very steep curvy road. Only negative about the cabin was the beautiful paddle fan didn’t work. Must have not worked for a while as there was a modified switch so you could t use it. Also the biggest thing about a cabin is the fireplace. This one didn’t work. I reported to the owner and was told maintenance was notified. I expected to see it fixed that day and it wasn’t. Wasn’t entire trip. Very disappointing. Would have given a perfect rating if that worked or we were given a credit.

Such a stunning home. The showers were hot with excellent pressure. The beds are so comfortable it is like sleeping on a cloud. You walk into a prefect temperature home. The views of the Smoky Mountains I could stare at all day. The pictures of this home do not do it justice. The location is close to town but far enough away to feel secluded that we had a couple bear sightings on our way up the mountain. We had no issues with the driveway steepness that was suggested in previous reviews but I guess i could see how some people might have found it intimidating. I enjoyed the people watching from that you can see while enjoying the hottub.

Our group had an amazing time here! The space was not only beautiful but also super clean and spacious — perfect for a group getaway. It had that luxury feel while still being comfortable enough to really relax and enjoy ourselves. There was plenty of room for everyone, whether we were hanging out together or doing our own thing.The host made everything easy and stress-free, and the attention to detail really showed. From the setup to the overall vibe, everything felt elevated. We laughed, relaxed, and made great memories here.Definitely a 10/10 — we’d all come back without hesitation! Highly recommend for anyone planning a fun, upscale group stay.

Host was very welcoming and provided us with all the information needed to have a great stay. Beautiful views of downtown and the mountains. The house was awesome with the theater room, pool table and games. It was clean and neatly arranged.

The best cabin we have stayed in by far. The location is perfect and felt fancy staying in that nice of a cabin. We loved it and can’t wait to stay again.

Very clean property and the description was exactly as advertised. The view overlooking Gatlinburg is beautiful and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the home itself feels high-end and well maintained. It’s located in a lovely area surrounded by other beautiful homes.The road up the mountain may look a little intimidating at first, but if you take your time it’s easy to navigate. Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend it.

This cabin was beautiful inside and well maintained. Everything was just as the pictures said and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were 3 of us and we all had a beautiful BR of our own, our own Bath and privacy if you wanted it. View is spectacular.The only problem you need to address is the driveway getting back onto the road. It has been raining and the driveway is washing away. There are 2 big holes at the beginning of the drive and it is a little scary trying to get down and back up onto the road. After you pass that spot everything is fine. You probably just need a load of gravel or something. We loved the view and the cabin!!
