Country life at its finest! Stay in our expansive, inspiring, and comfortable farmhouse and enjoy the 220-acres of trails, spacious lawn, outdoor campfire area, and hidden creek gorge.

Paved circular driveway with carport. 3-sided, roofed, wrap around deck with 3 french doors from the dining room to the deck. Fully stocked kitchen with 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, dual propane ovens, propane range, ice maker, pantry.

Each of the 4 finely finished bedroom is unique, and each has it's own private bathroom. There is a loft above the 2nd floor library with 6 single beds.

The Dewing family lives on another farm property, just 2 miles away. Dewing Farms, LLC specializes in raising all-natural, grass-fed, grass-finished Lowline Angus beef cattle.

Just Perfection

My family and I stayed up here for a long weekend over Christmas. Right up front, the property managers were excellent with communication, often getting back to me within 5 or 10 minutes. The property is gorgeous and has access to a ton of walking trails. We even spent one evening at the nearby roller skating place, the Rollerena. What a great time, a beautiful part of the state, and a gorgeous property.

The Perfect Place

Me and 10 other male cancer patients rented the Dewing Farm for the weekend to remove ourselves from the stresses of life for a little while. This was the perfect location for a weekend getaway for a bunch of guys to sit around the fire and figure out the secrets of life. We will be back! Everything Elsa's just perfect.

Wonderful house on a beautiful property

We had a reunion for friends with several couples and this was a great place for big groups to get together while still having their own space. Well stocked large kitchen with ample room for cooking large meals or multiple meals at the same time. Plus a partly stocked pantry and fridge. Beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The loft was very enjoyable with enough room for everybody to not feel cramped, although had a low ceiling and required use of a ladder. Bathrooms were spacious and the showers were roomy. People staying in the loft share bathrooms with the king bedrooms.Nice deck and porch with rocking chairs. The firepit was great and included firewood. Multiple living spaces allowed different activities to take place at the same time at different energy levels. Plenty of extra blankets to stay cozy everywhere.

Beautiful and Peaceful

This Farm is Beautiful! Everything was as pretty as the pictures. We had a peaceful and very comfortable stay. The owners are on top of everything and responsive. We will definitely consider a repeat visit!

Great short stay - very nice accomodations

This property provided plenty of space for a large family gathering in town for a wedding. The beds were comfortable, rooms were large, A/C was cold. The house has a spacious, updated kitchen which includes 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, an ice maker and plenty of room to cook. Each bedroom (save the loft) has an attached private bathroom, all of which are up to date with tasteful design and nice materials.

Binghamton Graduation

Our son graduated from Decker School of Nursing and we hosted family at this beautiful farm house. The house had everything we needed to make the three days easy to entertain and come and go as we needed ! We did several short hikes on the property and loved seeing the cows! Mat and Janice were responsive and helpful! Thank you!

Wonderful House!

It is a beautiful house! It had everything my family and we needed. The kitchen is big perfect for large gatherings and cleaning is also made easier by the multiple sinks and 2 dish washers. Master bedroom is downstairs which was convenient. And each of my family members had their own bedroom with their own bathroom upstairs. Which worked out great when it was time to get ready for church on Sunday. The house in general needs some dusting off but overall it was a great stay and we thank Matt for being such a great host. We’ll be returning guests.

Just what we needed

The Dewing Farmhouse is amazing. We didn't want to leave. The kitchen is huge, making it really easy to prepare meals even with kids running through. I loved the dining room table, which had enough seating for my party of 9. It would have fit the 13 I expected to have, and there are plenty of place settings to accommodate large families (plus enough to have the dishwasher loaded while still having clean dishes for the next meal). The kids absolutely loved the loft. It will be one of the most memorable times of the year. Another thing I really appreciate is that there was no TV in the main living room -- just couches and chairs so we would not be mesmerized by a screen instead of spending quality time together. The bedrooms were spacious with space to unpack our luggage. We generally had good nights’ sleep, except the kids seemed to find the ice maker a novelty, and every one of the drank more water than we had ever seen them. (Maybe because the ice maker is at “kid” level rather than up higher.) We took a hike up the hill and through the trails at the top of the hill. It was winter with a dusting of snow, so there wasn't much excitement in terms of flora or fauna, but there were plenty of good surprises, and getting out for a walk with family was the best way to start the new year (and share my birthday). Communications with Mat was excellent. We ran into each other a number of times over the weekend, some on purpose and some random. He had a very minor maintenance

Exactly What We Needed

Perfect house that fit our needs. Mat was easy to work with and very understanding. The down stairs is open and that made it easy for a group our size to all be in one location. All of the bedrooms with bathrooms made it easy for us to get ready at the same time. The house is beautiful and clean. There are to too many upgrades to be listed here.

A ten out of ten!

