Luxurious modern rustic house on Lake Blue Ridge - sleeps 14

Come relax in the Southern Appalachian Mountains and stay on beautiful Lake Blue Ridge. This retreat is the real deal!! You will not want to leave. We have spared no expense to make this a luxurious, comfortable and relaxing experience for our guests.

The house was built in 2019 and has every modern luxury you could need for a wonderful getaway. The Great Room has a massive vaulted ceiling with a wall of windows overlooking Lake Blue Ridge. There are 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms (bunk room sleeps 6). This retreat has all the amenities - brand new upscale furnishings, four fireplaces, 8 TVs, and a fully stocked modern chef's kitchen. It is a 2 minute walk to Lake Blue Ridge Marina and a 4 minute drive to Downtown Blue Ridge. Enjoy two outdoor living spaces with an amazing view of pristine Lake Blue Ridge and mountains in the distance (both have fireplace and TV), single slip private dock (with upper deck), huge fire pit, games galore, private hot tub, indoor lounge area, full size cocktail arcade table with over 400 games, indoor shuffleboard table, outdoor ping pong, large poker table, canoe, kayaks, float toys, gas grill.......the list goes on. Bring your boat or rent one locally. This house is perfect for 6 adults plus kids (8 adults without kids). High end luxury towels , bathroom amenities, and luxury bedding throughout. Outdoor teak dining table for 12, indoor dining table for 10 next to counter with 4 stools so the dining area seats 14 total. We promise you that the upstairs outdoor living area will become your new "happy place".

As you open the front door to this retreat you will quickly realize that we have put much thought and effort into making this a great experience for our guests. We are confident that you will create some amazing vacation memories at Ridge Haven Retreat!!!

***Guests will not have use of the garage for parking. There is plenty of room for parking in the driveway and parking area.

***Please be aware that there a lot of stairs going from the lake to the house (see property pictures). This may be an issue if you have mobility problems or small children.

*** Lake Blue Ridge is controlled by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). This means that the lake water level is lowered during the off season..... the dock may sit on dry lake bed from approximately early-September to late-April. We will try to "chase the water" (move the dock out to deeper water as the level is lowered) to the best of our ability. You can view typical water levels here: http://blueridge.uslakes.info/Level/

A beautiful house with a well outfitted kitchen. It was obvious that the owners took pride in their property both inside and out. We started every morning with breathtaking views of the sunrise.

The location was amazing. Situated on a quiet inlet right next to Blue Ridge Marina. Perfect spot if renting a boat. The house was spacious and well throughout. The air conditioning worked well in all rooms. Enjoyed the poker table. Will definitely book here again

Great Place!

We had a great stay at David's home. It was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. Communication was good. The beds are great! Highly recommend for a family vacation at the lake.

Wonderful property and hosts!

This home is perfect for a family with teens. There is so much for them to do. The lake is certainly perfect for all the entertainment you need but in the evenings it was fantastic for them to play poker or hang in the hot tub or play ping ball. Grateful for the chance to have a weekend here!

Awesome property

We had a blast on Blue Ridge lake. The house is beautiful and was the perfect size for our group with plenty to do on rainy days. It was my 60th birthday celebration! The town is close by with restaurants and groceries. We also enjoyed whitewater rafting on Oconee River. David is very responsive to questions. We will stay again!

Great Family Getaway

This place is amazing! It has a beautiful lake/mountain view and we saw a gorgeous sunrise each morning! The house has everything you need for a large group. The kids loved playing video games and ping pong. There were also many family games to play. We enjoyed Scattergories and Scrabble. Since we cooked our dinners there, we appreciated the high end appliances with double ovens and lots of dishes and silverware. The kitchen has everything you need! The outdoor fireplace became our favorite spot each evening. There was lots of firewood provided. The owner checked in with us and had great communication. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful relaxing vacation!

Ridge Haven is beautiful and well stocked! House was in great shape and very clean at check in. Beds were extremely comfortable, nice thick mattress toppers made everyone’s slumber time very restful! We rent vacations homes quite often and everyone in our party commented that these were the most comfy beds we have ever had! We brought beach towels but did not need them, there are enough towels throughout the house for use with boating, hot tubs, and baths. The room over the garage was very private and had its own keurig, a mini fridge and microwave. We also used this large space to have someone from the local spa set up to give massages on the one rainy day we had during our stay. The main kitchen had everything we needed to make family meals. Having two ovens came in handy. Also a regular coffee maker as well as another Keurig were in the main kitchen. It was nice to have another small fridge to hold beverages on the downstairs bar area. The freezer area of the fridge is small but worked to hold a large bag of ice since most icemakers can’t keep up with a large family. The dishwasher worked great, actually dried everything thoroughly, which meant quick unloading for us and more time relaxing! I think the only items we brought with us for the kitchen were a slow cooker and hand mixer. It was hard to tell what the view from the house would be like from the photos on the listing but the house is situated in a quiet cove with long range lake and Mountain View’s from the main deck off the house and even better views from the top deck of the dock. We rented a boat for our stay from Blue Ridge Boat rentals and enjoyed the kayaks and multiple floats provided by the owners. The house is also walking distance from the marina where you can rent boats daily and enjoy the restaurant. Great hosts! Communication was very prompt with David! Any minor issues we had were addressed quickly! Highly recommend this house if you are looking for a relaxing vacation on Lake Blue Ridge! Thank you David for a wonderful week!

