The photos on Vrbo make the place look more spacious than it actually is, so we were a bit surprised when we first arrived. The jacuzzi tubs needed some cleaning when we got there, as there was some residue from previous use, so we cleaned them ourselves before using them. The basement had a slight humid smell, which may be due to moisture. Also, while the listing photos suggested direct water access, we later found out that access is shared among multiple homes rather than being private. That said, we still had a nice time overall. The location is great and very close to many activities, which made the stay enjoyable.

Mallard Landing

This location was perfect for our family in terms of size of the house and surrounding property. The house is beautiful and the location on the lake was ideal - less boat traffic and in a "no wake zone" so the water was not choppy in that inlet. The dock located right behind the house was also a huge plus. It was a good week for our family.

Perfect Place to Retreat

This cabin in the woods was the perfect place for our teen retreat. The open living room space offered a great place for everyone to gather and commune, and the multiple seating in the kitchen was large enough to include everyone. There was certainly enough bedrooms and having a bathroom in each was a plus. We will keep this on the list as we plan for the future.

Great property

Great property in the perfect location on the lake (waterfront for summer time activities, minutes from the Wisp base area). Property was clean and well maintained. Hot tubs were clean and like new. We had one small maintenance issue - communication with the property manager was easy and the maintenance guy was there within a few hours to rectify the issue. Would highly recommend.

Nice home, bad communication

This home was lovely and pretty much as described. The home accommodated our large family. There were a few things that were not mentioned in the listing, for instance, the dock is shared and the neighboring properties walk through this yard in order to gain access to the dock. So you have random people walking through your yard all the time. the listing also indicated that there were canoes/kayaks for Youse. There was only one canoe and it was locked up. No idea where the other canoes/kayaks would be? The biggest problem was the check-in process. Taylor made did not send me a check in email until after the check-in time. There was no communication the week prior and when I, tried to contact them the morning of our arrival, I got no response. Luckily the cleaning people were there when we arrived at four. We were able to get in. Finally the check-in instruction email was sent. This was more property management issue than a house issue. The house itself was lovely and we enjoyed our stay overall. I would hesitate to book with Taylor made again, knowing the difficulties with Communicating with them. I sent a few emails over the Vrbo portal, but nothing was responded to. The only way to reach someone is to call.

The issue with the dock access and the lack of communication during the check-in process is certainly something we will look into to improve for future guests. We strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience, and we regret that there were a few hiccups this time. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience. We will use your comments to enhance our property management and communication processes. great house/ poor appliances/ poor water pressure

House was fine.. Oven was unreliable for food preparation.. Water pressure dissappeared whenever washmachine or shower in house was run.. additional parking was an unsuppervised field .. boat dock was very poor.
