Bring the whole family or group to this charming 3bed/3bath log cabin near the Frio River Kenneth Arthur Crossing! Enjoy a private pool, spacious porch, and peaceful hill country views. Our cabin is centrally located, just minutes from local restaurants, shops, and live music at the House Pasture. Rent tubes for floating nearby or bring your own river gear to sit and enjoy the beautiful riverside. Your perfect Concan getaway starts here!

Our Log Cabin is set in a private, secluded and wooded lot right on River Road. The property has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Primary bedroom upstairs - 1 queen and 1 full with en-suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 - 1 queen and 1 full. Bedroom 3 - 2 fulls. One bathroom also includes a stacked washer/dryer unit accessible to guests. The property sleeps 12 people comfortably!

The cabin was perfect!! Absolutely loved the porch overlooking the pool area! Had lots of games available to play and enjoyed watching the deer in the morning and evenings! Cabin had everything we needed. We will stay here again!!

We had such a great time at the Log Cabin! All the girls raves about how cute the place was and we loved how close the river access is to the house! The place was cozy, comfy, and relaxing. The pool was clean and well kept.

Weekend getaway

Loved the property! We enjoyed just relaxing by the pool and sitting on deck each evening. Plenty of space and all the outdoor games were a nice touch.

This is our groups second time to stay in this cabin and this time was just as great as the first! All the amenities, it being in the close vicinity of the river, the House Pasture, tube rentals, and food! It’s great and we love staying here.

Everything was perfect for our party of 7. Check in and out was a breeze. Every you need for your stay they had. We took full advantage of the pool and wrap around deck. And the proximity to the general store was really nice as we walked there several times. Would recommend

Great rental

Great property to host a large family vacation. Loved cooking on the Blacktop, and the additional refrigerators were a big bonus. The wrap around porch with large fans and plenty of games was enjoyed by all. Having our own private pool saved this trip since the river was too low and we weren’t able to float the entire time we were there. Would stay here again!

The Log Cabin was stunning!

The cabin was equipped with everything and more. The beautiful farmhouse decor I couldn’t stop taking pictures of as it’s becoming such a popular trend! It’s safe to say we have now found our new spot in Concan. We’ve stayed in many places there over the years, but nothing tops The Log Cabin on Frio Road! We truly loved our stay and look forward to booking again soon!

We love it here!

This is our second stay at the River Cabin and it was just as magical this time around. The location is perfect and set back off the road so you feel a sense of privacy, especially when you're at the pool! The kids had a blast, which in this technology driven world is harder than you think. We would most definitely book again. Great price for the space!!! The wrap around porch is where we started and ended our days. Just lovely.

Wow. What an incredible place. Aside from being absolutely beautiful, the location is amazing! It’s a short walking distance from the first crossing and there is a convenience store just down the road. We walked SEVERAL times to get things we needed and it had it all. The pool is beautiful. We went late September so the pool water was a little chilly, but still so fun. We are definitely headed back in the summer time. The cabin had EVERYTHING you need. Even the spice cabinet was great! The rooms are spacious and the restrooms felt like hotel restrooms. The little touches made it special. Outside on the porch, you can find so many fun games to play with the family; darts, jenga, corn hole… There is a little play area for the kids with a small kids table and swings. Our son loved the play cabin. We have stayed at 5 or 6 different places in Concan/leakey and this is by far the best one. 10/10 recommend.

What a hidden gem!

The Log Cabin on River Road is amazing! It’s a great value and probably more than you expect for most rentals in Concan. The kitchen was well appointed, the outdoor games were unparalleled, the cooking options were great, the layout was super functional, The Owners were AMAZING to deal with, check in was a flawless.... I really can’t find a thing to say negatively about this property. Thank you guys again for a great trip! I’m grateful to be your first review and look forward to renting again next year!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE

We absolutely loved our stay. Everyone slept great. Kitchen well stocked and the blackstone was great to use. We hardly even cooked in the kitchen. Pool was clean but honestly we really didn’t get in it much. Lots of outdoor games to play (teens beat the adults at volleyball). Communication was great and whole process was smooth! I would say the only downfall was no dishwasher and bedroom door up stairs was really hard to close, which made it loud. The upstairs bedroom is connected to house AC but also had a window unit (still a little warm for my hot natured husband, haha, but we chose that room to be away from the younger adults). Rest of the house cooled GREAT! Definitely would stay again and highly recommend!

The Cabin on River Road is a must when in Concan

My family stayed at The Cabin on River Road for the July 4th holiday. I cannot say enough about this location! The cabin is beautiful and was very comfortable for our group of 15. Even though the Frio wasn't flowing there was plenty to do. The pool was amazing, outdoor and indoor games to keep the family from being bored. Close to Garner State Park, shops, and other activities. We saw deer each morning amd evening. The beds were very comfortable, the a/c was great, and everything you needed was in the kitchen. Even though we were just off the road it felt very secluded with the lovely oak trees surrounding the cabin. My grandkids were asking to go back soon. The host was on the spot with quick responses and easy to work with. If you plan a stay in Concan I HIGHLY recommend the Cabin on River Road! !

Best location!

This house is perfect for a large group! There are plenty of things to do outdoors at the house for kids and large groups. There is a large porch to sit on and watch the deer come up while you drink coffee in the mornings. The kitchen is stocked very well with utensils and appliances. They have a Blackstone griddle outside that is so great to cook breakfast and dinner on! (I even ordered one while I was there) The house is very clean and big and the beds are very comfortable. I like the bunk bed room to put all the kids in one room. The property owner was very easy to get a hold of if needed. We took a trip with friends to get our teenagers out of the house and into the water. The location is perfect! The river and store are literally walking distance! Even though we went when the river was low, we were still able to find things to do. I suggest going to Garner State Park even if you can only get evening passes! We went from 5:30-10 and it was perfect. There are plenty of rope swings and deep water for the kids. We also went to Neal's Lodge. You can get a day pass there and hang out all day at the slides and deep water. And we also went to Seven Bluffs crossing to the gravel bar. We found that there are plenty of shade trees on the river for you to just put your chairs in the water and hang out while the kids are able to play. We absolutely loved this house and location! We will be back.

Loved the location

This place was very private and right next to the Frio Store. So it was very convienent to just walk over when we needed something. The house had space for everyone and the pool was amazing.

This house was exactly what we were looking for!

Our group had such a great time! The location is great. It was clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. There was so much to do from the games Bbq’n, making s’mores by the fire pit and the pool! Definitely will be back for our next family getaway.

Beautiful pool

The cabin was really nice. The pictures don't do this place justice. Beds were very comfortable, A/C was excellent, and the pool was the best part. There was a total of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 elementary kids and we all took advantage of the pool during the day and night. The flat top grill and all the outdoor games were a great bonus as well. We cooked all meals the whole time here and had everything we needed. I would definitely rent again! Thank y'all so much for all the great detail taken to make this a wonderful vacation rental!