The owners of this property have developed a home that is not only well-appointed but serves to meet any need a guest may have. It was very adequate for our three families: 5 sleeping areas, two living rooms, and a very large dining room table! While beautifully decorated inside, there is so much to enjoy outside, as well, whether it is sitting on the wrap around porch, walking the hiking trail, or gathering around a well designed fire pit.

Idyllic getaway

This property is gorgeous, well-stocked and so well kept. Absolutely perfect place to stay with family. Our teens enjoyed hiking the trails and chilling in the loft with the strong wi-fi. The adults enjoyed breezy evenings rocking on the porch. Magical stay. Will definitely be back.

Perfect farmhouse

Amazing Property, Even Better Hospitality

My friends agreed to let me plan a vacation for our three families without telling them where we were going. When I found the Dewing Farmhouse listing, I thought it would be the perfect place for 6 adults and 7 children to spend the week. I had a lot of plans for the families including team competitions and adult relaxation so I was hoping the host would be able to answer a few questions I had. Not only did Mat answer all my questions that I sent him, he offered to FaceTime me and show me around the property. This was just the first instance of the amazing customer service and hospitality he showed us. When we arrived at the house, I was nervous about how everyone would react to the house, but from the moment we walked through the door all I could hear were the oohs and ahhs as everyone made their way through the house. From the amazing kitchen to the multiple master bedrooms, to the kids' loft, every part of the house was perfectly decorated by Mat's wife Janice, and I could tell they knew what they were doing when they restored the farmhouse to what it is now. I have stayed at multiple rentals and I can say that this was by far the cleanest property I have ever stayed at. As we were finishing up with the tour, Mat pulled up to the barn so I went out to let him know how excited we were with the house. He was very friendly and I could tell he wanted to make sure we had the best time possible. He was extremely generous and offered us access to many things not included in the listing. I won't go into detail because I don't want people to expect those specific extra perks, but I will say that if you're respectful to him and his property, he will make sure you have the best possible time. I will mention that he gave us access to the barn because I told him early on about the games I was planning for our families and the dinner that the kids had planned for the parents. The barn was amazing and it was a beatiful place for a fancy dinner with all the string lights set up inside the barn. I can't guarantee barn access since they use it for weddings and other events so they might be preparing it for an event when you visit. You'll have to talk with Mat about that. Even without barn access, it's an amazing property with a large field for games, a huge fire pit, and plenty of trails to explore. This place is amazing on its own but Mat & his family will go out of their way to make sure you have the perfect vacation.

Perfect family get away

This was the perfect setting for a growing family to just relax and spend quality time together. The house was perfect because it was big enough for all subfamilies to have privacy and yet be under one roof. Yard was big enough for softball and croquette, and yet you could see it all from the comfortable covered porch. Really enjoyed the semiprofessional kitchen when cooking for 15. The manager/owner included us when taking care of livestock. My young grandchildren were able to milk a cow and bottle feed a calf. Lastly the pond up back was beautiful, clear and clean. They provided all life jackets needed. Overall great stay.

Excellent Property!

This was our second visit to Dewing Farmhouse. We used it for a girls' get away weekend. Our group of teen girls and mothers very much enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and well stocked! Mat is a wonderful host! We are sure to return!

Luxury in the Country

Our stay here exceeded our expectations. It was clean, well appointed, and beautifully decorated. I was especially impressed by the big soaking tub with a chandelier over it. There are well marked hiking trails on the grounds. Sitting on rocking chairs on the porch and watching the sky was my favorite activity. This getaway to the country was exactly what this city couple needed to feel restored.

Perfect Family Getaway

We were two small families meeting in a central location (one family from WNY and the other from NYC). It was a beautiful and clean place for us to enjoy while in the midst of a pandemic. The host was easy to get ahold of and offered tours of the farms. Nice areas to walk around the property and every necessity you needed while staying in the home. We didn't travel off the property but the area immediately surrounding the property was very pretty. Thank you for a such a wonderful stay; we wish it could have been longer. We will be visiting again!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Stayed at this amazing farmhouse May 2021 for 4 days. It was really nice to have so much space for the kids to run around and play, there was also a hiking trail right behind the farmhouse which was really nice. There is a supermarket about 15 mins away which was convenient since there are not tons of food options nearby.

Family and friends at Dewing Farm

We cant say enough wonderful things about our stay. Our two families stayed together in the farmhouse. We hiked each day and had a picnic at the trout stream. We had a little birthday celebration for one of the kids in the barn. We enjoyed sitting around the fire pit telling stories, some funny, some scary, while making smores. We even saw a newborn calf! So many magical moments! The natural scenery was stunning and enhanced by the beauty of the farmhouse and barn. The house is absolutely perfect and we often found ourselves talking about how impressed we were. The house is stocked with most everything you need. They really make you feel welcome. Matt was so kind and welcoming. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend some time with him. He encouraged us to use the barn including the chairs to celebrate a birthday. Matt also took our kids for a ride through the trails on his mule. A big highlight to the trip for them. This is a wonderful place to make memories that will last a lifetime. Se can not wait to go back!