Best Holiday Vacation EVER

First of all, the pictures of this house/property try but don’t compare to the actual thing. Of course, we came in the winter(for water adventures, the dry season…so the dock needed to be pulled up. Yet, we still had access to a canoe and kayaks if we wanted.) I bet the view is even better in the summer when the lake is full. Second, the house is stunning. One can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the design and details. If you love attention to design, you will really appreciate the quality of the products used to build the house…the interior walls/ceilings are wood but manage to mix tones with drywall/paint that do not overwhelm with a “log cabin” feel…the decks out back are wonderful…where we spent a lot of time(and thanks to the firewood delivery we received, we took full advantage of wood burning options, which are 2…one off the main level and one down by the water/fire pit)…of course, we loved the gas indoor fireplace options…one on each level…..the kitchen is thoughtfully laid out and equipped with top of the line appliances ..there are plenty of seating options that are close to the eat-in dining room so that no one feels left out during mealtime..one of the bedrooms is separate and over the garage…like a retreat with its own kitchenette and bathroom….this allows for 2 primary options which is extremely helpful if you have 2 families staying together…concerning the details, there are too many to count….the kitchen is stocked with EVERYTHING you could need…high end pots and pans, dishes, utensils…I could go on and on….there are plenty of towels not only for the bathrooms but, on the lower level, there is what I call a built-in towel organizer! There are towels for water sports plus towels designated for the hot tub. The lower level bar area is also stocked with more bar accessories then one could use. And, let me just mention the lower level “shuffle board”(what I call it anyway!)…..the tournaments we had with this “toy” provided memories that we will never forget! Finally, the proximity to the town of Blue Ridge, not to mention the grocery store, makes this the ultimate property. The owners were available at a moment’s notice (because of communication we had with them right before and as we entered the house) and seemed ready to help if we ever needed it during our stay (which we didn’t.) I would recommend this property over and over again…..well worth it!

Our family of twelve, six adults and six grandchildren, recently spent four nights at Ridge Haven Retreat. We all marveled at this beautiful house with high end finishes and decorations. We found the pictures and descriptions to be mostly accurate. It was fun preparing most of our meals in the beautiful, well equipped kitchen. The spacious and accessable pantry was very benificial. We were all able to gather around the large table on the deck, just off the kitchen, and enjoy meals together. We had plenty of space for our various activities. To enter the space over the garage, you exit the front door and take a few steps to the garage door that leads to the upstairs bedroom. Our grandchildren loved the loft game area, hot tub, shuffleboard, ping pong, and use of the kayaks and canoe. The older boys and their dads went fishing late one night. We all enjoyed the fireplaces. The two small refrigerators in the house came in handy. We enjoyed our stay at this property and had no real issues. John & Myra A.

My wife and I had a great weekend getaway with friends. The house more than met our expectations from seeing the beautiful sunrise over the lake and enjoying the afternoons and evenings around the outdoor fireplace. Host was very responsive and we would recommend this house for your next stay in Blue Ridge!

Gorgeous cabin in great location

This house is stunning, just as pictured. The location is perfect, close to the marina and rope swings! The owners have thought of everything, the house is well supplied from laundry pods down to kitchen utensils. We were three families with teenage sons, the boys were able to hang outside on one deck while the adults stayed up on the other. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace, too. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful lakefront cabin! The views were stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We spent our days boating, relaxing on the deck, and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect mix of comfort and nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Simply wonderful!

The pictures online look beautiful but does not compare in person. This house is so well done and very thought out. Two levels of premium outdoor space with fireplaces and plenty of wood for days. My kids and husband enjoyed the ping pong and arcade game and a game of poker. Boys loved having hot tub outside to enjoy the views. If you happen to enjoy cooking on vacation then this kitchen is a dream. Very well stocked. Yes there are a few stairs to the water but it really is an easy walk and the stairs are wide and very manageable. Owner was very accessible and helpful for recommendations. Randomly asked him for a place to walk for exercise not hiking and he nailed it, Lake Blue Ridge Recreation Area. This place was even better than I hoped for and we will definitely be back. Did not want to leave. Thank you David for sharing your wonderful home with us.
