Great house great location

Wedding week for our combined families. Cesar was so helpful and responsive. We had a great time with family. We will definitely be back.

Nice house

We had a great time. We did realize the pool was a 15 minute drive. The house is very spacious but it could use a few minor repairs. The owner is very responsive!

Friendsgiving

This home was perfect for our group of friends for Thanksgiving; an en-suite for everyone, a nicely stocked kitchen and plenty of space. We enjoyed exploring Cape Charles.

Spacious open rental home

Perfect Family Beach House

Perfect for family getaway

We had siblings, spouses, children, friends, and grandchildren stay for a long weekend. Everyone had their privacy, as well as common space to socialize. Convenient to historic district. Loved the views and quiet strolls! A great property!!

Beautiful Beach House

The house has a nice layout, and is equipped with modern amenities. Location is very near the water with some views. It was a bonus to have beach chairs (in great shape!) and beach towels included.

Nice and as described.

Communication was good, quick and easy. There were some things that needed to be addressed and I have spoken to the owner. All is good with that. We would stay again! Nice, clean with beautiful views!

Great location

Check in very easy, and owner was responsive however it appears the cleaning person hasn’t been there in a while, lots of cobwebs/flies in home. It’s a beautiful area, as is the home, but is need of some maintenance repairs primarily leaking faucets, showers, and water dripping from ceiling from upstairs shower , and had an outside faucet that wouldn’t shut off. Plenary of room for a large group of people

Great Quick Getaway

We had a few days before the start of school to get to the shore. We had never been to Cape Charles and were thrilled when this gorgeous home popped up as an option. The owner is great with his communication and insights to the area. Close to a beach and a quick walk to The Oyster Farm. Renting a golf cart made the time in town even more fun - especially for the teens. Would absolutely return - and hope to next summer.

Family Beach Week

Great location! Made use of the private beach for evening walks and public beach for swimming. Access to the Bay Creek swimming pool was wonderful! Enjoyed renting bikes to cruise around the neighborhood and ride into town. Layout of house was good for large group with multiple families, although inadequate seating in the living room with only 5 places to sit for our 9 adults and 5 kids, and dining room table seats only 8. These deficiencies however were evident in the photos and we made it work. Plenty of beds and bathrooms and well-stocked kitchen. 2nd floor bedroom was hot and difficult to cool. The microwave and the oven had not been cleaned prior to our arrival and the furniture in the living room and dining room were heavily soiled. All the bathrooms were very nice but lacked towel racks. The balcony with the swing and rocking chairs was so enjoyable! Having 3 trash receptacles instead of 2 would prevent overflow of trash bags on the lawn. Good communication with Cesar.

Enjoyed our stay at Cape Charles

Cape Charles is an amazing place to visit. There were many things we loved about the house and its location but I would warn anyone who has several families going together, that there is only one fob to get you in the gate for the community. That meant someone had to go to the gate to let others in unless all your families do everything together. If you have kids or teens or other families who rent golf carts and want to do their own thing, this creates a huge inconvenience because only one person can have a fob.

Amazing home

We had such an amazing stay, and a gorgeous home! Everything worked out so well, especially having a short walk to the c pier! The housekeeper was awesome too! Loved the master suite, the upstairs living room, the huge bathroom and the sun deck. We had everything we needed and made use of the little things there for everyone — beach chairs etc. The home owner was wonderful to work with and communication was smooth. Our parents, brothers and their wives, and three kids had the space we needed and everyone was comfortable! We will never forget this experience and the hospitality! One of the most gorgeous homes I’ve ever stayed in.

Cape Charles

The location and house size was perfect. There were 12 of us and plenty of space for us to spread out. Our only complaint was the house is definitely worn out and lacks pots and pans for cooking and does not have enough seating for all of us to eat at the same time. We too have a VRBO and have made sure our kitchen is full stocked and equipped for our guests and have ample seating for the amount of guests we allow. Both of these are easy fixes. We still had a wonderful time.

A birthday celebration weekend

My family and a few friends stayed and we enjoyed the house. It was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The location had beautiful views and the balcony was a great place to sit and enjoy. The bedrooms were a nice size and it was great to have so many bathrooms. The living room and the dining room allowed enough space for us to be able to gather and interact. I love that there were fishing rods available and we did use them. The extra refrigerator in the garage definitely came in handy. When we had questions, Cesar was always responsive. When we first saw the house online we were impressed and when we arrived we were not disappointed. I love that we were able to see the amazing sunsets by walking a few steps to the beach. Our extended weekend there was great and we all agreed that we would stay there again.
