Secluded, Cozy Cottage in the Shenandoah Valley

Escape to our comfortable and well appointed cottage in the mountains. This one bedroom one bath with additional loft is the perfect retreat. The spacious deck is ideal for sipping coffee in the morning, reading and napping in the afternoon and star gazing at night. The property sits on over 90 acres to explore and a hot tub to soak in after. There are beautiful hiking trails a few steps from the cottage and the famous Skyline Drive is just a 20 minute drive away. There are several beautiful wineries a few miles from the cottage. Enjoy the evenings by the fire pit (we have wood available for you). We also have a wood burning fire place for chilly nights and a gas grill for your convenience.
The cottage has free wifi (Starlink!) and a smart TV.
There are 2 towns close by for provisioning, shopping and meals out.
We have a generator that will automatically turn on and power the entire cottage in case there is a power outage.
Peace and quiet with all the comforts of home. Like us, you won’t want to leave.

Please be aware that we do have a security camera located on the upper deck that is pointed at the driveway and one at the entry door.

The cottage was beautifully designed and decorated, and very welcoming. Loved the fireplace and the large shower. The remote setting was really peaceful and lovely for enjoying the hot tub under the stars.

Second Valentines weekend stay here and it was just as memorable as the first. Such an awesome house in a great centralized location for all of the area wineries. The owners do such a great job making you feel welcome and comfortable during your stay.

The place is excellent and exceptionally clean! We loved our time. The gas stove was great to cook on, the views are amazing, and loved the fireplace.

This is such a beautiful, quaint cottage. Sunrises on the deck were absolutely beautiful with the mountain view. The house was decorated nicely with all the antique touches. It was great to enjoy the hot tub and outdoor fire pit as well.

Wonderful stay! Very cozy weekend for two. We hiked, went to a winery and out to eat, and did a lot of relaxing at the cottage! Enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. The house was very well appointed, meticulously clean and comfortable. We’d love to return!

Very nice quiet cabin in the Shenandoah valley. Perfect location while we were in town for a wedding. The cabin --could-- sleep 4, but be advised the upper bedroom is accessed only w a steep, long ladder. It's not a good sleeping place if you're bringing children. But for the two of us it was perfect.

A magical stay - everything was perfect for a quiet weekend away. Make sure you follow the host's directions to get to the property and don't rely on google maps.

Peaceful, Serene, Perfect Stay!

Everything at this lovely place of peace and serenity was pure perfection. The owners are amazing and went over and beyond to make the stay exceptional. The hot tub was heaven, pure heaven! The cottage is fully stocked, modern, clean, and just the perfect space to decompress, unwind, and reset. Thank you to the owners for sharing your beautiful property, it was just a what we needed to break away from the hustle and bustle and stressors of life! Thank you! Perfect five star stay!!!

A real cute place with a cozy layout and amazing bathroom and shower. It was just secluded enough but not overly challenging to get to. The upper porch was great for hanging out and watching the pair of hummingbirds that seem to have made the area home. The bed was comfortable but also a little squeaky and noisy. We really enjoyed our stay and it was just the relaxing getaway we needed.

Anniversary weekend

This property is amazing, the pictures don’t do the house justice. It’s the perfect size for a couples getaway, far enough away from the main house that you don’t see anyone else, and close to plenty of wineries and other area attractions. The wife and I would definitely love to stay here in again in the future.
