Welcome to Ozark Outings — Your Lakefront Getaway!

Nothing says summer like a lake house vacation, and this second-tier home on the 43 Mile Marker delivers the perfect mix of comfort, views, and lake-life fun. From the moment you arrive (yes, even after the classic winding lake road!), you’ll be greeted by panoramic views of the water and a peaceful setting ideal for family, friends, or both.

🏡 Home Highlights:
This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom family lake house has just been updated with a remodeled, fully stocked kitchen and a brand new California king bed in the master bedroom. The other bedroom features a queen bed, and there are two queen pull-out beds in the living room, plus an extra cot for added flexibility. The home is stocked with everything you might need: linens, beach towels, extra toiletries, kitchen essentials, grill & utensils, coffee, and more. Just bring your clothes, swimsuit, and toothbrush!

🔥 Cozy up by the wood-burning fireplace or soak up the sun from our expansive back deck with unbeatable views, plenty of seating, and a large dining table for meals outdoors.

🌊 Private Dock & Outdoor Living:
One of the best features of this home is your own private dock just steps away (though fair warning — there are quite a few stairs, so be prepared for a bit of a climb on the way back up!). You’ll walk down from the deck, cross the quiet road, and descend the concrete steps to the water. But the mini workout is worth it — the dock features a lily pad, paddle board, and even a platform jump (8 ft high — adult supervision required) for an unforgettable lake day.

🚤 You’ll also have access to our private boat ramp (we’ll unlock it for you upon request), and there’s ample parking for trailers in the driveway.

🛑 Please Note:
• Our home is in a quiet cove with enforced quiet hours from 11pm–6am.
• Due to limited providers, internet may be slower on holiday weekends. If you plan to work remotely, we suggest bringing a hotspot just in case.
• The GPS can be misleading — we’ll send detailed directions via VRBO messages two weeks before check-in (or sooner, if needed!).

This home is located near Laurie and Camdenton, with tons of great food options — ask us for recs! This is our 32nd summer here at the lake, and we love helping guests make the most of it.

Ozark Outing was the perfect spot to enjoy the Lake! From the second I booked, Jodie was on point with instructions and suggestions of things to do. The place itself was easy to find and one of the absolute cutest places I've stayed. The decor, the plants, the furniture was all very clean and felt very homey. The kitchen had pretty much everything you would need. May want to bring some basics like olive oil and plastic baggies but otherwise pretty well stocked. The bathrooms had everything you would need except your toothbrush. There were plenty of towels and linens available also. THE VIEW. You can't beat it! They are on 2nd tier which offers amazing 180 views of the water. There is no house in front of them so its wide open. Also, because of the empty lot and driveway down there it was super easy to find by water... which was a bonus for us having friends come pick us up in their boat. When we arrived we were greeted by Larry, who lives right next door and was available for any thing you may need. We were there for my husbands 50th. Jodie was so sweet to offer us a late check out as a bday present to the hubs. Thank you so much for that! Absolutely, fabulous hosts and recommend this spot 10/10. We'll most definitely be back!

This was a wonderful place to stay! Communication with Jodie was fantastic, and Larry was on site to assist with any needs. For example, he made sure we had everything we needed for a nice fire by the lake. The dock has a fun 8 ft. platform, lilly pad, and paddle board. The house is very clean and well stocked, and we loved sitting on the deck watching the lake! Thank you Jodie and Larry for a great weekend.

Great Lake home!

This is a beautiful home and very comfortable. Large deck, nice dock. Very homey and comfortable. A perfect spot for outdoor living and water fun, plus lots of indoor space and good amenities.

Great spot for a lake getaway

We enjoyed our stay and the host was very easy and quick to communicate with. The walk down to the dock is steep but it allows for a beautiful view from the back deck of the house. Overall great stay!

Just as good the 2nd time

This was the 2nd time we've booked this property. It won't be the last. Everything was great and Larry made sure we had plenty of firewood for the outdoor pit. We had a wonderful relaxing time. The property is exactly as advertised.

A Weekend of Nirvana

This house was just what my two friends and I needed to rest and relax after having a hard summer. Words can’t describe how therapeutic sitting on the expansive deck and watching the lake was. And the inside of the house was so welcoming with its decor and layout. It fit our needs perfectly. We would be thrilled to hang out at this property again some day. Property is as advertised. Great layout and much larger than pictures show. Very large deck. Perfect location on the quiet end of lake which we wanted. Outstanding catfishing right off the dock was a plus.

Birthday celebration

We had the most amazing weekend celebrating our son‘s birthdays with some of their friends. The house was perfect, had plenty of space, and was well stocked with anything you could need for a great time at the lake! Loved the decoration. Cooking in the kitchen was super easy as the cabinets were well stocked, and we enjoyed our evening and eating on the deck overlooking the lake! Thanks for a wonderful weekend, one our boys will never forget

Quite Lake Houe

We had a great time at this quiet lake house. We didn’t have a boat but our adult kids enjoyed swimming off the dock. It is on a main waterway so the water can get a little bumpy. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but the owners had put fire wood out for us. Plenty of floor space to spread out. Great deck! It is a bit of a walk to get down to the dock. Kitchen was equipped enough that we could cook. Grilled out one night. The grocery store is about 30 minutes away. Thank you for a great stay!

Near perfection

This wonderful property is by far the best place we've found at Lake of the Ozarks- and we have stayed in over 30 different houses! The interior design is amazing- kitchen fully stocked- bedrooms and bathrooms incredibly furnished Lake view is amazing and deck is worth the drive alone!! A Very Relaxing Getaway

Even better than expected after seeing photos of this home that sold us! The home is beautifully decorated, included all we could possibly need to feel at home, exceptionally clean and we loved it! Also the attached garage made packing and unpacking convenient. We enjoyed a perfect view of the sunrise over the lake!

Our experience was very enjoyable. The owners responded quickly about a plumbing issue and took care of said issue just as quickly. House was wonderful and well stocked. Definitely plan on renting from them again.

We're a small, lake lovin', family of 4. My parents, Larry and Tamie, moved away from the city life to the Lake of the Ozarks almost 30 years ago and never looked back. My brother and I grew up on the water and almost always on a boat or jet-ski. When we weren't in the water, we were out in the woods exploring or giving our Mom a heart attack by climbing trees in the front yard. I always say, it was the best place to grow up, and this all happened in the home located right next to this rental. (Your only neighbor) We are now grown and have moved away, but every time we come home, we leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The jaw dropping sunrises, the insanely bright stars, the deer roaming the front yard, the stillness of the lake, it honestly transports you. We truly hope you and your family and friends feel this same exact way when staying here!

Why this property? Why NOT this property! We have all the space, views and lake access you could need for a lake vacation! We are a perfect fit for family and friends that just need to get away from it all. Please note that we are on the quiet side of the lake and a ways from the popular pool bars.
