Fantastic property, location, and owner

We absolutely loved this property! Great location for all our adventures as well as San Diego Old Town was just across the street. The property is very clean and well appointed. The owner is very communicative and also had great recommendations for restaurants. Next time we are in San Diego, we will definitely stay here!

Cozy long weekend

The property is clean, cozy and very comfortable with a wonderful location. Loved that we had our own parking space in the back - super convenient. Great location to walk into Old Town, really comfortable to hang outside. Nice neighborhood, would choose again!

Old Town Cottage

From the beginning of seeing the property online to the end of our stay; we had a great experience. Casita was clean and communication with the owners was great. Beds and pillows were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked. Love the location! I would definitely stay there again.

San Diego get away

Property has everything you will need for your stay. We really enjoyed watching the birds playing in the fountain every morning. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything Steve.

San Diego Old Town

Wow…what a wonderful place. Steve the host was fabulous. The place was so cute and spotless. It was literally just across the street from Old Town. Which makes it only minutes from almost all San Diego hot spots. Loved our stay. If we ever return to the area, will stay here again.

Perfect Location

We loved our stay in the casita. The location was perfect for visiting Old Town and the beaches. We used the trolley to get around downtown in order to eliminate parking problems and the station is an easy walk with a day pass costing $6. Communication was excellent with check in instructions and all of the information we needed. We highly recommend staying in the casita and we hope to return in the future.

Old town San Diego made easy.

The Owner Steve was great and very helpful directed me to all the best restaurants and the free shuttle as well! Shower has plenty of pressure very nice place. Will do again! 5 Stars

Perfect Location

The property was as nice as the online pictures and Steve, the property manager was wonderful to work with. The location allowed us to walk to the Old Town restaurants and shops with ease. We also enjoyed sitting out on the patio and relaxing. Although close to Old Town the property was very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely book again when we are in San Diego.

Cute Casita

Very charming 1940s casita with many original features. Small but cozy and has everything one might need! Very clean. We loved sitting on the beautiful, shaded patio - the owner maintains a lovely garden. One block from Old Town. We would definitely stay again!

Excellent Property and Super Hosts

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this Casita! Couldn't find a better location anywhere in San Diego...central to everywhere with the added plusses of being in the middle of Old Town and walking distance to the train system. Steve is an EXCELLENT communicator with great information and always being sure that you are comfortable and have everything that you need. Total five star stay! Highly recommend this place when you visit San Diego!

Great Casita, Perfect location!

This casita has everything you need to feel at home. Steve was the perfect host. We had a great time. Sitting outside in the evening was so relaxing. We had a glass of wine, cheese and crackers, plus could hear the music from Old Town. We would definately stay again. Everything was perfect.

Quaint and lovely casita

This is our second time staying at this casita. It’s very clean and has everything you need! Stayed with hubby and adult son who slept very comfortably on the pull out sofa bed. Best location in town! I always make it a point to hit all of the shops. Love the local culture and atmosphere. We will be back soon!

Classic Southern California Casita

Great place for two in excellent location! Neighborhood feel next to Old Town and a short walk to the transit center. Clean, well-stocked, comfortable bed, ceilings fans. Nice shaded patio with table and chairs. Pictures and descriptions are accurate. Thanks, Kathy and Steve, we’ll be back!

Love Love Love the Casita!

Wonderful and magical little place located right smack in Old San Diego! The casita was clean and tidy and we felt right at home. Time spent on the outdoor swing was priceless! Would definitely return! Great communication with host. Look not further, you will love this place.... I know we did!

Excellent, well maintained, conveniently located casita.

Property is right in Old Town San Diego, within easy walking distance of great restaurants, shopping, and the trolley. Casita is fairly spacious, with a nice front and back porch. Very well-stocked, owners had clearly thought about what travelers might need to make their stay more pleasant. Owner was very helpful with suggestions for attractions in the area, restaurants, etc. We had a great time, even though we had to leave a day early to drive home due to the holiday chaos caused by Southwest airlines. Would happily recommend this property!

Charming quarters and location

The size of the quarters was just right for the two of us. I loved the patio! Since we opted not to rent a car, it was a bit of a challenge to get around. But we finally figured it out by using Uber and public transportation. Steve was most helpful and accommodating. He even took us to the grocery store and then back. Thanks, Steve.

Lovely place to stay

The casita is so cute and in a great location! It was perfect for my husband, teenage son and myself. It was wonderful to be able to just walk to so many shops and restaurants. The couch/sofa bed was nice and so easy to make and put away. The shower has excellent water pressure and the casita was very clean, which my husband and I really appreciated. Also, they have a lot of things available to you, just in case. I tend to pack everything we might need so we didn't use the items, but was impressed by how thoughtful they are. This place is just a short drive to everything else in SD. We were in SD for a wedding and it was only 9 minutes away from the venue. The only issue was that we wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks Steve for being a great host and for your lovely casita! Looking forward to staying at your place again. Next time I will make sure I book it more than 2 nights! Peaceful Stay!

We preferred staying in this quaint cottage as compared to hotels for a change. It was much quieter and had more amenities at no extra cost. We loved being able to cook and have a full refrigerator to stock the food we brought with us, and to have an actual dining room table to use felt more homey. We only had to eat out twice within the 4 full days we stayed there--one dinner and one lunch. We walked to our wonderful Mexican lunch, since it was located right across the street a block away in the Fiesta de Reyes Plaza. There was also plenty of room to get comfy on the couch for reading and watching TV. There were so many other options of TV Services to choose from at no extra cost than what we have at home. Since the weather was overcast and rainy while we were there, staying in turned out to be a blessing. Plus, the bed was quite comfortable. Parking is available in the back separated by a gate at no extra charge, so you feel your car is safe and easily accessible. We could also text the owners and get answers to our questions very quickly. It felt like they were family. We were so happy we chose this special place to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. We will be back!.

It's the best spot for all the reasons you come to San Diego! The Old Town State Park where California began is right across the street. Hiking, biking, museums, Sea World, The San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Sea Port Village, The Maritime Museum, bay tours, the Beach! So Central you'll find It's all relatively close.

Leave your car at home or in Old Town and take the train, the trolley, or an Uber. If you just want to sit and relax at the Casita, there's indoor or outdoor space for you to enjoy. You'll hear the sounds of Old Town including music at the Fiesta de Reyes, the distant bells of the Old Church, go for a hike up to where the original Presidio and Mission were located above Old Town and see the Serra Museum and take in the views of Mission Bay and San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean from Presidio Hill & Park. Restaurants are steps away. Mexican, Italian, American, Thai, Sushi, Cajun Creole, are all in Old Town or buy groceries and use the kitchen to make your own.
