Good property as advertised but felt it needed a good cleaning and a little updating. In the bedroom with bunk bed the underneath was put together with duck tape!!! But overall a good place, especially balcony!

Overall the unit and property itself was good. There was an elevator down our whole trip and issues with the other 2 that were in service. Very long waits for them and at time the buttons weren’t working on the other two.

Svar fra VrboOwner den 17. jul. 2026
Thank you for your feedback — we appreciate you staying at Ocean Reef 1601. We’re sorry the elevator outages and malfunctioning buttons caused long waits and frustration during your stay. Elevators and building systems are managed by the HOA/building management, not directly by our team, but that doesn’t make the inconvenience any less acceptable. We will report these issues to building management and ask them to investigate. If you can, please share any additional details or photos via Vrbo messages so we can escalate and follow up. Thank you for staying with us. Team BBG

The condo is excellent. The furniture and supplies as well as the balcony view and the beach accommodations were all great. As great as the condo is, the elevator service overshadows the experience. One of the 3 elevators was out of order and has been for over a month according to the sign taped to the doors. Notice the dates listed on the out of order sign that I’ve attached. Several times we waited approximately 15-20 minutes for an elevator with room available to show up. We began to plan our movements around the elevator service. On our check out day, we waited for 50 minutes, and many completely full elevators, to get down to our car. It’s unacceptable. The owners need to take swift action to correct this problem.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate you choosing Best Beach Getaways and are glad we had the opportunity to host you at Ocean Reef 1601. We're happy the condo, furnishings, supplies, balcony view, and beach amenities met your expectations. We're very sorry the elevator outages and long waits overshadowed your stay—especially the 50-minute wait on checkout. Thank you for noting the out-of-order sign and dates; we’ll share these details with the building management and owners so they can pursue repairs and better scheduling and improve communication with guests. We hope to welcome you back to Ocean Reef 1601. Team BBG

What a perfect spot for our vacation! The condo was great with everything we needed. Communication was good and check in was effortless. The fact that it wasn’t overcrowded like other places nearby was an added bonus. We had a great family vacation here, and we highly recommend it!
