Our bed and breakfast is a newly renovated 1940's craftsman located in the hill country of Texas. In historic Johnson City, Texas it is just one block from restaurants, shopping, wineries, & art galleries. This luxurious modern farmhouse is located in the hometown of President, Lyndon B Johnson. I look forward to making your stay a memorable one. I only live a few miles down the road towards the Pedernales Falls State Park (also something fun to do), so I will be handy if needed for any reason.

This modern farmhouse has tons of charm and luxury with old tubs and sinks, wood wall features, wood flooring, fireplace, custom cabinets & more. Each bedroom includes a private en suite. The fenced yard includes a small fire pit and outside sitting area for your enjoyment. A full sized front-loading washer and dryer are also provided onsite.

This entire farmhouse is yours during your stay! Relax and get comfortable without worrying about sharing any space. Luxury meets function in this modern farmhouse you will LOVE!

The best B&B ever!

We love this house! Everything is perfect - the location is so close to the square and all the holiday lights and activities, the decorations are a perfect blend of rustic farmhouse mixed with modern amenities and the heavenly beds! We can’t wait to come stay again!

GORGEOUS!

This was an amazing home to stay in and beautifully decorated. Well stocked to the max with everything you could need. It was all so cozy and comfortable- we loved it! The location was perfect and within walking distance to several restaurants. The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful- making our weekend even more special!

Amazing gem!

We loved this property! It had tons of great special touches, the furnishings were gorgeous, and we loved the firepit outside! A must stay if you’re in the Johnson City area!

Awesome weekend

We had a fantastic time - the house was exactly as described! The location is fantastic as it is close to restaurants and the shops. Linens and beds were so nice and we really appreciated all the snacks! We will be back!

Perfect location for wedding in the area plus sightseeing for hill country.

Nice farmhouse ambience. Plenty of space in the living room & bedrooms. Host was very welcoming with charcuterie board, snacks & bottle of wine. Nice yard area with Adirondack chairs for relaxing around a fire pit.

Gem!

This rental had so many special touches and the decor was amazing! The host is incredibly thoughtful and talented. The location is perfect for walking around the city and the owners of the bars and restaurants are extremely friendly. We were visiting for a wedding and had a fabulous weekend!

Downtown luxury

What a beautiful appointed home! Close to downtown, but quite and peaceful. Cozy, but spacious. Spotless, comfortable, lovely decora, there's no end to the list of amenities this home offers. Malyn responded timely and quickly, and left us wonderful snacks. We would stay here again and again!

Gorgeous House - Perfect Location

This gorgeous house is in the perfect location in walking distance to shops and restaurants and a fifteen to twenty minute drive to wineries. When I say "gorgeous", I mean it is like a place you would see in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Super comfortable accommodations, with everything you would need, and even things you didn't know you wanted (like two different types of coffee makers, a variety of coffees, whiskey tasting area, fire pit, trivia games, luxurious towels and bedding, ...) The owner went above and beyond by leaving us a charcuterie board, homemade blueberry loaf, wine, basket of snacks, and balloons for my husband since I told her it was his birthday.

Fabulous Home...Didn't Want To Leave

This home is everything it is advertised to be. My sister, niece and I did a weekend getaway. The Johnson Odiorne Haus is truly the best home we have ever rented. It was absolutely spotless. Malyn, the owner, was very responsive and provided wonderful suggestions for restaurants and shopping. She left us breakfast for our first morning. The house has everything you need. The outside space was great for a fire on a chilly fall night. It is located right off the square in Johnson City and you can literally walk to restaurants and shops. You can actually pretty much walk the town. We can't wait to come back. Thank you Malyn for making our weekend so special.

A Gem in the Hill Country!

Wow-this gorgeous home exceeded all expectations! Immaculately decorated, comfortable yet stylish bedrooms, highly functional kitchen and outdoor space with everything you could possibly think you might need in a vacation home! Malyn, the home owner was super helpful with local recommendations and very quick to respond to any questions. The location was perfect - in walking distance to all the great Johnson City restaurants, the Science Mill museum, adorable coffee shop, antique shopping and more. Also only a short drive to many great options on 290 - we visited Garrison Brothers Distillery and William Chris Winery - both were super kid friendly with lovely outdoor seating and room to play. Perdenales State Park was a fun outdoor adventure too. It was so relaxing to come home after the day's activities to this beautiful house to play corn hole, make s'mores over the fire pit and watch the gorgeous sunset! I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this little gem in the Hill Country!

Johnson City getaway

We enjoyed our stay immensely! The house and property are beautiful and well kept! Our host was helpful and thoughtful about our comfort and stay. The house is walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. I am sorry that I cannot give more than 5 stars. Will stay here every time we are in the area!

Great stay in the Hill Country

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The host gave us tons of info for local things to see and do. The house was super cute and decorated very well. Everything worked and there we planets of special touches and extras throughout the house. We loved our evenings sitting next to the fire outside, sipping some wine. Great Stay!!

A Perfect Stay

Great house and host

My husband, daughter and I had a great time at this house. The host Malyn was amazing and provided us with tips and local recommendations on things to do. The house was beautiful and loved how it was decorated for Christmas. The location is perfect. We loved our stay here and will definitely return

This is a 1940's home that has been fully renovated. It has all the things needed for a really comfortable stay. The house has two master suites one upstairs and one down along with a full laundry room, kitchen, and wonderful outdoor space. It is walking distance to wonderful food, shopping, and wineries. It's located one block from the city square.
