Situated on the West side of the building, this lovely getaway boasts unparalleled views, perfect for taking in the colors of the sunset in the evening and enjoying the fireworks over the Destin Harbor. Whether you are taking a family beach vacation, planning a spontaneous getaway with your closest friends, or simply in need of some beach therapy, this dreamy oasis has got you covered. With chic and welcoming décor throughout, you and your loved ones will feel immediately at home from the moment you enter. Immediately to the left of the entrance is the fully-equipped kitchen, boasting gorgeous granite countertops as well as all utensils, cookware, and appliances to create your own meals while on vacation. The kitchen opens into the living area and dining room, allowing for plenty of room to spread out. The dining table seats up to four guests and there are four additional barstools by the breakfast bar area. Step into the welcoming living area, adorned with matching furnishings and décor, and enjoy a movie night on the large flat-screen television and DVD player combination!

This place was amazing. The condo was clean and close to everything. The pool area was so fun, there was even a smaller heated pool that the toddler found much more comfortable as temps were mild during our stay. The public beach access was less than half a mile walk. Would definitely stay here again!

Destin Vacation at The Palms of Destin

We really enjoyed our stay at The Palms of Destin. Clean and centrally located from most attractions we wanted to see/or do. The service staff was awesome.

The pool area was beautiful! The rooms were spacious and clean. We had two king bedrooms which is unheard of when trying to find a condo! The restaurant had activities every night. We had a blast at bingo and won some neat prizes.

Perfect for baseball families

The entire complex was perfect for our baseball World Series trip! Walking distance to the fields was sooo nice! Plenty of places for kids to hang out and play! Pool was great and shuttle to the beach was nice as well. Covered parking sooo nice when it was 100 degrees plus outside. Super convenient to Publix and Walmart! Only negative was the lack of staff at the pool bar and restaurant to handle the amount of people staying there. Wait for food and drinks was entirely too long and food was just average. We ended up ordering pizza from a nearby place instead of using the pool side restaurant.

Disappointed

When we first entered into the home it looked clean and nice but looking thru the whole home we noticed that this home had one small trash can in the kitchen but no trash cans in the bedrooms. For this to be a tourist town I was disappointed in that bc as a tourist you do a lot of shopping. I texted and ask for more trash bags and they gave us a hard time about a few more trash bags. The stove door window was not clean. And the worst of it all was that there were roaches in the kitchen. It took awhile to come and spray after we reported it but even after they sprayed we seen more roaches. The bedroom bed on the left was uncomfortable to sleep bc it had a sunk in the middle. At the end, they sent instructions for us to exit the home on our last day and wanted us to put towels and linens in the washer turn the air off, take the garbage out and also wash dishes but if we did all that then what would be left for the housekeeping to do??? Disappointed in the stay this time!!!!

The facilities were great! The coffee bar is amazing. The pools, lagoon, and hot tub were perfect!

Great Condo

We enjoyed our condo and all of the included amenities. We will definitely stay here again. Our only complaint is the construction that was taking place in the condo above us. We could not relax during the day time due to constant hammering. The midday naps we were hoping for were not at all possible. It would be nice to have some type of heads up when construction is happening so close that it affects the stay.

Great stay.

We had a great time. And the room was beautiful and clean. Check in was a bit of a mess, when we got to the property VRBO had not sent the reservation to the resort so we had to wait until that was worked out just be told they did not offer early check in.

Destin Vacay

The condo was very spacious and fully stocked with all we needed. I was disappointed that our ceiling fan didn’t work. I called Vacasa to have it fixed but the handyman said they need an electrician. No one ever returned within the five days we were there to fix the fan. We were too far from the beach to hear the waves, but the location was perfect and we could walk to the beach . The property is beautiful the hot tub amazing although no drinks of any sort are allowed within 6 feet of the Jacuzzi or pool. I’ve never seen that rule anywhere unless you have glassware. The lagoon pool was nice to look at but too cold to get in. The overall general property was in tiptop condition.

Not terrible just could have been better

I loved the view from this balcony! The cleanliness of the condo left plenty to be desired. The pull out sofa was broken resulting in my children taking turns sleeping on the floor and broken sofa. Although I called and emailed multiple times we still ended up leaving early so that my kids could get a full night's sleep because the issue was never fixed.

Exactly what we wanted!!!

Excellent stay! Everything was so clean and nice and the picture posted for the spare room is WAY nicer than pictured. It’s a king size bed with big tv and open view! 10/10 recommended

The pictures above do not match the condo, however the condo itself is superb. There are two king beds (one appears slightly smaller, so that one may be a queen), the beds are comfortable. The only negative thing is this unit is at the end of a long hallway & the tv in the living room & guest room do not have cable, the master suite does but the tv is tiny. The en-suite has a walk in shower with a seating area & the other bathroom had tub/shower combo. I will recommend & book this unit again!

Check-in was a nightmare

The staff at the Palms was outstanding!!! The only major problem I had was at check-in the Palms had not received confirmation from Vacasa so it took 2 hours for me to finally get Vacasa to send the confirmation to the Palms. Thank heavens Vacasa was a available to assist or me and my families vacation would have been ruined. Overall awesome job by the Palms but Vasaca drop the ball on the Check-in process.

Unit 2716

My whole weekend was ruined I paid 790 for 2 days the unit 2716 air didn't work it was so hot trying to sleep at night Florida is already extra hot so to have a unit with the air not working ruined my trip I call Friday they said someone was going to call me Saturday morning its Sunday I'm on my way home still haven't received a call but they got their money already so they don't care please dont rent unit 2716 the front TV didnt work

Exactly as pictured and described!

This condo had everything we needed and a sufficient supply of towels that lasted our two families the entire 4 days we stayed. The entire tower we stayed at was incredibly quiet. I couldn't even hear people on the balcony. The only issue we had was with the a/c. It never got below 75 degrees our entire stay. I did hear back from Vacasa and was informed that leaving the balcony doors open for any amount of time, could freeze up the units. We checked and it did not look frozen over. Just something the owners might want to check on. We weren't in the rooms a whole lot, so we didn't fret about it. The pool was gorgeous and not too overcrowded. We were served drinks poolside on the first day we went, but were a little disappointed because the second day (a Monday) the restaurant and services by the pool were closed. Not a huge deal, just unexpected. Overall, I loved this place and would definitely recommend for a reasonably priced stay in Destin.
