My sons and I had a great stay. The owner, Jerry, came by and spoke with my sons. They really enjoyed meeting him. The location of the cottage was the best part. It was perfect for the 3 of us. We cooked there and had a camp fire for s’mores. My only improvement would be more kitchen pots/pans and improved utensils. Jerry, thank you for hosting us. We had a great time!

Great view in a peaceful and quiet place

This is a great house with a great view along with piece and quiet. Jerry is a great host and his hospitality top notch.

We really enjoyed this quaint cottage. The location was simply perfect for adventures at Seneca Rocks! We were taking a Rock Climbing course over 2 days and this house was within 500 yards of the Guide business and the cute shops nearby. The view of the Crag from the front porch was amazing and fireflies in the evening as we sat on the porch made the place feel mystical.The host was kind and attentive as we checked in. The house had all the items we needed for a comfortable stay. We look forward to a return visit soon!

Great place to stay near Timberline/Canaan Valley

After a last minute cancellation by another property, we were fortunate to find this cottage still available. It’s a lovely little 3br/1ba house, with a large kitchen and living room. Everything was kept very clean and organized. It was easy to find, and the whole stay was very comfortable. The view of the cliffs from the front porch is amazing. The bed was very comfortable, and it’s incredibly dark and quiet at night which was very relaxing. We enjoyed staying here very much!

Best View of Seneca Rocks!

We had such an amazing time at this property. It has the absolute best view of Seneca Rocks. The home was immaculately clean, spacious, and perfect for our family getaway. It also had WiFi which is hard to find out this way! Jerry was a fantastic host and made us feel right at home. We didn't want to leave! We will be back.

Couldn’t have been better!

12 stars!!! (Inside joke with the host.) The place was clean and spacious and the host was great. I brought my son here for his 29th birthday to hike the rocks. The cottage provided everything we needed including a spectacular view of Seneca Rocks. Centrally located to many areas of interest. I’ll definitely be back.
