Surrounded by the serene peacefulness only nature can offer, this beautiful knotty pine mountain cabin offers it all! Located in Coosawattee River Resort you are close to everything and yet away from it all! Drive into Ellijay or BlueRidge for shopping, lunch or dinner, head down to the water to try tubing or find a hike that takes you to a beautiful waterfall. How about a picnic... lots of places for that. On top of a great location, this 2 bed/2 bath vacation rental also offers many great things that may make you just want to stay at home and relax!

Lazy Bear Lodge is a great location for a couples getaway, girls/guys only weekend or a family getaway. Located a short distance from Atlanta (Approx 1:15), the all knotty pine cabin has 2 beautiful bedrooms - a King Bed on the large Main bedroom, a King in the large upstairs bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and 2 Twin Beds in the loft. The cabin sleeps 6 (six). The bathroom on the Main level can be accessed by the bedroom and the living area. The bathroom in the upstairs Master is a private en suite bath.

Watch TV on Roku streaming TVs or read in the comfortable family room or just relax by the gas log fireplace. Make a meal and break bread with family and friends at the large farm house dining table or grill outside on the Gas Grill and dine al fresco on the deck and enjoy nature and the visiting deer. Bring some firewood and roast marshmallows for dessert at the large fire-pit area. When you sit on the covered deck with your early morning coffee, take a breath, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet that surrounds you at Lazy Bear Lodge. Look around and you may see some sweet deer faces looking back. On a winter morning, they may be in the front yard nibbling acorns fallen from the giant oaks. It's peaceful here. The only neighbor you will hear is the pileated woodpecker.

Located on a beautiful lot with seasonal views this quiet property lets you get away from it all while being close enough to have conveniences close by. If you wish to venture out, we are 10 minutes from downtown Ellijay and 20 minutes from downtown Blueridge. Starbucks, shopping centers, grocery stores, movie theaters, parks and hiking trails, waterfalls and every type of dining experience from candle lit, white linen, BBQ to fast food is all close by.

Wineries... they are minutes from the cabin. Chateau Meichtry, Roo Vineyards, Cartecay Vineyards and Ott Farms to name a just a few that are close by. Most have live music and food trucks or let you bring your own food and make a wonderful afternoon. How about a day at an Orchard... pack a picnic.. Mercier Orchards is breathtaking! Eat an Apple Fritter an enjoy the beautiful views!

Outdoor Pools open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Indoor Pool open year round. 2 Passes that each accommodate 4 people will be at the property upon your arrival. THE PASSES ARE TO BE LEFT AT THE PROPERTY. There is a charge of $70 for lost passes. If you remove, take home or lose a pass from the property there will be a $70 charge to replace the guest pass.
