Great long weekend with our family before our sons headed back to school. If views are what you want this is the house for you! They were stunning! Everywhere you looked you had a spectacular view! We enjoyed eating on the porch and relaxing in the hot tub after our adventurous afternoons. We didn't realize how exclusive the property was and were pleasantly surprised by the amenities offered in Eagles Nest. We went to the free concert on saturday night which was awesome. Wish we had more time to explore all they had to offer. Would highly recommend bringing handsoap, shampoo/conditioner/bath soap as they only supply you with a night or two. We also had some issues with cold showers and the dishwasher was not working. For the price of the house we were surprised to have those issues. Other than that this home was awesome!

The house was perfect for my group of 11 women in town for a bachelorette weekend! We had a significant winter storm during our stay and the management company was excellent at communicating with us about everything we needed to know in order to prepare to travel. The Eagles Nest community is just beautiful and very well maintained. Beech Ski Resort was only 20 min away from the home. The home had everything we needed to stay entertained during a snowy winter weekend. It was a WONDERFUL stay and we would definitely recommend it!

Friends Trip - 2022

Perfect Family Getaway

The house is amazing with the most beautiful serene views of the mountains, from the outdoor fireplace to the hot tub it doesn’t get more relaxing. So much to do at Eagles Nest, UTVing, fishing, hiking, putt putt, and archery to name a few. Definitely will be back.

Amazing views, beautiful home and awesome property management!

Sometimes trusting the pictures is a gamble but this home is even better than the pictures. All amenities were maintained and in perfect condition and property management was extremely great about responding promptly, leading up to and after our stay. I would love to come back to this property every year if I could!!

Great graduation weekend!

Property was perfect for our graduation weekend! My daughter was graduating from ETSU so my entire family joined us at Clouds Rest at Eagles Nest. Beautiful home with enough beds for the entire family! Even worked with us so we could make it to beginning ceremony on first night if our stay! Amazing weekend!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

The house and amenities at Eagles Nest are amazing! The house was very clean and the layout and open spaces were perfect for hosting a dinner for the Lees-McRae swim team and our sons’ college graduation. The view of the mountains and gorgeous sunsets from the deck were the ultimate backdrop for so many photos!. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great Property, Ok Accommodations.

The house is amazing, and top quality for a rental. “Sleeping 20” is a bit of a stretch considering the bulk of the arrangements expect you to put 12 in one room and 2 to every single bed in the place. Don’t get me wrong, the bunk room is a great set-up but again a lot more hostile like than accommodating. Ideal for a family and a village full of kids, but certainly not ideal for adults. We had a party of 15 and thought we’d great but 15 grown men found ourselves limited for sleeping accommodations in a “sleeps 20” set up. Again great property, but perhaps a little more clarity on the sleeping set-up should be considered. Thank you!

Disappointing Hot Tub Experience, But Gorgeous House and View

The house was absolutely amazing, and the view was even more breathtaking in person. However, we were disappointed that we couldn't enjoy the hot tub until the last night of our stay. Upon arrival, it was very unclean, and unfortunately, it wasn't serviced (and drained because it was so dirty) until much later. We specifically chose this place for both the hot tub and the view, but not getting to fully enjoy the hot tub was a letdown. Despite this, the overall experience was still great, but it would have been perfect if the hot tub had been ready for us from the start as advertised on the listing. There was no concern or offer of a discount for the inconvenience of not having the hot tub available during our stay.

Best Sunset Views!

Beautiful property with two huge outdoor decks equipped with outdoor furniture and a hot tub makes this super for large group gatherings…and THE BEST sunset views! Great sound system inside easily hooks to your music apps too! We have no idea how you’d sleep 20 people in this house, as stated. The bunk room does use full size mattresses, so it could work to sleep 8 in this small room, if you had a bunch of young kids. Still not sure how you’d sleep the other 12 to make 20. I travel with large groups and like to know this beforehand. I hope this helps a large group prepare accordingly. Eagle’s Nest Mountain is the best place to stay! They offer so many activities- hiking, playground, mini golf, archery, outdoor concerts, wildlife, etc. it’s just dreamy! I enjoyed the easy access to the mountain amenities yet quiet, private location.

Clouds Rest

The house is beautiful. Clean, amazing views, and modern amenities. Our issues: we asked if possible for early check in, knowing that the house was vacant for a few days prior to arrival. Hoping for maybe 3pm. We were told it wasn’t possible and would receive our code for the house before 4pm. No code. Sat outside in the rain at 4:30 calling for code. Someone just forgot to send. Ok, not a great start but mistakes happen. Code to get into the community gate. On our arrival, we didn’t need it, thankfully because the gate was open and being serviced. However, the gate code they sent was completely wrong, According to security, the code given was not a code they recognized and we had to be buzzed in by him each time. The house is pretty high up in the community, so if you want easy access to town or to the slopes, this might be an issue. Get your supplies before heading up because once you’re there, you’re not going to want to come down for something you forgot at the store. Also know that there is construction around with new homes being built next door. Other than those management glitches and the distance, the house itself is beautiful with great views. P.S. the owners note on the firewood was condescending but amusing. Don’t worry we brought our own.

Better than I could have imagined!

I have nothing but great things to say about the house, property, amenities and management team. This place was absolutely beautiful, clean, quiet and relaxing. It has everything you need and more. The description does not do justice to how much space is available. The bunks are double beds, the kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, keurig and regular coffee makers, 2 full size refrigerators and freezers, plenty of blankets, hot tub towels, movies, board games, air play on TV, bluetooth speakers.

Beautiful Property, excellent amenities!

A group of our friends got together to Ski and celebrate Christmas and it was perfect. There was plenty of room and space for everyone to be comfortable, and the views were out of this world! Would definitely come back!!

Amazing

What an amazing home and community. This home is located perfectly with great sunset views. We traveled with four families from all ages and had a great time. The home was clean with many upgrades such as the Sonos home theatre system with speakers located throughout the home. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the adults enjoyed the views. We didn't even leave the resort in four days. The amenities of Eagles Nest are endless. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a great vacation.

Cabin is super clean, new, and comfortable

There was no problem with renting the house. Customer service was very good. The house feels safe. The planning of the house is just genius. The views from the balconies you would have to just see for yourself. The house is super clean, and new seems like the house was just recently built. The fireplaces and hot tub were easy to use. The kitchen had everything you would need. Kitchen, living, and dining rooms were very spacious. The beds, linen, towels were included and were washed and clean. All the TVs were big and modern. The chimneys and fireplaces created a warm and comfortable atmosphere. The neighborhood is safe and clean. The driveway is big enough to fit about 15 cars. Overall it didn’t feel like we ever left home. If God let’s we would rent this house again.

Expect to be impressed at Clouds Rest

First class home with extra touches like Sonos sound throughout the home that you can enjoy from your phone. The kids can sled at the bottom of the hill in the backyard for hours. The kitchen allowed for unlimited food storage and overflow in the lower level bar area too, with a wine fridge too. The bunker room for the 10 kids we hosted was magical and perfect for our little ones, and parents too! Ha. Great communication via the VRBO app with the management team especially when we needed maintenance on a Saturday to help troubleshoot an amenity. We will be repeat customers of this VRBO! Do not forget to maximize your time in the hot tub on the lower level especially when watching a snow storm. Truly an amazing place!
