Our second stay here and we loved it just as much as our first! The condo has everything you need, and its location is wonderful! The beach is literally a 3 minute walk from the condo and the pool is right outside. Having a shopping center nearby (walkable) is so great for groceries, pizza and ice cream! We love this place and will for sure be back!

The condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. It was an easy walk to the beach and we also enjoyed the pool. The pool was never overly crowded at any time while we were there. The owner was easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend this property!

Location was great!

Very close to beach & the pool was great for our children. Overall the location worked well for us; close to paths for biking and walking, too. Plenty of room for our group of 5 to relax, eat, and sleep.

Great stay!

We loved our week in this condo. It was the perfect size for our family of 5, and had everything we needed. We loved the pool right in front of the condo and the easy 5 min walk to the beach. Having the supermarket across the street was so convenient too! Owner was super responsive and helpful. Great experience! We hope to come back again! Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

A Hidden Gem

This condo is clean and comfortably fit our family of 6 adults. We loved the proximity to the beach, which was never crowded, and it was also convenient to anything we needed. It was perfect for a relaxing, reading and enjoying the beach and pool. The table on the deck was a huge bonus for family dinners.

Amazing week!

This was a perfect stay for an excellent week. Our rental was extremely clean and well maintained with everything we needed. Very close to beach and the pool! Plenty of room and extremely comfortable. Having access to the bikes, beach chairs and umbrella made our trip even better since we didn’t have to pack ours! Excellent communication from our hosts and the check in process was flawless. We really enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend!!

So overall our experience was fine. Checkin didn't go great due to the fact that the cleaning company showed up 10 minutes prior to our check-in time. But they had a call off so no harm there. We were still able to access the property to drop off our things. A few things to note. This property does NOT have any filters on their incoming water. We really thought nothing of it until everyone started to not feel so good. I've been coming to the obx for 10 plus years and every place always had a filter and I didn't really think much of it. So if you have any sensitive tummies bring bottled water. Also just a thing to note. The property has cameras at the front door, porch, and parking area. I was told they are shut off during the stay. But overall the property is fantastic and I would stay again. I would just bring my own water lol.

Week stay at Indian Summer.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Because it has private beach access to the beach was never too crowded and it was a quick and easy walk to the beach. (our weather was perfect!) The stretch of beach couldn't have been better. The pool is a great amenity to have; and for the most part was not too crowded which given the Pandemic I was a little concerned about. Things were as equipped as was described; however, if you like to cook, you should bring some of your favorite cooking utensils . . . it was a great week and I would return to this spot!

Nice condo!

A very good fit for the size of our party. Location was great-pool easily accessible, beach close enough to walk, and great front porch for meals! Only concern was cleanliness-since we had small kids who lose toys, we were perhaps looking in non-standard places, but under the beds and couches there were some surprises. But if you don't have to get down there to retrieve toys, you'd probably never know!

Hi Elizabeth, We are happy that you enjoyed your stay overall. We are sorry that you found issues with things found under the furniture. I wish that you had let us know during your stay as I could have sent the cleaning company out to rectify the issue. Regardless, we will take care of the issue and were happy to host you.

Great location

Nice sized condo in a family friendly community. It’s an older condo compared to a lot of the new building on OBX but has that laid back beach atmosphere. I love the pine paneling :). The pool is clean and right near the condo. The covered porch was a great spot to sit and have coffee or a meal with sun hitting it in the morning. It’s a short walk to the beach which was not overly crowded. You can walk, bike or drive a short distance to the supermarket and an assortment of stores. There is ample parking, some of it covered. There was a maintenance issue but the owner was very responsive. My only downside was the king mattress was very firm - that’s just not my preference. We enjoyed our stay here!

Great weekend

The property was as stated in the listing. We did have to supply our own bedding and towels which they had told us but was a little hassle coming from a long distance. The closeness to the beach was wonderful - just a short walk. Weather was great. Items in shed were helpful - chairs and umbrella. We didn't have a chance to use the bikes. Communication was good although we had a little glitch with the entrance code. Hostess had sent it but we couldn't find it - finally looked in our "junk" email file and all the details were there. The unit was clean but dated and worn. Brand new pool area and deck were very nice. Overall we had a great time with friends there. Thanks Susan

Hi Millie, We are really happy that you found the condo clean and enjoyed our close proximity to the beach and the items we leave for guests in the outside closet. We are sorry that you found it difficult to bring your linens; however, this is why we are upfront in the listing that it is necessary to bring your own or choose the option to rent them so that there are no surprises. As for the rental information, we have not yet had a problem with our emails going through to our guests, so there may be settings on your account that prohibit certain email communication from coming through. We have replaced all bedding and some furniture so that our guests should feel comfortable. We are glad that you had a great time and thank you for choosing With Porpoise for your stay!

Everything was wonderful. Linens and everything were ready for us after a long day of travel. The pool was great but a lot of the guests didn’t rinse off from the beach properly. The condo was exactly as described and perfect for our family vacation. Susan is a wonderful host and a great communicator!

Great condo and location!

We loved our stay here! The weather wasn't the best during our weak but the condo was wonderful. Very roomy, furntiure and beds were comfy and both bathrooms were enough for our 2 adults and 2 teens. It was nice to have the pool as an option, especially since it's open until 10pm, and being walking distance to the beach was a great treat this year, compared to where we stayed last year. The community is very friendly and it was a perfect week away! Thanks for all the touches that made our stay great. Communication with the owner when needed was always very prompt!

Enjoyed our vacation. This place can be loud at night because of stairs and gates. Could use a good deep clean.
