Tucson casita

Very clean, comfortable accommodations. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio watching javalinas wander past.

Beautiful and relaxing!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for six nights and absolutely loved it! It had all the amenities we were looking for (kitchen, laundry, outdoor porch, full bath (shower and tub), king bed) and working with Ella was easy and convenient. We had a little trouble locating the property the evening we arrived but stopped at the main entrance and they were able to point us in the right direction in only a few minutes (and gave us refreshments in those few minutes). Highly recommend a stay here and we would definitely stay here on a return trip to Tucson!

Owl Casita - Starr Pass

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Owl Casita. A very comfortable. spacious and well equipped home in a great location. Our host, Ella, was wonderful to work with. Very accommodating and responsive. The stay exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to return some day.

Serenity in Tuscon

Needed some downtime and this homey casita was a quiet respite for us. Everything we needed - lovely assistance upon arrival for personal check in. Enjoyed some of the resort offerings and easy access to downtown eateries and activities and the grocery store.

Relaxation in Tucson

Property was very clean and well stocked. Ella was great and made sure we found the place and was available if we needed anything. Close to many great restaurants and hikes. Also close to the resort hotel spa. Would definitely stay there again.

Better than the pictures

The condo is just perfect, and the location is beyond perfection. We sat on the patio morning and night having coffee or wine, and watched the birds at the bird feeders. Roadrunners would run by, and aside from the birds you really don’t hear a thing. Out the back is a gravel road that leads to a trailhead. It was so quiet that we often slept late We didn’t use the pool or tennis courts because the hikes were so appealing, and there are many. The condo is much more updated than it appears in the photos, and there is every amenity from shampoo to condiments, spices , etc. Ella is a superb hostess, checked in on us during our 9 day stay. The closest grocery store is about 10-15mns and the downtown restaurants are a decent drive, but the Catalina BBQ is walking distance and we ate at the JW Marriott a couple times, which is excellent. If we come back to Tucson we will definitely want to stay there again.

A Wonderful Getaway

This property is perfect. Location is great, walk to pro shop to check in for golf, beautiful pool and tennis courts! The unit itself was just lovely, clean, well stocked, comfortable, and a beautiful view of golf course and Marriott. Our host was very helpful and attentive…we will be back!

Picturesque locale

Location is beautiful for walking/hiking and scenery. Very quiet and friendly neighbourhood. Really enjoyed our stay. Ella was very helpful and available.

This casita was clean, decorated well. It had a great location to golf and pool.

I would stay here all the time. We loved the location. Our host was extremely attentive and very helpful regarding recommendations too.

Starr Pass one BR

This is an excellent place for a single or couple to stay in Tucson. A very nice, comfortable, well-equipped 1 BR 1 bath, a short walk from the Star Pass Trailhead. Golf course on site, access to a very nice pool. Host was very helpful. Easy access to downtown Tucson, U of Arizona, very close to Tucson Mountain Park, Saguaro National Park, and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Tucson Get away

This property was clean, quiet and well stocked. The location is primo. I love the Star Pass area for biking, hiking and trail running. Also easy access to great coffee and food. Owner was helpful and responsive. Very enjoyable stay!

Excellent Month

Ella is a terrific host. We had a wonderful stay at her comfortable casita. We appreciated having a grill, loved the accessibility of hiking out the back door and easy access to downtown Tuscon. The pool is the best. Highly recommend.

Location location location!

The location of this property sets it apart. We were a chip shot from a gorgeous 27 hole golf course and a short drive or beautiful walk up to the Marriott where we could use their facilities. Sitting out by a fire pit with the hotel’s Starbucks coffee in the morning overlooking the city of Tucson was a great way to start the day. The casita was well equipped with everything you would need including many condiments and paper products and other staples that you would often have to buy at other VRBO units. The beds were very comfortable and the sleeping was fantastic because it was so quiet. Ella is a wonderful owner and went out of her way to make our stay as perfect as possible.

Great Stay in Tucson

This was a great way to be introduced to Tucson. The accommodations were very comfortable and spacious. Short drive from stores but off the beaten path. The salt-water pool was wonderful and I was pleasantly surprised by the menu at Cantinas. I would gladly book this place again but next time, I’ll plan for a round of golf too.

Great Tucson spot

Ella the owner was very available and helpful throughout our viist. She offered good suggestions for local attractions and anything else we asked in key with our specific interests. Quiet, private and has everything!

First, the owner is awesome! Accommodating, friendly and responsive! Great home! She had the football game on TV upon our arrival! Great value, beautiful pool, nice golf course and restaurant steps away. This place is fantastic, highly recommend!

Family Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Owl Casita! The home was very nice and comfortable, we had ample room to relax and visit with our children. The view is amazing and the patio is very private. The pool and restaurant and within walking distance and the man hotel is a shuttle or very short drive away.

Starr pass golf casita

Everything was perfect!!! Excellent location, gorgeous views, great soundproofed walls (we have a screaming baby!), fully stocked casita. I’ve stayed at 3 or 4 of these casitas before and would happily rebook this one again. Check in process was great as was host communication. Thank you!

Near the glass door, admire a piece by a dear and loyal friend. You'll also discover a special drawing of an owl, created by a young teenage visitor, carrying a timeless wish and blessing for all future guests. Adding an extra layer to your Tucson experience, one of us even had the unique privilege of working at the legendary Old Tucson Movie Location, planning daily gift-giving for stars like Elizabeth Taylor, George Hamilton, and Tom Skerritt during filming. Resort nearest the U of A, downtown and the airport and I-10. Within eye site of famous JW Marriott Hotel and Spa, Road Runner Golf Course, Starr Pass. Open park wildlife reserve, Rich in beauty and scenic desert terrain. Open air mountain bike park, all in our back yard. We visited and stayed at all the developments and resorts in the Old Pueblo and came back to Starr Pass. There is something special about this desert oasis. This is a place to return to again and again.

Comfort and convenience - save time driving -- Tucson is a big city, save time driving and stay with us. The resort closest to Tucson International Airport (TUS), U of A and downtown
Management is helpful and responsive
You will have access to a private patio with table and chairs. Washer and dryer with laundry detergent and fabric softener along with iron is available.
Notes to Our Guests:
1. This Suite is NOT suitable for parties and outside guests other than those included on booking.
2. Smoking and Vaping are not permitted.
3. Tucson is a favorite with hikers and cyclists but non-residents must remember that our hot and dry climate can change to monsoons in the summer and snow in the mountains in the winter! Rain and snowmelt create conditions! Hikers and cyclists need to carry plenty of water, sunscreen, and wear hats and good shoes/ boots at all times.
4. Shuttle -- guest pick up at Catalina BBQ near the Golf Pro Shop will drop guests to the JW Marriott Resort and Spa entrance -- spend the evening fireside or dining. Shuttle runs through the evening and will drop you back to your casita. Enjoy live music most weekend evenings, grand fire pits and fire towers, meal and beverage service at your couch/table, restaurants and Starbucks on site. Early morning guided hiking. Grab your coffee and join guests for the 7 am Grateful fireside service. Fireworks on holidays or special occasions are common. All amenities including the pool, tennis courts are out of the hands of the private owner host of your casita. Book these though ResortPass.com.
