Great stay, Great Location

The location of this apartment was great - just beside Kemosabe. The was some noise at night with people walking by, but that is totally expected with the location in the heart of it all. While I thought parking was going to be an issue, the Aspen parking garage was just two and a half blocks away and worked great. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect downtown Aspen weekend

We had a lovely stay at this property. It’s situated right in the heart of Aspen, so we had easy access to everything we needed right outside our doorstep! The property was very clean and so nice. We loved how everything was so cozy. The communication with the owner was great…she always got right back to me with any questions I had. We were in Aspen for a wedding and this property was the perfect spot for us this weekend!

Aspen condo

Fantastic location in downtown Aspen near the base of Ajax. Ruby Park (bus stop) just a couple minutes walk away for easy travel to other ski areas, airport, etc. Lots of restaurants, grocers, shopping, etc. within a couple blocks. Some noise outside late at night (because of its downtown location and nearby bars), not a big problem, but renters should be aware of it. Condo itself was a good size and in great shape. Communications with the host were good. Only minor flaw was a persistent odor in the refrigerator.

We’re happy you enjoyed your stay! Yes, urban locations in general offer many conveniences. Conversely, if you stayed on the outskirts of Aspen it may be quieter but you would need to walk a distance, Uber or drive to get to town. Upon receiving your text, I had the housekeeper clean the refrigerator with a dilute solution of vinegar but she thought it smelled because of the the cheese you had in the refrigerator.

Amazing stay in the heart of Aspen

Our stay was everything we expected and more. Just steps from aspen mountain and the central bus station, it felt like a ski-in-ski-out. Being in the middle of all the shops and restaurants at the same time was just great! The apartment itself is so cozy and convenient, it felt like home. We are looking forward to visiting again next season!

Charming Apartment

This apartment was full of cosy old world charm with all the modern amenities and very comfortable. There was plenty of space and actually bigger than I had thought. Very accurate pictures, posting and very clean. It can be very hot in Aspen in the summer and increasingly so each year, not many places have air-conditioning and I was concerned about the "swamp cooler" and if it would be sufficient. It was actually very cool and kept us quite comfortable. Great location in the core of Aspen. Carol was great! generous and easy to communicate with. Thanks for a wonderful stay it made our trip extra special.

had to leave

I had to leave due to medical issues that the altitude was making much worse. I wasn't able to spend a single night in the VRBO and wasn't able to get any of my money back. I paid for a full month. AND the AC wasn't working when I first got to the VRBO.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 11. jul. 2021
The guest booked a non refundable booking that was clearly stated as “non refundable” in the VRBO listing. When the guest arrived, the temp outside was 61 degrees and the night time temp was in the low 40’s. We have a swamp cooler in the unit that the building was going to place back in service the following day (they shut off for winter season and turn back on when there isn’t a chance of freezing pipes). I offered, and gave the code for, my two bedroom penthouse with private rooftop deck in the same building and just next door (which she did check out) as this unit has air conditioning. Because she wasn’t feeling well she decided to fly back home.
