Uanset om det er sejlsport, kajaksejlads, padle boarding eller bare ligge på stranden, slikker solskinnet; Den fantastiske hvide sand lagune, der er Matapouri Estuary, er det perfekte sted for familien! Perfect for our needs

This was perfect for us for our short stay and had all we needed. Having access to a laundry was great. We would definitely stay again.

Home away from home

The property was handy to the beach. We appreciated the use of the bikes and kayaks supplied by the property. The loction of the property made exploring the surrounding beaches a pleasure. The unit was comfortable and roomy.

Dirty house

The house was dirty, we were reluctant to touch anything! The curtains in the kitchen living area were hanging down from the panel and had no stopper so came off when we pulled them. The rail was extremely dirty. The kitchen is very basic, not even a coffee plunger. The microwave is on top of a fridge so difficult and unsafe for anyone under 5’7”. And we had very tepid showers, I understand the water conservation issue but when you have paying customers I think the showers should be warm. I skipped a shower twice because it was too cold.

Great little getaway

Easy Bach. Simple but has what you need. Awesome location. A very short walk to beach. Great for our kids they loved the bunk beds!

Which door?

The only issue I had was opening the door. The instructions were clear but the numbering on the doors were not so clear. It took a little while to unlock the property and get inside. Other than our stay went well. Thank you.

Amazing location

Tidy 2nd floor bach in an excellent location

Clean, tidy little bach in an excellent location. Perfect for what we were looking for. Excellent price. Just a little dated and with a few items that should be replaced (cracked plates and chairs missing feet leaving them unsteady).

Matapouri Holiday Home

Stayed in unit 2. Was clean but would be more appealing if it was updated. There were a few things that needed repairing or replacing like sliding door, window latches, shower box and other little things. Unit is on second level and is not suitable for toddlers as they cannot safety play on deck. Would have been less stressful if there were gates on second level to contain them. Railing was like a ladder for our grGreat location but accommodation was disappointing. Would stay there again

Great place to stay, beautiful beach across the road, kids loved the kayaks

Loved staying here kids had a great time, lots of fun on the tandom bikes and kayaks, recommend the day trip to poor nights island out from Tutakaka marina so worth the trip.
