Charming and convenient apartment

We usually stay with family in West Union but this trip we decided to stay downtown and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very well appointed and convenient to local ammeneties. For some reason we didn’t have the correct door codes to check in but with one call things were sorted out in minutes.

Darling Loft in the Heart of Wahalla

The loft was very well done and comfortable. Cute historic photos and signs. Just a few items that we would like to mention - the code to the key lock on the front door was incorrect and no code was given for the loft, which required a separate code. We looked forward to using the washer dryer as shown in the photos, but was informed it was not available to guests. Photo should be removed, as it was one of the reasons we rented there at the end of our trip. There was only one roll of toilet paper so we had to make a trip to Ingels for more. Most of the coffee glasses had not been cleaned and water remained in the coffee pot. We love Alexander’s wonder and works for coffee and the musicians who pipped up the band and sang for an hour one morning. Not to be missed.

Nice home walking distance to Performing Arts Center

The house was nice, clean, spacious, comfortable and had coffee and snacks for our enjoyment. The beds were comfortable. The wrap around porches were a nice place to hang out. We walked to the Pefrorming Arts Center and enjoyed a performance by The Steeldrivers. The acoustics of the PAC are amazing!

Great experience, great location!

My brother and sister in law had a wonderful night away in this beautiful loft. Wonderful location, extremely clean, and the host was very responsive and helpful. Overall, wonderful experience!

Just what we needed!

My husband and I needed to find a place to stay in Walhalla, with our dog, on very short notice. We hoped to find lodging that was sufficient, but we found just what we needed. The Walhalla Room of the Lofts on Main is divine. So comfortable and beautifully appointed. It was our escape for calm and comfort during a sad time. Our dog was perfectly content to watch the world go by from the shopfront windows - when he wasn't snoozing in one of his new favorite spots. We're so looking forward to returning and getting the full enjoyment of this lovely space. Thanks to our hosts for the kindness and thoughtful touches included in the space.

Really enjoyed our stay! Was so nice to stay in a clean and nice place that allows behaved pets!

What a great place! Highly recommend. Exceeded our expectations. We even ran into the cleaning lady when exiting and she was so sweet and seemed to have a good report with the owner. It was icing on the cake to know these places support individual local jobs as well as accommodating out of town guests. Everything is beautiful, and spacious. Will tell others of our stay and recommend to friends! Thanks so much!

Weekend Getaway

Everything was as described - nice relaxing weekend. I will say if you plan to visit, a lot things are closed on Sunday/Monday so plan accordingly. Would definitely book again.

The Walhalla Room at the Lofts on Main was an pleasant place to stay.

Cozy and convenient

Absolutely LOVELY little loft right in the down town strip. My partner and I stayed for two days with our dog. Most restaurants were walkable and there are several cute shops along the main road. Ten minutes from countless hiking trails and I do mean some gorgeous hiking trails. The only downside for this spot is how noisy it is. They really did preserve most of the original building and that means minimal insulation. If you are a light sleeper or you have dogs that are startled by car doors, loud noises or police sirens I suggest you bring a white noise machine. Overall fantastic stay. Would absolutely come back.

Perfect Location and very quiet

Went above and beyond all expectations! Super clean and cozy. I highly doubt you can find a place with better admenities than this one. Highly Recommend!
